I have a problem when I try to compile my player, I get the following error:

1. I have used Security.allowDomain(url...); in the source code
2. This was working fine the day before last.I have tried adding a crossdomain.xml file in the folder where I build the player, still no joy. I tried throughout yesterday to fix it to no avail. I've even tried installing and building the player on a different machine to double check there wasn't something wrong on my PC.
am having a little trouble with a simple form on one of my flash websites. The form takes three pieces of information (name, email and description) and should submit this data to a php page in the same directory where it emails it to me.
When I run the swf from the Flash CS3 Pro program, the connection and submission goes smoothly and I receive the email.But when I load the swf and the php file onto my site and try it over the internet, it gives me the following error:

I have an index called allproducts and I want users to be able to click on an element and load a new SWF (with several external .as files) that has specifics about that element.When I run JUST the element (SS_glutenfree.swf), it works great. When I run allproducts.swf and click on the gluten free button, I get: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

allproducts.swf is in the folder above SS_glutenfree.swf and all of its .as files (which are Gallery, Handle, and Img).
We are making a system that has a main swf for the application, and loads separate tools from separate swfs -- there will be versioning issues in the future since the separate swfs are coming from a cms (especially now since we're still developing, but also in the future when other developers might create an incompatible tool). I'm trying hard to prevent them as much as possible but I'd really like to be able to display a message to the user of the system when an incompatible swf is loaded.
This would mean that we need to catch that VerifyError or at least determine the loading failed for some reason - I've got no idea how to handle that at the moment. I suspect it might be possible using 10.1 and the uncaughtError system, but we are currently targeting flash player 10. Does anyone have a good idea? (we are already handling IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR)
UPDATE: I've built a solution that scans the bytecode before importing, looks like that will work. I'll post the solution later.
I have this movie with 5 button (movie clips) that load 5 swf files/ I cannot get them to load. I can only load one movie. I am getting this error. TypeError: Error #1006: value is not a function.

I'm having trouble playing an swf file in my website and i cant work out whats wrong. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 along with Flash CS4 after i've added the swf (in the root folder i have the .fla file, the .swf file and the flvplayback skin) but i keep getting the'SecurityError: Error #2148' error message. Im confused because when i test the published html file from flash, it works great, same when i double click the .swf, works great but testing the page from Dreamweaver i get the error message. What does this mean and how can i solve this?

I've created a small application that is loaded by a preloader. The preloader loads the app then loads some json data it passes the data to the application and then puts the application on stage. Everything works fine in FDT 4 but once I put it on a server it gives me this error - SecurityError: Error #2028: Local-with-filesystem SWF file. Does anyone know why its happening and what setting I need to change to stop it? I have set the load arrguments -use-network=true and false to no availe. The json data is coming from an external web address when I change and put it locally with the application I get SecurityError 2148.

SecurityError: Error #2000: No active security context.
I -think- it's an issue loading an image but the trace statements clearly show it's being loaded, report the correct dimensions, etc. I have it looking for both Event.COMPLETE and IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR sniffing and Event.COMPLETE loads just fine. However the image is never displayed.
Certainly could be another part of the code but the error seems very general. Anyone have any idea what it really means? I thought as I tested that choosing a local sandbox would choose a security context.

I recently had this vague error happen to me with the use of LocalConnection. It happened every time I tried to connect and send data to another swf. Doing an internet search came up with little results pertaining to LocalConnection and this error and the response some people had were just ridiculous. Apparently this error pertains to image loading and fileReference also, just not in this case. My sending code works fine, even the event.level returned as status which means the other swf got the message, however a trace in the other swf callback function did not show, telling me the callback never triggered.

I built this nifty little weather/clock app as a way of learning to work with API's and incorporates both the yahoo weather api and the flickr api. Now that it is in functioning order, I decided I would port it over to a playbook app via a Flash Builder 4.4 ActionScript Mobile project. I was able to get it installed on the playbook simulator just fine however when the app launched it showed a blank stage. After several hours of research I determined it was a runtime error.After several more hours of research I found it was a security error when making a call out to the flickr api. The debugger reports the following error:

Now the code I have inherited for this project is huge so I have no idea where the issue could be. I already knocked out a few security issues by embedding my xml and css during compile, and I've reached a dead end.I do load swfs dynamically but everything is local to the main swf. Now I should point out that the customer is loading the swf by simply putting the address of it on a file server into their browser (its not in a web page - yes I know this is bad practice but its what they want).

I've tried everything that i've read, but it's still not working. I have a swf file that loads another swf file, but when I compile, I can see a few traces of the swf file being loaded, but then I get hit with:

Trying to make an image appear by loading a .jpg from my project's folder on my computer.
This happens: SecurityError: Error #2000: No active security context.
Other topics for this error involve timers, wrappers and bugs. What I am wishing to do here seems so basic it couldn't possibly require such complication. By default my local playback security is checked to "Access local files only".
I spent 3 weeks reading about ActionScript so I can make a game and I can't even load an image from an assets folder onto the stage. All I can do is trace a note to myself in the output window. For me FLASH is such a pain with security and javascripting...but, I am trying to upload a basic flash video and I keep getting this security warning and the video will not play.
SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file XXXXXXXXXXXXX.swf cannot access local resource xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.flv. Only local-with-filesystem and trusted local SWF files may access local resources.
I have not done anything different. It previews fine in Flash and Dreamweaver but not on the server.
