As3 :: Flash - Tabbing To Next Form Field Starts On 2nd Line

I have a simple form I created in flash and I set it up so you can tab from one field to the next. The problem is when I tab to one of the fields, a multiline textbox, it starts on the second line of that field. If I click on the textfield it goes to the 1st line.
I am having some issues with a php email form that I am using in my AS3 project. the form works perfect and all communication is good.however when the user is on the page and wants to tab to the next text field it jumps to one of my hyperlinks on the same page and not to the next text field down on the php form.
is there any way to stop this from happening.I have tried placing the php form on a seperate layer in a seperate mc and I have done the same with the hyperlinks .you can see what I mean by visiting this development site.(after entering go to contact)http:[url].....
How to make tabbing work on my mail form? When user wants to go from text field to text field, what he/she need to do is just simplytab, but it doesn't work automatically on my form - do I need a special code for this?

Everything is fine, except the "state" field is actually a combo box component. It will tab from "city" to "state", but when you hit "Tab", it does not move the focus to the next field.
Is there some trick to this or some other code or a paramater I'm overlooking? Do I have to make a customer key listener to make it tab off a combo box?
Has anyone seen this before, and if so, why does it happen? [URL] Click the Contact Us form and tab from one field to another. Or fill in the "Go Black" form at the bottom of the page and tab between fields. What's the deal with that white box? Where does it come from? Why is it there? How do I kill it forever?
When a Dynamic Multiple line text field is used in Flash CS3, it has a very annoying feature that auto inserts a line break at the end of inserted text. It also auto inserts a line break if no text is entered too.
I'm having a problem with this because the text is being saved from flash to a text file on the desktop. With every multi-line text field there's a nasty looking line break.
Any way of "turning off" this auto-line-break-at-the-end feature?
I've created a multiline Input TextField in Flash CS4 IDE, and when I publish and click on it the text cursor jumps down to the second line. In the Flash IDE there is no line-break, but somehow it gets inserted before it's ever interacted with at runtime. I've tried all sorts of random TextField settings but every time when I render the SWF, the input has a line-break. Anybody ever dealt with this? How do I get the TextField to just be empty on start??
Is there a way to pass the textfield A text to a dynamic text input (flash) as I'd like to use the font embedding flash offers. I can make it work when loading a value from a txt file but I'm not sure how to access the value identified above as KitGroupID_16_TextOption_38 and make it appear in a dynamic input box. Eventually I might want to have 3 font choices for the user but I'd like to just see if I can get this working properly first.
So what am i trying to do is when text in textfield is lets say 95 it starts an animation that is in library.dont know how to startby the way text in the text field decrases by 1.so when it gets to 95 it starts the animation
I'm building a Flash banner that allows the user to input some text and then when they click on the send button, they are taken to a web page where the text they have entered is already placed in the relevant form field on that page.The web page already allows this action from another web page, but I'm struggling to make it work when Flash sends the text.The web site developers have sent me the HTML which allows the transfer of data between the first page and the second:
Flash 8, CS3 and CS4 on Windows XP. The issue is that seemingly randomly, when I draw with the pencil tool, the line starts to zigzag and squirm, even though my mouse/wacom tablet is moving steadily. It's little tiny squirms that go in all different random directions. It's pretty much impossible to draw anything when this is going on, and I usually have to do something else for a while and hope it's still not doing it when I come back.
I've got a dynamic html text field in flash which pulls content from an XML file, which is being generated by a CMS using CK Editor. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but flash represents a <br/> tag with a space that seems more fitting for a <p> tag, and a <p> tag renders with about double that amount. How do I control this? I've tried specifying margins in the flash css file, but it has no effect. Is there something I can declare in the actual actionscript code?
I have a TLF editable field in a(n) swf file. Text entered there gets sent to a php page where everything is processed. I had the behavior set for multiline, but just realized that if someone hits return and keeps typing, no break is displayed (not even a space). I've tried using nl2br() in the php when it grabs the POST variable from flash, but that doesn't work. I don't know how flash handles the carriage return, so I don't know how to handle it on the php side either.
I've created a product registration form for my website and the basics of it work fine, ie when I click submit the info successfully gets e-mailed to me. I'd like to expand the functionality of it, however. As is, I get an e-mail regardless if any of the fields are filled in or not. I'd like for users to be directed to an error page when the e-mail field is blank and a thank you page otherwise. How would I do this? I imagine it can either be done directly in flash or would the php instruct the browser to navigate to the error or thank you page? Key is I don't want the form to be submitted if the email is blank.
I've got a site that is using loadSound to play some mp3s and it works fine. however, the sound starts to stream, and then replays itself like a second later. my guess is that its playing faster than the load is going and when it gets to the point where it hasn't loaded enough, it starts to replay it, but i'm not sure that that is the exact problem. my code:

now, i tried making a playTrack function that i can call with setTimeout and i put that in the onLoad in place of track.start(), but that didn't work either (i was hoping to not start playing the track for 3 seconds to give it some time to buffer).

been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to install a validation component to this bit of as code. Currently I have it work with an email.php file specifically set up for my client's godaddy site. This part works so I don't want to mess with it too much. But how should I validate the fields then? anyone?
I have a flash and php based mail form that needs to have the fields verified. So when a user does not insert info in the text fields, an error clip will play. The form works fine without the verification of fields, but I want to prevent from receiving blank emails. I am working with the web template located at the following URL: [URL] If you look you will see the "Contacts" page has a form with text (i.e. "Name", "Phone", "E-Mail", etc.) that vanishes when each text box is clicked. After editing the contact information above the form the effect was lost somehow.

I need to send some text that has been entered in a Flash banner to a form field on a web page. Basically the user types into the text field on the Flash Banner and when they click the send button, it opens up the web page with the text already entered in the appropriate text filed there. I'm assuming I need to use LoadVars and I have some HTML code that does what I want but I need to work out how to convert it to ActionScript.

I am doing a simple form "POST" and I need to include some hidden field information. My problem is that my hidden field identifiers are formatted like this: 00N3000001NzMD. So when I declare the variable I get a syntax error. var 00N3000001NzMD = "eMarketing" I'm assuming this is because you are not supposed to have a variable that starts with a numeral? The logical (to me) work around would be to do this:
