Jan 9, 2010I downloaded some videos from youtube and vimeo , and when I doubble click on the file, its just an empty container, I do have Flash 8 and my friend helped me a bit to play the file by using Flash 8 , but whenever I wanna play the file, I have to have that Flash plyer in the same folder, can some1 be kind and help me a bit to convert my Flee or Flea , whatever is that called to a AVI or any other types of file , which Premiere can load !

Professional :: Import Two AVI Video Files & Convert To One FLV?
Feb 17, 2010- I can import a single AVI video file and convert it to an FLV video.
Problem: I have two AVI video files... one 4GB (20 minute) long and one 2GB (10 minute) long... and want to combine them to have a single 30 minute long FLV video file.
Question:
- Can I do this in Flash? When I "convert" a single AVI video to a FLV using the File, Import method... I can't really see the video on the Flash time line.
- I tried doing a File, Import for file-1.avi and then doing it for file-2.avi... but the two were on top of each other... and not end to end.
Professional :: DVD Files - Add Subtitles And Convert For Webpage?
Aug 31, 2011I have a DVD (VOB, IFO files) that I need to upload to my site. I also have to add subtitles in English. I managed to rip the VOB file and add subtitles in Encore, but was only able to save it as SWF file. I can't upload this file to my site nor will you tube accept it. My site is basic html, created in dreamweaver. I have the full Adobe suite, you can see it at [URL]

May 28, 2010I'll start off by saying that I'm new to Flash. I'm using the CS5 Web Premium suite and want to publish an updated version of a Flash movie that contains PhotoShop files which I've recently modified. Unfortunately, when I open the .FLA file in Flash Professional CS5, it's not apparent to me how to do this. I don't see the PhotoShop files anywhere in the Library pane and thus can't figure out a way to update the Flash movie to recognize my newly modified .PSD files.

Jun 26, 2011I have Flash CS5 at work, and CS3 at home. I am creating a FLA file at home that I'd like to append to an existing file at work. I'm guessing that I'll just need to import all of the symbols from the CS3 file into the CS5 file and then copy and paste the frames - or is there a better way to do it? What I'd really like to do is to somehow convert the CS3 file into a movie clip symbol that I could just run in the CS5 file. Is this possible?

Oct 27, 2010I have created many flash video over the years so I definitely know how to embed an flv into flash. Also, it is very hard to screw up the import video wizard in flash so I have eliminated that as a potential problem. I haven't created a movie in quite a few months and yesterday I tried to create one. I used the wizard in flash to import the working flv and when i hit ctrl+enter to preview, a blank white screen showed up. When I right clicked, it said movie not loaded. So I tried to use AS3 and netconnection to embed the movie. When I previewed it, the same thing happened. I then went to view one of my existing swf's that did not have a video and that did not work either. I searched and found the adobe flash player security preferences and changed settings and NOW I can view swf's that do not have video. I can ALSO view old swf's that have video embedded BUT as soon as I open the original fla file and press ctrl+enter to preview, the swf's DO NOT preview anymore

May 6, 2011basically ive made a movie file and every time i publish it or publish preview i just get the first frame, i can scroll through the animation frame by frame but it wont play and it wont start! are there some settings i need to fiddle with or is something turned off? its really annoying me now because i cant for the life of me find whats wrong or even google an awncer. there's no error message, it just acts as if i didnt animate anything, ive tried going to propertys and putting the first frame to play but nothing ive tried worked!

Mar 8, 2012I did a 10 second animation in Flash CS5 and exported to a swf file, but my client is asking me a to convert it to a video file with this requirements:
Size: HDTV 720P. (1280 X 720) pixels. 30FPS. (Frames per second)Format: stream format: HDV-HD1. Stream Type: MPEG-2. Transport Stream(TS). Aspect Ratio: 16:9. Britate Type: CBR (Constant Bitrate).
Number of passes: 1. Video Bitrate: 18300
I tried some conversion programs to do the job:
iWisoft Flash SWF to Video ConverterE.M. Magic Swf2AviXilisoft Video Converter Ultimate 6Total Video Converter HD All of them recognizes the swf file fine, ( I set up the fla file with 1280 X 720 pixels and 30 fps) but when I try to export to a video format with the previous specifications using any of the programs, I get a very slow video, not smooth at all, and sometimes a large video with 2+ minutes (supposed to be only 10 sec). The swf file plays fine

Jan 8, 2010I have some PNG files with alpha numbered 'image0001.png' up to 100 frames. I want to import this as an animation (movie?) into Flash CS4. The docs for Adobe Media Encoder suggest there should be an "export stills as movie" option under Settings but I can't find it. What would be the best way to bring in these .png files into Flash?
