I would want to print out all the data inside my Datagrid which were populated in flash AS3. The Column's dataprovider is a Number value that gets updated via Binding.Now, without an item renderer the cell displays the correct values.If I set an item renderer, I can't access the values in this renderer.My renderer looks like this, so nothing really do here (for now) but to trace the value, but the value is always NaN.
I have a DataGrid whose dataProvider is an Array of int Arrays (each with different lengths). Since each row has variable size (and I want to display all the data), I decided to extend DataGridColumn and overwrite the itemToLabel function to be able to display the data. The problem is that I also need to display the data differently depending on the int value.
I believe the only solution is to write an itemRenderer, but the only input the itemRenderer.set(data) function receives is the entire int Array. I believe I need either the exact string returned by itemToLabel or the column index of the cell the itemRenderer is for (to basically do the same parsing I implemented in itemToLabel).

So when I do my research, we use the PrintJob or the FlexPrintJob classes.It works fine but when I need to print multiple pages since the data on my spark datagrid is quite long, I can't somehow find a way how to do it.The print output is only upto where the height of my spark datagrid.So in my research, they somehow managed it to use the mx:PrintDataGrid component.But sad to say, they did it with an mx:DataGrid also.how to use the mx:PrintDataGrid along with s:DataGrid.

I have a printjob routine, that starts a new job, then handles the following in a loop for printing multiple pages: 1. update content for every page in a sprite. every loop it's the same sprite. the sprite is visible on stage 2. addPage to Printjob after that sends the printjob to the printer
Now the Problem: On Windows it runs perfectly. On Mac only the last page was printed. the other pages before are empty (white). Her's my code. As you can see i try to print a table on multiple pages. In every loop i only show the rows for the actually printing page:

I'm doing an AIR app scheduler to load data from a .txt. I'm able to trace the data in flash but how do I put those data into flash components (maybe datagrid? Maybe something that can let the user delete part of the entry of their schedule in the scheduler. For example if they wish to delete entry 5 of the scheduler, what should the code for the app be? After displaying the code in the app via flash, the user will be able to delete the fifth entry in the scheduler, or something similiar to this idea. How can I achieve that?

I have a custom dataGrid that acts more like a 2D list (if that makes sense at all). I am dynamically creating the columns and recreating the dataProvider to suit my needs.
