Php :: POST Being Sent As A GET?
Nov 6, 2011I'm writing a Flex application that uses HTTPService to communicate with a php script, in order to do a query on a database.Everything works fine if i use a GET request, but it doesn't work with POST. For some odd reason, the php script is actually receiving a GET request instead of POST. Also, it seems not to carry the parameters that i sent from the flex app.Here is a part of the Flex code:

I've already found some other threads of people with a similar problem, but none of them helped me with this...

When I load that url the variable is sent using the GET method instead. It appears in the url in the browser and the browser shows an error first then "awd", meaning it worked for $_GET. I tried both req.methods and tried adding "_self" and "_blank" and also on different browsers. It still uses GET.

Mar 13, 2012I have a flash-movie on my webpage, which makes a post when its done playing. I want to catch that post and update a session.
I get the following "post-error" when the movie ends.
POST /en/RunTest/test/showmovie/finish
HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
"test" is my controller"showmovie" is my action which takes an id as parameter. fx.
/en/runtest/test/showmovie/1
That is the page my flash is on.
I've tried the using the HandleUnknownAction-method, but it just never gets there. I've tried some MapRoute'ing - but havent succeded.
What i want is the method setMovieSeen to be called whenever i recieve the post from the flash.

I have deployed a simple .aspx page that echos the Request.Form object to the page so that I can see what it is receiving.When flash calls the loadvars.send() in Firefox I see what I would expect which is a list of keys value pairs.
