view my video: http://media.*************.com/v/test/video_player.html
After clicking the play button, the video starts to load, but won't play until it fully loads. I would like the video to start playing as it is loading.
i have an HTML page (in folder Subdirectory 1) and i embed 2.swf (in folder Subdirectory 2 (both folders are located in Parent Directory)).2.swf loads 1.swf from Subdirectory 1.In 1.swf i have a video player( which loads video1.flv from videos folder) and if run individually it plays without any problem.
If I run the html it loads both swf's but the video does not play because of a "Stream.NotFound" exception. This arrangement of files and folders is a requirement for my project.
i found this turotial on video player but it only plays if the user click on the play button.how can i make the player to automatically plays upon loading?
Working on a 'video heavy' Flash site that has an intro video. While the intro video is playing, assets(images, flv files) should be loaded in the background. The problem is that, while the assets are loading, the intro video play gets jittery. What can I do to make the video playing smoothly while still loading assets? It might be the single threaded nature of actionscript, not sure. After using @Demian Brecht suggested method, I noticed that the culprit might be Memory allocation. As the FLVs load the memory usage goes up by ~266MB and while the videos are written to memory, the framerate drops to 1FPS.
I have created a web application which records users video from webcam and stores.Once the user recorded his video he can previwe it.All the functionalities works good in local but not in internet. In internet when i preview the video it takes long time to play.some times it stops in the middle. Is there any way to play the video smpoothly or show a loading animation when it buffers.
For the current site I'm working on, I need to display an intro video while other ssets(mostly flv files)load in the background. The issue is the framerate drops from ~30 to about ~1 because of the loading. When the videos loadinto memory, it grows by about 266MB~ and until it's 'written' the framerate drops. Is there any workaround/solution that will allow me to play an intro video while the assets load intomemory ?
The stop button plays as expected. The play/pause button plays as expected. The issue is when you press pause which will cause the play button to appear, then press stop. the video automatically plays and it shouldn't. I have bolded the control button script for convenience.
Why does my swf's skin referenced by a simple component FLA work locally but NOT live? There's no AS3 in the component FLA. It's just a one-layer component referenced to the the FLV. When I test locally, IN FLASH CS4 ONLY, and click on "Animalia - Verse From the Zoo" the FLV and skin load and the video (source FLV - "Sequence01.flv") plays. But the same thing live only loads the swf for the FLV file area but NO SKIN. Try it yourself, please:Has anyone had this problem and knows the solution? All files are in the SAME FOLDER on the web server. I've tried every URL and path combination I can think of on the website. I've tried referencing the whole URL.
Yet whatever path combination I try, either nothing happens, or I just get the FLV box but no skin. Which is what's happening now. Publish settings are set to Flash Player 10 for all files. And I've tried the component SWF WITH and WITHOUT the fl.video package (import fl.video.*. No difference. Why does the skin load and play locally but not live? It's all AS3. No AS2. And it does not seem to be a "publish settings" issue as far as I can see. The relevant code in my API is:
var AnimalFLVLoader:Loader = new Loader(); AnimalFLVLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN,fAnimaliaVOn); Animalia2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, fAnimaliaVOn);
I have a project where I am bringing in one video with a cue point at the very end with the name of "End." I'm trying to have the next video play when the first video reaches that cue point. I keep getting this error: 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MetadataEvent. Here is the relevant code I believe:
I am wanting to play a number of movie clips and flash produced video clips. On the main timeline I have a frame for each clip I want to play. In that frame is a flash movie that contains the video that I have embedded onto the timeline for the movie. The filesize for this project is massive and I am struggling to work on the file. I want to be able to play the video files with the playback component in each of the frames where the video was.
I was wondering how I can delay (2 seconds) a video to play in a Flash Video Player? I know one way is for me to add blank frames but I would like to know some other options.
I have created my first flash video and wish to allow the visitors to play the movie themselves instead of having the movie play automatically also have a stop or pause button too.
I want to play smooth streaming video from IIS using the flash video player like e.g. jw flash player instead of silverlight player?Which video format should I use in this case? Can flash then play e.g a video via smooth streming encoded with microsoft encoder?Do you know some alternative video players, that combines flash and silverlight functionality (selected per java script) to use with flash and silverlight?
I have 1 flv with only 12 seconds of audio. another flv that is 10 seconds with only video another flv that is 2 seconds with only video Lets assume both video files are as long as my audio file. Which actionscript commands should I look further into to: 1. play audio simultaneously with video 2. play the 2 second video smoothly/seamlessly after the 10 second video is over as if it were a 12 second vide 3. if my audio or video were mp3/wma instead of flv would I run into trouble 4. I imagine a flash media server would be mandatory if my videos were other formats like avi/mpg and had to encode on the fly
I need to play the 3 video files in a video player. The files should execute one after the other in the flash video player and the files will be allocated dynamically from database.
I want to play FLV video in a flash video player, and at the end of the buffering I want to access the data (video data, or buffered file) so I can manipulate it. For exemple in a ByteArray format so I can save it to local disk... With the NetStream and NetConnection I can play the video without problem, but I can't find a way to access the data. using the URLStream, I can download the video file [URL], and I can access the data I want but I can't play it?
Is there a way to play the URLStream, or to get data from the NetStream?
Or may be, I can access the cache of the browser to get the bufferd data played by NetStream?
I just updated to CS5 - I'm working on a custom video player. It works fine embedded in a web page both locally and on the network. It works fine in the debug player. However, when I test it in the authoring player I get a NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound error and no video. I have tried setting the Local Playback Security publish settings to both local and network - doesn't find the video either way.
It used to run fine in CS4 in the authoring environment.
i want to know if it is possible to play a video via flash player, when the video is located on different server's mysql. for example: i want to play video on [URL] which(video) is located in [URL] mysql
What is technical difference between buffering and loading ? Say, i have a video, which is showing loader bar in progress. Then what's happening exactly ? Buffering or Loading ?
I'm working on a Flash file here and am having a bit of trouble getting it to do what I'd like. Basically, the file has 3 sections:1) The main content and a Play button (I've got this made and working)2) The video itself that plays when you click the play button (I've also go this taken care of)3) After the video plays, I need to to go to another frame or scene that is different from the first. Is there a way to do this? I've been Googling for a while now but I keep coming up empty.
Continue to struggle getting my video to work online. I've worked with the Component Inspector now to get the path problem solved. Now the HTML file plays from my jump drive and from any hard drive. I used Dreamweaver to load up the folder with everything in it (works greatoff both the jump and different configurations of hard drive so I believe the pathproblem is solved). It still won't play though. I must be missing something...driving me nuts (Flash Pro CS4).[URL]
I have created a DVD, in Encore, with links to PDFs. Of course, when they click on the link to the PDF, it tells them to play the disc in their DVD-ROM player. For the computer side of the disc, I have created a Flash file that looks exactly like the DVD menus, except it will open the PDFs. When I put the DVD into a computer, it always opens the DVD video first. I would like it to open the Flash exe, first. Opening the DVD video will probably confuse the user since it will tell them to play the DVD in a computer DVD-ROM player, which they already are playing it from the PC. I have an Autostart file. Is there something else that I need to do, to get the Flash to play first, or is this a setting on the computer?
I can view my flv.video that's called when I test my movie locally. When I put my files up on another server I can't get my FLV video to play. I do get the component skin to show with the scrub bar moving like an old "barber pole" (horizontally) but no FLV plays. I think I've tried everything to get this to work. I must be missing something.[URL]..
My flash project is a video player. There are library items and .as files that help compile everything that it needs.I'm experiencing something very strange. Here is what is happening.
1. When I test my movie in flash it works great. The preview image appears, the movie loads quickly, and when I click play on either the big play button or the control bar play button it starts immediately without hesitation.
2. When I compile the video, I can open the generated HTML file with either IE or FF and everything works the same as above - flawlessly. Here is where the problems begin...
3. When I copy the HTML from the generated HTML file and add it to my page where I want my video embedded problems begin! First the preview image and the big play button does not appear until the movie runs and finishes (I click on the play button on the control bar to start the movie in this case). After the movie runs they appear. It's obvious my file paths are not the issue since I see the movie and the preview image (eventually), right?
4. The movie will not load in IE until I click on play, I just see my preloader spinning with 0% loaded showing. That stays until I click on play, and then just like FF at the end of the movie I finally see the big play button and the preview image. I tested in IE 7 & 8.This also can't be a local development issue because I uploaded the files to our server (I'm in an intranet) and saw the same phenomenon occur. I tried different embed/param code found on the net as well hoping that would do the trick, but no luck there either. I'm using flash5 and all standard out of the box setings.
