ActionScript 2.0 :: Make (safe) Administration With Php And Flash Mx 2004?
Apr 30, 2004
How to make (safe) administration with php and flash mx 2004? don't work MySQL on server!!! But is it safe to make administration with flash? Maybe someone know good sample fla?
I am connected to the Flash Media Server Administration API via RTMPE on port 1111 and I'd like to monitor calls to trace() from the server side actionscript code.
I'm working on some generative art animations using Flash ActionScript which appear much smoother at a frame rate of 72 FPS compared to 30 FPS or lower rates. On a Intel Pentium E2200 Dual CPU @ 2.20 Ghz, Flash Player hardly uses more than 9% during the animations at 72 FPS. The animations are meant to run for a quite short period of time (less than 10 seconds each). Is it safe to use this frame rate?
Since the dawn of time, man has wished for and invented ways to do enumerations in Flash AS3. There's been various problems with many attempts, such as the ability to use a constructor to create new types of the enum (insecure). I believe the following is type-safe at compile time, and safe from being able to create new instances of the enum class at runtime. The main issue surrounds the inability in AS3 to have a private constructor. In this example, the constructor can only succeed if passed the private static const variable ENFORCER, which is only visible inside of the class.
I want to make a preloader for flash mx 2004 that when it finish becomes to decrement another time. I would like to do it to modify the flash preloader component.
I am working on a project that involves basic buttons in flash. They have 2 functions. One is to go to a url and the other is to execute a movie clip within the flash movie.
I dont want my developers to open flash to code the page links (i.e. contact.html). Is there a way to just add a variable of some kind in the GetURL() and have it pull from an .xml file? It can be very basic. There will be no need to dynamically add more buttons, just simply change link names on the fly.
The method used in FMS admin administration reference to access the admin api is like so: http:[url]....but isn't this unsafe ? i mean any one can see the password this way?
The Administration API exposes many methods that allow for monitoring and administration of Flash Media Server. Evidently, the Administration Console provided with Flash Media Server uses this API via RTMP. It must then be possible to receive the log messages that are created when server-side actionscript calls the trace method as these messages are received by the Administration Console. But I cannot find any reference to this in the Administration API documentation.pick up these messages? For example, if you were to build your own administration console, as the documentation welcomes you to do, how would you replicate the "Live Log"?
I have a problem with our FMSI3.5. A few times now we have experienced problems with the administration console/fms webserver. They become unavailable. When someone tries to connect to the administration console or tries to download a file from the FMS webroot the connection fails (times out). Streaming still works when that happens.
A FMS restart fixes the problem. Logs say something but can't really see what is wrong.
I am putting together an simple xml read and write swf for online usage and i need to show each "".xml filename loaded in the bombobox, when you select the name from a drop down combo box i intend in using this xml and populate the fields in my document and have it saved when i click the save button. right now i just need the function i cannot seem to master so far i have the xml loaded in the combobox and when i select any of the items from the combobox it will load the right xml file. so far so good. coz it shows up in my traces.
I've spend the last 6 months developping a Flash (CS4 / Flash v10) game. As I'm now ready to publish it online, I would like to ensure that my actionscript code is safe. Hence my questions are: - Is the CS4 built-in password protection safe? (I guess not given that my actionscript still needs to be executed hence has to be readable for the client) - What are the best options to further protect my code? (I guess obfuscation is the most common approach: which obfuscators are good?)
in my timeline i have two orbs transforming into arrows. it works, i watch it, then i'm like, ok, all good time to save. i save. exit/open, and come to find that my orbs were not transforming. i looked on the timeline and they are not set to transform, so i redid the shape tween, save, exit open and the same thing. so why won't my file save the shape tweens? i'm previewing it in cs5.
--edit--for some reason it works in the swf file, but not the fla file.
I used this video to teach me how to create a safe: [URL]The buttons work when I 'Enable Simple Buttons' (not the text input but the Down image shows) but when I export it, absolutely nothing works. The instance name of the text box is 'input_txt' and it is set to 'Dynamic Text' using the font 'Cambria Math'.Here is the ActionScript for one button:
3.Image Viewer; When the image viewer is opened the image viewer window opens. When images are loaded into the viewer and captions are added they appear to work in Dreamweaver but they dont move in sequence when the buttons are clicked. In browsers the captions dont appear. If the window is closed and reopened all of the images have disappeared and just the image viewer returns. The response I got from an inquiry to Adobe was; The version of Dreamweaver has been discontinued and is no longer supported via phone or web cases. We only support versions CS3 andCS4 via telephone or web. have interoperability between these two programs?
I imported a panorama .jpg file (i.e., several overlapping landscape photos stitched together) onto the Flash MX 2004 stage, changed it to a symbol (graphic), and used Tween to simulate the panorama panning back and forth. The effect looks great when I click on the .swf file in Windows Explorer, but when I created a box on a PowerPoint 2000 slide and linked the .swf file to it, instead of the graphic, there is a red rectangle. The rectangle moves the way the graphic would, but you cannot see the photograph. By the way, I followed the steps at [URL] to link the .swf file to the PowerPoint slide.
i have some problems in integrating with my own flash. 1st of all.. let me define the key things
1st step.. the flash will detect the xml. 2nd, it detect whether if it has people on air on the studio or not refer to the time. 3rd, if its between the [timeid] range ( 0-7) it has a slot but either has a dj or not, if the timeid = 8 , no slot and no deejays here is my core part of problem..
the flash will show the slot language pics background = MC ( session ), the slot name = dynamic text area ( slonem ), and who's the deejays = dynamic text area (djnem), of the current time, if there's no one on air or no slot , the pics background = MC ( session ) will show music only.
i'll include also my xml file and my dummy file for this thing.. also iincluded is the original schedule that working properly.. the original schedule and the dummy is basically different just they read from same xml file..
i just learn xml just a few months back then also with action script with help from my roomate [URL]..
I'm a former Flash 3 user that's desperately trying to get back into Flash with MX (not 2004) and need some assistance.I have been working through some 3D/perspective tutorials lately and have gotten stuck at trying to modify one of Senocular's great open source files from a tutorial covering Shape Movement vs. Camera Movement.
In the field of stars example at the bottom of this page, there is a scaling/easing/perspective effect that I am attempting to get a grip on.I moderately understand all the code that was provided in the "PullThroughSpace" FLA, but I need to modify it to do the following, which is where I get stuck:
1. Instead of duplicating the "stars" MC a set number of times, I wish to have five (just an example number) individual movie clips appear.
2. As opposed to random placement of these clips a la "PullThroughSpace", I wish to be able to define the spots myself.
3. Also NOT having them repeat when brought out of view. Similar to sofake, but with the addition of perspective. Also refer to bit-101's April 24, 2003 experiment.
4. Have buttons that, on release, will take you to a specific movie clip in this virtual field instead of having to click on the clip itself. Again... somewhat similar to the sofake design.
