ActionScript 2.0 :: No Resize And No Right Click Menu For A Projector.exe?

I made a few ecards (.exe's), I do not want the user to be able to resize the window. Is this possible? Also is it possible to not have the flash menu at the top or on right click?

ive followed Senoculars drop-down menu tute [URL], awsome stuff, but it seems the submenu's dont disappear to well when you roll out. ..They only disappear if you click on another menu item or when you click outside the menu.
Basically, I have a button and on click it displays a menu. I want to click that menu a second time and the menu closes. Currently, every time you click the button, the menu reopens. I pasted the Flex livedoc example below. If you click the button, the menu keeps reopening.Now, I rigged it up by setting a var to open and closed, so when clicking the button it does a check. However, if you click away from the screen, the HIDE event gets dispatched, and the menu closes. This messed up the open close var being set.
How could I make this Flex example below show the menu on button click, and then on a second button click, it closes the menu? Take into affect that if you click away from the menu, it closes it.Also, I played around with the MOUSE_DOWN_OUTSIDE event for the button and set the preventDefault, and the FlexMouseEvent event.cancelable is set to false.Changing to a PopUpMenuButton is not an option. I have to much skinning involved.Here is the Flex example:
<mx:Script> <![CDATA[ // Import the Menu control. import mx.controls.Menu;
I'm creating a flash projector file and need to scale background full-screen. The background is a gradient shape. I made it full screen and resized background so width and height is stage width and height but it still won't work.

Is there a fscommand that allow the resize of the projector window? Or that send a kind of event to the window itself that make the window "blinking" in the task bar (like when you are receiving a message in MSN and your window in minimized)?

The menu is like this http:[url]... (the site is in portuguese but it doesnt matter), when I click in on menu the actual menu does an alpha to 0 and the next menu appears using the alpha from 0 to 100 (and some animations like the cellphone going up).Now, how can I do a menu like that, whatever the menu I choose, it does that alpha animation ?
I'm making some executable / projector files in Flash CS5. Using CS4 I was able to stop the menu appearing by using flash.system.fscommand("showmenu", "false");
It doesn't work in CS5. Is it a bug? Or a feature? It's incredibly annoying - how do I get rid of the menu without resorting to an external projector program or without having to use AIR?
I need to remove just the mouse button menu in a projector. The clicks in mouse right button must work. I used this: MENU = new ContextMenu(); MENU.hideBuiltInItems(); _root.menu = MENU; But still showing in Menu Settings... About Macromedia
I looking for and infinite menu (not exactly bcoz it stops on both side at the end) and also stops on the mouse over of the btn. I could figure out something with hover caption effect on it. bt not having like it is there in portfolio of [URL]..
I need to develop, what would be like, a projector screen that the user could pull down, read what is on it, and click to "roll" back up. I know how to do the interaction with the mouse and all, but how do I make the object "grow" so it is hidden when it is "rolled" up and slowly reveals itself like a projector screen would?
i wanted to place some credits item in the right button menu (no links, so no events, just a label with credits). i was looking the contextmenu help, and there is an example of how to add items, disable default items and so on, but i could not find how to attach the menu to the movie (the basic part). i tried both on 'stage' and it tells me that stage does not have a property called contextMenu, so i tried to attach it to a sprite, it runs ok and compiles ok but when i right click on the sprite i get the default menu
var _menu_item:ContextMenuItem = new ContextMenuItem("here goes [code].....
I have an array for my menu and submenus.It works fine, but I have to click again on the menu to close it.When it's open it's completly open it takes too much space.how I could make a menu close when I click on another menu item..this is the code on the frame on my main timeline:
I've got a drop down menu. I want to click a tab to make it drop then, if it's open, click it again to close. I've tried a million variations on the script below:
var btn_grp1:String function main1Down(event:MouseEvent):void { if (btn_grp1 != "dwn") {
[Code]....
This works too (once). So the drop down buttons all disapear again, but it won't re-set. The drop down menu stays up from then on.
BTW i'm not set on this method, it just seemed the most obvious i.e. if menu hidden, then show it, set some variable to down (showing), else hide the menu, set var to up (hidden). Not working though.
still progressing with the rotating menu, I am trying change the values so that I can position correctly but I can't seem to tweak it? as the menu rotates the other images resize and get smaller, I think its somewhere within the script that is doing this, I would like it not to resize as it rotates away from center. but I can't seem to find what is making it do this? is this making any sense, i have been changing these values, but not quite working; values I have been looking at on the circleMenu.as at line 38
I remember when I was a boy, say in Flash MX or something. I got the entire clip to resize and it would make the content in my html page resize. And it was bad. Now that I am a man with Flash CS3, and using Actionscript 2, I would like to resize my flash movie intentionally, letting the user choose how many rows they would like displayed. This would shift the content on the html page downward with each click, expanding the swf.
I'm pretty new to Flash and seem to be struggling with variable scope, events and where to put code within movieclips/main area etc. What I'm trying to do is produce a Flash movie that will allow the user to click on a tool from a selection, i.e. a circle, then click on another part of the screen to place the centre of the circle, with a second click to set the radius of the circle (an alternative would be a single click and drag to place the circle and drag it out to the desired radius.) Once the mouse if clicked a 2nd time, or the drag operation is completed, the circle will stay at the selected radius.
The code I'm using so far to test out the idea is below: _root.onEnterFrame=function(){ _root["item1"].onMouseMove=function(){ d = Math.sqrt(Math.abs(_xmouse-this._x)*Math.abs(_xmouse-this._x)+Math.abs(_ymouse-this._y)*Math.abs(_ymouse-this._y)); if(d<370){ this._width = d*2; this._height = d*2; }else{ this._width = 87; this._height = 87; }}}
This uses a simple circle movieclip, and the above code is placed in Frame 1 of the background as opposed to the movieclip itself. It resizes the circle movieclip ok, but I want to be able to control the resize with the mouse or with a single click/drag.
And just loved the way it looked, anyone have any idea how to get a similar effect using ideally CSS/JS and if not then using flash? Furthermore it would be excellent if you could move to the next slide by clicking on the image itself.I'm also wondering how she is able to maintain height of the images when resizing (unless she is doing it manually which I doubt now days).
I have a Movie Clip configured as a Button and I wanted to know how to make the cursor transform into a pointer (little hand) when it's over tat movieclipBut well that was just not the point of the Post what really interests me is that when I click that MC a Pop up menu appears (another MC) but if i decide not to click any of the buttons in that menu the menu will stay there until I click another button or something and i will want it to disappear if a click it for a second time or something like that.
I know how to make a custom right-click menu with a series of options, but how would I make a menu with sub-options (like the quality option on the default right click menu).
