Thumbnail To Open In New Window?
May 20, 2010I need to find out if its possible to click on a thumbnail and the image opens up in a new window? the image I have is not uploaded onto the web or anything like that.

Sep 21, 2003I followed Senocular's XML portfolio tutorial and everything is working fine, except I want for each thumbnail when you click, for it to open the larger pic in a javascript window. I got it working, almost, the strange thing it's opening the same large pic no matter which thumb I click on. It seems to be loading the same javascript window also, with the adress being the html file where the swf file is. The code in the html file is this:

Jul 13, 2009I work with 3d animation. Im have a problem with a personal website Im doing, I have a link in a button inside a flash movie to open a new window and play a youtube movie:

This works fine in Firefox but in IE it doesnt work, I then change the /v/ in the youtube link with /p.swf?video_id= and now I have the window open showing the small youtube thumbnail of my video but once a click play, nothing happens, I check it and is not loading anything.

Air - Flex Open Window Behind Active Window?

With this code, I would expect window1 to open behind the main app window and, in 3 seconds, window2 would open behind window1. But if you execute this, window1 will open on top of the main window and window2 will open on top of window1 and the main app will retain focus. This seems like a bug in the Flex. If so is there any workaround for this problem?
Professional :: Separate Two Thumbnail Images That Open Same Picture?
May 22, 2010Ok the fourth page of the website is a portfolio page with 16 thumbnails (4 across 4 down) which opens a larger pic on the same page to the right.
I can't figure out what to change. The first and third thumb down seem to be linked and open the same image. Same with two and two down from that and so on. I want to separate them so each open their own image. If I edit it in PS both thumbs change...
I click several times and well thumb one and the third one down is:

May 25, 2010iam using a template, i designed everything alright but need to know how to click a thumbnail to open a file in the root directory.The XML file for the thumbnails looks like this currently and everything in the flash movie work and the explorer window opens to he link:

Professional :: Flash Thumbnail Gallery - Making Window Clip Inactive After Click?
Dec 4, 2011I am an artist trying to remake my website...I have a picture of a window on my homepage. The window is a movie. When clicked on, the window lights turn on and a grid of thumbnail pics appear. Each thumbnail is a movie clip. When a thumbnail is clicked on, the movie plays and a larger image appears over the window. The problem is, the window is still active underneath the large image, so if I click on the large image, I am really clicking on the window movie clip underneath, and the thumbnail grid disappears-starting the window movie clip over. How do I make the window clip inactive after it is initially clicked? Also, I would like the larger images to end their movie clips after another thumbnail is clicked, so that there aren't large images piled up on top of each other.

I want to open a swf file in a new window. I know how to load them inside the current window, but that won't help. I searched the web and found: getURL("name.swf", '_blank') but that does not work. Thinking it may be as2, and my file is as3.

Jul 27, 2009I have a flash slide on my site. The slide has next and previous buttons to either move to the next slide or the previous slide. Each slide is only an image. When you click a particular image it takes you to the page specific to the image you clicked.
My issue is this: When you click the image, it opens the page in a new window. I would like to have the window open in the same window, but having issues figuring out how to do it.
The flash is controled by an image.xml script. I've added target= "_blank" to the xml, but the URLs are still opening in a seperate window. I didnt create the flash, is it possible the issues lies within the .fla file?
