ActionScript 3.0 :: Flash Login Form - Size And Security?

I've got 2 questions,
1) I'm trying to create a Flash Login Form but I guess its working with ASP or PHP. Can I make Flash to check usernames from any local mdb? As long as project doesn't require internet connection, excel or sqlite will be enough for me.
2) This question is related to first question. If I cant use a mdb file it seems I'll need to embed all those 5.000 users in flash project, am I correct? Also projects SWF file is 50mb. It will work from CD source, I've made it all in one SWF file for security.

My problem is rather simple. I have a site built totally in flash that I need a couple other people to be able to log into, but I don't want them to know the password. Does anyone know if there a way that I can load the flash site in an iframe, and then use some javascript to fill the flash username and password with the correct text so that they can just click the login button without knowing the username and password?

I have a simple login form in Flash for a website. All users login using the same password. The current actionscript which I am using is as follows.

Later this year I will be producing a few expandable banners for a company. The banner is used to attract people and have them suggest candidates for a competition.I suggested the option of possibly integrating an application form in the expandable banner, which after submission should land the user on the landing page of the site.
But after I suggested this, I started thinking:I can't recall having seen a form in an expandable banner for a long time. Because of this, I assume the use of forms in banners might be considered a big no-no. If this assumption is correct: I am trying to figure out why this is. I understand this will be partially off-topic, since the rationale might be in the realm of marketing, rather than programming.
Programmatically:Are there typical security or other concerns that keep professionals from using forms in banners? I'm thinking maybe csfr attacks, etc. here.Usability:Is using a form in an expandable banner a typical no-no from a usability perspective? I'm thinking maybe banners accidentally closing when filling out the form, or too little space to inform the user of the purpose of the form perhaps?
Maybe it's a combination any of these categories? Or maybe none at all. I'm kind of trying to figure out whether my assumptions are correct, and why. Hopefully someone can shed a light on this matter from the perspective of any of the three categories.

for the past couple of days or so i've been attempting to connect a flash login for to a php page for use with MySQL. I've been working with PHP for a while but only started with Flash/Actionscript 3 recently. With all of my searching, all that i can find is As2 helps but no AS3.
P.S. I need to show this to my client tomorrow so as soon as you can give me an answer, please give it.

I currently have a login form in flash that needs to pass variables to a PHP script. That part works fine. The problem I am having is that when Flash passes the variables to PHP, it also passes the style of the input text.
For example, instead of passing "atomstore", it passes "<TEXTFORMAT LEADING="2"><P ALIGN="LEFT"><FONT FACE="Arial" SIZE="12" COLOR="#000000" LETTERSPACING="0" KERNING="0">atomstore</FONT></P></TEXTFORMAT>".
This does not match the "atomstore" in the database and results in an error. How to get rid of all of these tags?

I have the input text ready with one input box labeled username and the other labeled password in flash and on the submit button I have the script: When I publish the file it takes me to the right website but it does not log me in. It just acts as if I just put a regular link to the sharefile login page. I figured this was too simple.

I have been working on developing an application for the android market thta firstly requires the users to login to a account. I have put the code together below, along with a data link to a database in order to check the credentials. However the application does not switch to the second view on the first click of the "Login" button however it seems to take 2 or more clicks sometimes. I presume as it is fetching data from a database that it takes time to be verifies, could someeone tell me how to solve this and maybe implement a BusyIndicator along with it?

I made a login form using flash and made it pass it's variable to php for validation. I have two (2) variables from my php file that I want to pass to flash so it can control my movie. When I pass those two (2) variables, the first one has no problem. My dynamic textfield displays the value that the php sends but when I pass the second variable from my php to flash and displays it in my other dynamic text field, it displays the value but it appears to have html tags i.e.,
1<br /><b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: userLoggedIn in
<b>C:wampwwwestfernwoodestDisplayClients.php </b> on line <b>83</b><br />.
The value of my variable from php is 1 and as you can see, it contains html tags. How can I remove these tags?

I have a need to build a flash login page. No big deal, but I need to have six seperate login accounts. For example:
Username: user1 Password: pass = link to [URL]
Username: user2 Password: pass = link to [URL]
Username: user3 Password: pass = link to [URL]
and so on for up to six users.
Again the usernames and passwords would not change, but need to redirect the particular user to a certain page.

I have a simple C# program that, when a user clicks on a button, opens a new frame with an activex flash object embedded in it. The code I use to open it is the following :

The test program has been run by several user, without any problem, except for one, that sees this:
I don't think that the problem is in the application itself, but in the flash player. So, the question is, what am I missing? Are there flash settings that force the window to have the default size?

My SWF resides on domain A, is loaded by a web site on domain B and is trying to ping URL (URLLoader.load) on domain C. But I am getting "#2048: Security sandbox violation" .. why? Of course I have read the manual, I saw the security white paper but I do not understand it. Don't you know any blog or such where it is explained for dummies? With lots of examples and maybe a table showing what is allowed and what is not?

I haven't fully grasped how the flash security model works, and now I've ran into a problem. I have a base SWF that loads a game loader swf, which in turn loads the actual game.What I'm trying to do is taking a current bitmap snapshot of the running game. This works fine before the loader swf has loaded the game. When the game is loaded, I get a security violation because the game has images pulled from facebook. Is this something that can be solved on my end, or restricted by security in the game swf?

I have a super involved and somewhat silly site I've been working on for a long time piecing together fragments of AS2 code and modifying them to the best of my limited ability.The site is here:http:[url]....I am finally adding the last steps, a series of contact forms with a PHP script in the back end. Anyway, I implemented a form script and have it triggered by clicking the "CONTACT" button you can see on the lower bar. So, click contact and once the form opens (an external SWF loaded into an MC), type away and everything works fine unless you use the letter "f" in either upper or lowercase. It causes the screen to flash and for the form input to lose focus.It works (in that you can enter everything normally -- the form doesn't function, but that's just the PHP which I have yet to edit.)

I'm having trouble with an AS3 AMF RemoteObject request that is hosted on App Engine. I have a crossdomain.xml file in the root of the domain, and also one at the remoting endpoint.Here are the contents of the root crossdomain.xml:

Loading the swf file and testing it on my machine works just fine... I think that may have something to do with me having the debugger version of Flash Player. When I push it up to App Engine to make it public, other clients access it and get a Client.Error.MessageSend Channel.Security.Error error Error #2048 url: http:[url].......I am using Flex 4 beta, and the App Engine Python runtime. I have tried full wildcard in the crossdomain, and even accessing the data endpoint at a relative URL so as to avoid this error.

Everything I've tried with this script has ended with no positive result, this was developed in flash 9, but attempting to publish in flash 10 since its no longer working after updating flash. I have also upgraded from CS3 to CS5 recently also if that makes any difference. Well, here's the code:

So ive been asked to build a page for a real state company and the guy told me it should be similar to these [URL] Ive been trying a couple of weeks so far, but i dont seem to find a way to do somthing similar, i mean, i want to have the welcome screen as those two:
- the gradient background
- flash occupies whole screen no matter what size it is
- gradient expands sideways infinately
- no matter what height my explorer window is, gradient is always in the same position relative to top, and if i keep expanding downwards the background keeps last colour of the gradient.
- the brand logo looks as if it had top, left and right anchors, and it also limitates the minimum width of the explorer window
i though of addind a 3000 x 3000px square with the gradient and centering it, but i know there has to be a professional way of achieving that.

I am trying to build a flash that auto-adjust its size to the browser window size, while leaving the content of the flash itself top-centered in the screen.I have found this solution [URL].. on How to keep centered stuff in this exact case so i am pretty confident i will be able to adjust that script to do what i want.
Now my problem is that if i put my content inside the movie-clip (centerrectangle) with all the animation require, link and other stuff, the movieclip (center rectangle ) never have the exact same center, thus making the script go wild trying to always adjust the location to the variable size of the movie clip.
