Is it possible to connect c++ dll to .c file (with dllimport or something else) and convert it to .swc with adobe alchemy? If it does - how to do that?

I'm trying to use Adobe's OggVorbis library. But I can't seem to get the Sound object to loop. I even tried looping the _sound object inside the AudioDecoder.as in the "com.automatastudios.audio.audiodecoder" package. Do you really have to reload the file and stream it over and over?
View 1 RepliesI am trying to send a bytearray extracted from a file to the C code and return that bytearray again from the C code..I am printing the contents of the return value from C in a text view contents.text but all i can see is the byte array object "OggS". I can't see the contents of the byte array. Can anyone say where i am going wrong?.. I have posted the C code and the AS code.

I wanted to make live drums play with keyboard shortcuts. The problem was that MP3 is not good enough in this case (encoders adds random silence at beginning of the sound) and also flash itself makes delay (I tried use already buffered file with play specified_start_point_in_miliseconds)). So my solution is OGG (this format is gapless). I use compiled swc file from Adobe Alchemy library and simple frontend for it. Everything works fine, OGG file is playing, but its still much delay - no matter if its lodeaded external or as embedded, and if its first or n time. How to make sound play fast equally to key press.

So why does the Adobe Alchemy Tool create so much faster running flash byte code than the flex compiler?
Also, when will the flex compiler be able to make similar performance gains? Will it require programmer specific use of special Array's or something of that nature to get the same performance?

So I downloaded the facebook api classes from adobe, but I have never worked with flash and facebook connect before. I have a AIR for mobile pure AS3 project that saves a file on the device the first time it runs into the file.applicationStorage directory. The second and subsequent times the application launches I need it to look at that file I've saved.
My problem is that when I debug the application from Flex Builder 4.5 it wipes the application and application storage. So the application always behaves like it is running for the first time. I can't get into a debug session and step through my code as I read in that file.
Does anyone know how to connect to a debug session running on the device? My device in this case is an Android Samsung Galaxy S.

Thing is, i use a folder whole structure to dynamically load content per level. Folder structure looks like this, not that it matters that much:[code]How should I go to distribute this? I'm trying to connect to AMFPHP on a server (with Flash AS3), and the swf borks when it reaches the .connect() stage. To make things easier (?) and more reusable (?), I've put all the NetConnection mechanics into a separate class, AMFConnection, which I call from the Main document class like this (details changed):

AMFConnection actually starts the connection and calls the AMFPHP service with the function gogogo(), and here's where the connect() NetConnection function just won't work. Here's the main section of the AMFConncection class

It also fails to display the stage, instead showing the loading dots. Now, eventually I'm going to move this application to the same server as the AMFPHP service, but even when I try it there with a relative url, instead of an absolute one, it still breaks down at connect(). I've tried changing the publish settings from local only to network only, to no avail.

I heard Adobe has a set of "Sandbox Permissions" but these just confuse me as I don't know where they apply.
