ActionScript 2.0 :: Editors For OSX?
Sep 11, 2006
As much as it pains me to admit after being a Mac-Zealot for so many years, here goes:
I cannot seem to find a really good AS-editor for Mac OSX. I'd love to hear what you guys use as I'm severely in need of a good editor.
My complaints with the usual suspects: BBEdit. I love BBEdit, but the "three colors only"-colorcoding and lack of codehinting++ makes this not really usable. I find myself switching back to the Flash IDE just to check out stuff, and that sort of defies the point.SEPY. It might be me, but I find SEPY very buggy on OSX. I get weird system notices, and the fact that CMD-S/CMD-W doesn't work like it's supposed to systemwide makes this editor a pain in the ***. A pity really as it's close to the best I've seen.SCITEFlash... Windows only.FlashDevelop... Same thing, no?So... I'm sure I'm not the only Flash developer on a mac? What do you guys use?

I was wondering if there were techniques other than the HTML designMode to build an RTE and work around these in a clean manner.. Maybe in Flash, or as a Java Applet or something?[code]....

I'm looking for a in-browser image editing solution to integrate with my project: [URL].. I got it working with Pixlr quite easily and the editor is fantastic .. however it's a hosted service, which means I must be connected to Internet for it to work ..
Is there any other solution like Pixlr but that are not hosted service ?
[Code]...
