Professional :: Embed A Video Which Is Matching Bigger Dimension
Aug 14, 2010
I am trying to create an HTML page that is showing a video (SWF file calling an SFV file). The video is the exact size of the SWF file. When I embed the SWF in the HTML page, I have set up width at 100% and height at 100% Though the result is not the one I want, as I would like the movie to match the biggest window dimension, not the smallest. A good example can be found here : [URL]
I've made this code: Code: var txt:TextField = new TextField(); var frmt:TextFormat = new TextFormat(); txt.autoSize = TextFieldAutoSize.LEFT; frmt.font = "Arial"; frmt.size = 800; frmt.color = 0xFF00FF; txt.defaultTextFormat = frmt; txt.text = "TRY WITH THIS"; I've seen around the web flash websites with text bigger than the max flash dimension of 72 pt. How can I make that? I've tried with the code above but it seems that flash set the text size to 72.
making a simple game with video stills matching a running audio track.my audio is an MP3 i built in GarageBand. all works well in flash, but when rendered to QT, the audio and video go out of sync, and some video drops out too.have put all audios on their own layer and streamed them all too, set settings in Publish to 64, but still have same problem
I am streaming flash video and the dimension of the video is 1280 by 720 (same size as the stage)
but just before the video streams, there is a quick flash of the video (about 320px by 240px) at the top corner of the stage, and then it plays the videos at the correct size (which is 1280 by 720) .... a quick flash is the best way I can explain it.
This is my code:
function clicked(event:MouseEvent):void { var video:Video = new Video(); addChild(video);
[Code]....
is there anyway I can stop that quick flash of the video .... so when I click on the button, it just plays the video, at the correct size?
I would like to embed an external video into Flash. the video is located on URL...I saw on youTube a lot of code for embedding the video. How exactly do I put it into flash.I am guessing I have to use the UILoader, but then there is no room for all the code?Where would I put it all in flash/
I want to be able to record 5-30 sec "green screen" segments on my video camera, extract them from the background, save it as DECENT QUALITY flash that can be embedded in my company website (small motorcycle dealership in Sweden) so that I can reach my customers in a better way. I have seen a website that does this and truly want to learn it. I am willing to buy whatever software is necessary.
I can use flash ok to build stuff, but I usually just build a flash presentation with movieclips and buttons all contained in the one file. I have never had to put my creations onto cd-rom before. So now I am looking at a CD-rom and seeing how someone else has done it and I see that all the .swf files are separated, as will as sound and video. I thought the only reason to do this would be to be able to access and change for example and mp3. without having to open the flash file, but I am thinking there are other reasons?
I am creating a video gallery off of the demo action script 3, video gallery, that is shown on this site. I have updated the XML file that contains the link to the thumbnails and videos to the appropriate url. When I test the project out, I get the following error:
TypeError: Error #1085: The element type "video" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</video>". at fvg::FlashVideoGallery/fvg:FlashVideoGallery::onDataHandler() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/flash.events:EventDispatcher::dispatchE ventFunction() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent() at flash.net::URLLoader/flash.net:URLLoader::onComplete()
The issue I'm having is that I have a main "wrapper" 100x100 (but it could be any size) - it's just there to hold and display whatever content, swf, gif, etc we may want to throw into it. As long as the loaded content doesn't have 3D animation like rotationY going on, it displays fine. But when it does, the 3D "anchor" properties (like projectionCenter) of the loaded swf inherit those of the main timeline (i.e. 100x100 (main) vs 728x90 (loaded)). If I change the dimension of the main "wrapper" in Flash IDE to match what's coming in - the 3D behaves fine, but I won't know what the dimensions of the content will be until it comes, so I need a way (if there is one) to dynamically alter the main "wrapper" or root display object through AS. Stuff like "this.width = loader.width" or "stage.width = loader.width" or "root.width = loader.width" etc doesn't work. Flex has the hBox and vBox
I have a web page in joomla and I embed a video window from UStream that allows my users to see or hear our transmissions. Every time I load the page in which the embeded window is, I receive this error message:
[Code]...
I posted this message before but I notice it was no longer posted. I have no knowledge of programming so I am lost.
I have a Mac and a PC - I have apple specific stuff on the Mac, everything else on the PC. My Adobe software is all on the PC. I like using the PC - bigger screen than the Macbook. Problem is that Adobe is effectively forcing me to use the MacBook.
Now I can use Flash to build cross-platform stuff from my PC, but I have to create all the certificates and profiles on the PC. If I want to do IOS development on the Mac I have to generate new certificates and profiles.
So switching between using flash/Flash Builder on a PC and native development on a MAc means continually regenerating certificates. If I had a desktop and PC latop, I could install on both, but not a PC and a MacBook. I am totally fed up with Adobe for this stupidity. If anyone knows differrent about the need to regenerate everything according to platform,
I recently contributed a soundtrack to a flash movie. The canvas size of the document was 550x400px, and we tried to export it in near-HD format to various formats. This resulted in either no video (DivX/Xvid export) or in a real bad quality so that even a screen capture would produce much better results. My question is: can it be related to that the canvas needs to have at least the size of the desired export? The person creating the movie assumed/stated it would easily resize on export since it is vector material / high res images, but the results are rather ugly
would like to make 3 versions of the same site, and then have them redirected depending on the user's monitor resolution. Because of this, I need to make some of the movie clips smaller, and some bigger. What is the best way to do this. Some of the movie clips contain text.
i want to minimize window to not-fullscreen (i ment restore down (icon in the top right corner betwen - and x) browser window and ajusting size of window manually over arrows in the corners of the window) and retain background picture full size (i need to picture proportionally follows screen minimizing). The site is [URL]
I'm trying to get a video (flv) or an swf video player to work on Facebook walls, however no matter what I do - facebook posts the raw fbml and ignores the code.
Opened CS5.5 > Chose "Air For Android" which gave me a stage dimension of 480x800 default. I then created my app.
I am using a Droid Bionic and testing my app on it. It will not go to full screen, regardless of how I am holding the Droid. When publishing, I clicked "Full Screen" and Portrait, Landscape, Auto Orientation, etc. I tried all of the publishing options, yet still there is white screen on the eastern and southern side of the screen.
I have a picture on the main screen, and it fits perfectly within the 480x800 dimmensions when playing in Flash. After publishing to an APK file and testing it on Droid, I have that white space as mentioned, as if the stage size grew larger than the picture / app. I also shrank the stage(480x800) dimensions to to (340x600) , but still the same amount of white space. When I move the picture to the right a bit, and publish, it shows the white space on the left hand side of the stage. This can only mean that when I publish, the stage size grows but everything on the stage stays the same.
Can Someone tell me how to embed a link into flash video (FLV, F4V, SWF) and, if clicked, have it spawn new information on the same page as the video is playing on? I'm having trouble getting the media encoder to cooperate with my cue points.
I'm working on a school project where I'm going to simulate a live television in Flash with some videos. What I'm not able to figure out (due to my very bad Flash-knowledge), is how i can get it to work with embedding the videos inside the swf-file instead of using FLVPlayback.[url]...
is it possible to embed video into swf because i want video to be loaded on beginning(with loader) instead loading from external file and having glitches... and also want to be able to loop it.?
What is the way to embed a FLV video on a web pageAre there available SWF ready to use and easy to customise that would allow a streaming of the FLV from our site to the client browser? In this case what would be the wrapping code to run and setup that SWF?
I need i way to embed youtube videos, without any reference. I need something like this [url]... Here the only thing is the youtube logo, no external click, and no title.
ive embed in my timeline a flv video, but i cant find the smoothing property in the ide (like for pictures). how can i do that? i dont wonna load it dynamicly from server. is there an actionscript code to load and smooth it form library?
