ActionScript 3.0 :: URLLoader And #2032 Error - Submit The Picks To A MSSQL Database On An ASP.NET Server
Mar 3, 2011
I'm creating a flash basketball bracket that I need to submit the picks to a MSSQL database on an ASP.NET server. Every time, I get the #2032 Stream Error, which usually means the URL doesn't exist (which it does). The thing that chaps my behind is that if I trace the url and the variables, then paste that into a browser window, the database updates perfectly, just as I want it to. My code is below. Of course, the tournament is ten days away and I've been stuck here for a week, so if anyone can see what the heck is going wrong, please let me know.
Im getting Error #2032 when my URLLoader complete event finishes firing. What I cant figure out is why. The complete event fires successful (I ran a number of trace statements to make sure it made it all the way to the end of the method with no error) and Im not getting any helpful output when I trap the IOError. Here is the error message:
I have a flash application that communicates with php to save data to nvarchar(1200) column. However when I change to different language support i.e locale, and type into the flash app the letters are good but in the db they are saved as question marks instead of the reall letters.
I have a flash rotators for a website i am doing for a client.I am able to view and use them if i load them off my computer. But as soon as i load them on to any of my servers and try to access them i am presented with an IO error 2032Now i know this means it cant find the files it needs to load so i then changed all the links to absolutes when it was calling for the necessary files and i still get the error. I have also checked all folder permissions and their all good.I am at a loss to wht maybe the problem.here is a link were i just put all the rotators up to viewfile structureMainfolderViewer _html files (for each product)_swfobject21.js_expressInstall.swf _ImageR
I've got records being populated into our database from paypal's Instant payment notification methods...great. now i turn to our flash cs3 app to populate a component datagrid with the stored database data and to my surprise I'm unable to identify any examples on how this might even be done.
How do you connect to an mssql database from within flash cs3 to retrieve data for displaying within a flash datagrid?
I can write a cfc from coldfusion to return a dataset, but overall i'm not sure if i 'have' to learn Flex, or AIR or what to get the records 'read'.
My ActionScript 3.0 bible is vague at best and resorts to php. (which i dont know)
it has been a while before i did something withactionscript again, but does anyone know if there has been some changes about loadingexternal text files in Flash?I tried loading an external text file from a online webserverthat worked fine. But now i wantedto move the text file to a different webserver and i got thiserror:
I have a flash form that need to submit values to a PHP file.I am using in flash: varsToSend.send("subsrcibe.php","process","POST"); The "subsrcibe.php" contains a form that is connected directly to a database.What i want to do is, to load the variables from Flash to this PHP file, and then submit them automatically to the database (The PHP page should not open to the users).
I have a flex app that polls a php script every 1-2 seconds and returns new data. The polling is done with a URLLoader.load call;the requests are HTTP GETs. The app listens for Event.COMPLETE, handles the incoming data, waits for 1 second, then makes another URLLoader.load call.
This process works perfectly for any duration from 4 to 20 minutes. Eventually, a URLLoader.load call fails to return Event.COMPLETE. Instead it hangs for 60 to 180 seconds (depending on which local network I'm using for internet access) and finally returns an ioErrorEvent.IO_ERROR with the message "Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: <mysite.com/foo.php". The app tries to make another URLLoader.load call, but from this point onward, none of the loads return Event.COMPLETE. Also, none of these post-error HTTP GETs appear in the access.log file of my apache (2.0.55) webserver. The app will not work again until I close and reopen the browser.
I've spent several days trying to figure this out! The time until the app crashes appears to be completely random. The problem occurs in both Firefox (2.0.0.15) and IE (7.0.5730.11). I've read that sometimes 2032 errors can be related to caching, but there's no directives (in .htaccess file or httpd.conf file) that sets the Pragma or Cache-Control response header to "no-cache".
I can't tell if the problem is on client or server end. Based on the adobe language references and the forum posts I've read, this seems to be an appropriate use of URLLoader. (In case you're wondering I want the app to respond to events in near real-time. I originally used xmlsocket to push data to app from server. However, this communication is blocked by corporate firewalls, so I need an alternative method)
hey im trying to make a mp3 player and when u click on a play btn it plays that song. but i keep getting this output error "Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. at slide_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()" this is my code
ActionScript Code: import fl.transitions.Tween; import fl.transitions.easing.*; var slidebind:Rectangle = new Rectangle(3, 3, 159, 0); var loadsnd:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("s1.mp3"); var thissnd:Sound = new Sound();
public function getUploadURL():void { var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest(); var url:String = getPath();
[Code]....
My problem is that this request might be wrong, and so the server will give me a back a 400 Bad Request, with a message to explain the error. If the Event.COMPLETE, I can see some message (a response) back from the server in the "data" field of the Event, but if onGetUploadURLError or getHttpStatus is called, it just says that the error code is 400 but does not show me the message associated with it.
The "data" field is undefined in getHttpStatus and it is "" in onGetUploadURLError. On the contrary, in getBaseURL, I get: {"ResponseMetadata":{...}} I checked and I do get a similar response in my browser for a wrong request, but I cannot see it.
I'm trying to streamline my error reporting for internal testing. When I use URLLoader/URLRequest to load a page that responds with the 500 HTTP status code, I catch it with the IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, but can't find a way to get the response body. Unlike with Event.Complete, loader.data (My URLLoader) is an empty string.
Yes, I can use Fiddler/Firebug to get the actual response, but this would be good to catch intermittent/hard-to-reproduce errors when I don't have these running.
Error #2044: ioError no controlado: text=Error #2032: Error de secuencia. URL: send_email.php at Alvaro_Veronica_v0105_fla::contactform_11/frame1()The code from the php file in charge of sending the email is the following: <?php$contact_name = $_POST['name'];$contact_email = $_POST['email'];$contact_subject = $_POST['subject'];$contact_message =
I get this error message but all the code for the sound seems to be in order. It is only played after it is loaded. Error #2044: IOErrorEvent no controlado:
This is the error I'm getting with my code and I believe it has to do with the sounds needed to be played back. Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. at workingg_fla::MainTimeline/stage_EnterFrame()
My code:
import flash.events.ActivityEvent; import flash.events.StatusEvent; import flash.media.Microphone; //line code belowvar container1:Sprite = new Sprite();var container2:Sprite = new Sprite();var container3:Sprite = new Sprite();var container4:Sprite = new Sprite();var container5:Sprite = new Sprite();//random coordinates for container1var corcon1x:Number = Math.round(Math.random()*600);var[code].......
What I need from this code is the following:
a. to pick up the mic activity level, read it, and based on the number put out a line
b. it to be kept to a minute, after the minute the screen is cleared and it plays back the lines and sounds that had been generated.
c. that nothing appears when the mic.activityLevel is 0
d.that when lines hit each other, a sound is made
I don't care if there is no playback, but right now I can't even get the lines to appear and I need the sounds to play when the lines hit each other.
I have an swf that sends info to a PHP file which in turn gets a SWF to FLV converter running. If I try this with a small 1kb swf file it works great and returns the results with in 5 seconds.However now that I step it up to convert the files in which it was intended, files ranging around 2 mbs, I get this error..
I have a Android Actionscript project that I am trying to incorporate sound in, but having a problem that I cannot figure out. I have the sound file in the same directory as my class file and my .xfl file. I am trying to start the music file as soon as the application starts via class reference, but am getting the same error everytime:
Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. at playAudio()[C:pathtoerrorplayAudio.as:9] at networkScores/frame1()[networkScores::frame1:7]
I have a function in my AS3 that frequently calls a PHP file. Most of the time it works but occasionally it fails and throws the error I used in the title. I researched this fairly extensively and started capturing the event in the following manner:
public static function Bar():void { var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest("path/to/file.php"); var requestVariables:URLVariables = new URLVariables(); var loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
I'm trying to include some text to speech function into my flash, the code above works perfectly fine when i open my class in AS3, however it fails when I uses adobe air to run my class below is the error message Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error.
I have an XML MP3 player. The MP3 player works fine and i have managed to add a playlist. The problem i am having is that when the user clicks on a song from the playlist this error is produced
which everything seems fine, but when i implement a slider on a page inside a folder in the root (i.e. aboutus/index.aspx) i get that error when the slider is trying to call the images.I have similar slider animations in pages located in the root folder and in those i get no problem at all, seems it only happens when the page is located inside a folder.The website is done using main.master on asp, maybe the cache or rendering of the website is missing something, hope someone has had something similar or know how to get around this.
I am basically having a problem in submiting the users score and name to the database table. When the user reaches the final score screen they are shown two dynamic text boxes that display there total result and a input text box where the user can enter their name. I have done everything and it still don't work. I know I can receive the data but I don't get why it doesn't submit it to my table. The input text box has a instance name of "playername" Score total dynamic text box 1 "correct_total" Score total dynamic text box 2 "wrong_total" I have also attached an image of my database table [URL].
I am trying to send data from Flash to .Net through POST. When I send a normal String variable, it works fine. But when I try to send an XML as string, it shows me: Error #2032: Stream Error, error.
