ActionScript 2.0 :: XML Viewer, Using Wrong Source?

I followed the XML gallery tutorial on the main site, no problems there. But for this project I'd like to have multiple of those viewers on the cd-rom.
So what I did was I made 7 different viewer movieclips, 7 different XML files and 1 folder containing all the images.
How ever when I play my file what ever button I click it only links to 2 different XML files.

i have a Air Project in which i have added three extenal source folders. but when i reopen project or strat flash builder again i get icon on those folder like this but when i open the configuration for that project and try to validate the path and adding it again i get message like this but the path is valid. proof is this pic what could be possible error,,, is there any way that i when ever re-open project i get no warning and able to navigate through the linked source code. now i am doing it
1- deleting on of the linked folder
2- again adding that folder.

So inside my src folder I have my app.mxml file. I have a source directory pointed to my actionscript library.It appears that Flex does not look inside that source directory including an .as file within the master mxml file.

I want to open pdf files in flash without exiting the .swf.
I am making buttons in flash. And i know you can open a pdf externally with acrobat.
But I want to click a button, stay in the swf,and have a page flipper pdf built in or something. Is anything like this possible/available?

The situation is this; I'd like to be able to use some raw 3d coordinates from a text file and display them, joined sequentially in a wireframe model. Then be able to rotate, scale etc the resulting model.The coordinates aren't from a 3d drawing package but rather measured - therefore each point is literally assigned three numbers, in a tab delimited file. With a large number of points (i.e. over 100) is there a way to load in the file and then generate the resulting model?

I'm trying to convert an image viewer into an nav bar. The images are blurred and as the mask rolls over, the sharper image then becomes visible in its place. All the pics are in one MC. I want to add AS to make each image at on release go to a separate url.

Currently, it opens to the first image in the set. I think it would be better if it opened to the first page of the thumbnail browser instead, to let people that are clicking on it know that there are more images in the set than just the one. Otherwise, they would have to know to click on the little "additional guides" icon in the lower right corner.

I just need some help on quite a basic topic. Essentially I want a very simple image viewer. There are small thumbnails on the right, when one of them is clicked, a enlarged version of that image shows up next to all the thumbnails. When another thumbnail is clicked, the new image replaces the previous. I have searched google however all I find are more complex image viewers which you download and link to a gallery...

I created a swf animation in Flash.The size is 1024x768.When playing the SWF file, if I change the size of the window, it doesn't keep the artwork size.As result when increasing or decreading window size, it shows what it is outside the 1024x768 and I don't want.Ex. The footer line that goes from left border to right border is now foating in the middle, not touching the border anymore.Is there a way to freeze it. So when I increasing or decreading window size, I see the artwork size only?

I have taken a shot at creating a viewer like what can be found at [URL]in Flash, but mine is not working right. I am on Flash MX Pro 2004, so I'm not sure what version this lines up with? I can also send you the file I've been working on if that would help. I found some code online that I have tweaked, but it was for a different viewer, and I'm sure that's where my problems are coming from.

Is it possible to make a flash for a viewer to upload and display a photo temporarily, possibily automatically resize it if it is too small or large, while at the same time a few fixed lines of measurements appear on top of the photo that can be stretched or shrinked so the viewer can measure part of the photo?

I am trying to load this little image viewer via xml into my as3 shopping cart. [URL] I have resized it larger but that shouldn't matter. I have another swf that I created quickly and load it the same way via xml and it opens perfectly in the center of the cart movie, the other one is way left and high for some reason.

I am recently making a website in flash cs3 using flash actionscript 2. I have currently put a zoom&pan image viewer into one of the website pages to use as a map viewer. However once pasted into a empty movie clip it seems to be displaying a whole lot of white space once fully zoomed out and the image being only around a 1/4 of the assigned area. I am thinking its something to do with the alignment. I have also attached the swf file, for quick view. The image can be found if you enter corporate in the first window then venue in the side menu.

i am trying to create a simple panorama viewer. the direction is governed by two mouse over areas one on each side of the stage (both will be invisible), at present the left side animates the background panorama right by 10 and the right side animates the panorama left by -10.
This essentially means it multiplies its speed if i mouse over the same edge twice, this is a problem i wish to fix, i also notice that if i go from one edge of the screen to the other it animates and stops, if we look at this from a maths point of view.
-10 moves left ( if mouse moves too right mouse over edge) +10 this = 0 value or in other words stops animation, then i have to mouse over again to +10 to make value 10 eg move right. this mouse over twice thing is not what i want.
To fix both issues, i think it would be best to place a mouse over area between both left and right that zeros out the value. so the middle will always stop the animation. though id not know how to zero out the value.

On my stage I'm playing a flv video. There's a button over the video that when clicked draws the stage to a bitmap. The bitmap is then converted to a jpg and downloaded to the viewer. It all works great except that I have open with photoshop then save as jpg to get a useable jpg image. I'm currently making a polaroid image viewer working off of this tutorial: [URL] It's my first time working in Flash, so I'm kind-of on the verge of a mental breakdown. Anyways, to my own surprise I've actually gotten it to work and look great. My issue? I'm making the overall project larger and with more images (800 x 600 with seven images). Anyways, when I publish preview the flash document it shows up 800 x 600 but all of the polaroids are squished together as though it's still 600 x 600. Is there a way that I can space them out a bit? Or, even better, is there a way that I can have each of the polaroids sit in a specific spot on the flash document?

I create a web template in Dreamweaver 8; in this template I added a slide show (Image Viewer). This template is working fine in browsers and slide show also playing, but when I create the new web page from this template, and then the slide show not playing, there is an error message display.
"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? Yes or No"
I keep getting this message again and again. When I say no, it asks me again and again, when I say yes then I can't see whats playing. I also Restart the computer, but don't work.

What is the best free resource to use for the purpose of letting users view files (pdf) online without any option for them to download those files in any way? Flexpaper could be a solution but it is said here that:
Natively, FlexPaper does not protect PDFs from being printed or copied. It actually lacks options for doing so on the JavaScript front-end.However in its Commercial License (to take the branding off for 1 domain) contains a ReadOnly parameter to disable printing & copying.
N.B: I want to use php for scripting purpose.
