I am new beginner, is it possible the covert flex data grid to CSV file format with out use any backend (java,php ..) file?. Because I tried with out use bankend. is it convert or not?

I'm currently working with the OLAPDataGrid component and got stuck at a relatively simple task: I want to style the last row of the grid differently from the rest, so my cell item renderer needs to know whether he's rendering the last row with content in the overall grid, including those rows currently not rendered because they are outside the visible grid space. AdvancedGridListData's rowIndex property only gets me the row index of the renderer relative to the range of visible grid rows, i.e. when I scroll down the grid, a data item with an index greater than 0 gets the rpw index = 0.

I am trying to drag and drop hierarchical data in the same advanced data grid, and I would like the data provider to updated when the ADG is updated. (I want to be able to save and load this tree, so it is important that drags and drops are saved.)

The sample app has an ADG showing hierarchical data as well as flat data. The first column of each datagrid shows the rowindex of the underlying data.
If you rearrange the items on the left ADG, the row indexes become unordered. If you click traceTree you see that the data provider is not in order.
On the other hand if you do the same on the right, the row numbers stay ordered even when the objects move around and if you click traceFlat, the data provider is in the order shown on ADG
My goal is to have the data provider order match the ADG order for the left grid which is displaying hierarchical data.
I tried with flex and java in the backend. In this, I am able to upload files till 100 MB using remote object (blazeDs) where we will read the file as byte array and send it to the java method. If the file size exceeds after that, then I get the run time error in IE.

My data grid is displaying stale data, rather than the real time data available in it's data provider (array collection). I've tried refeshing the data in the collection, but that has no effect. Below is my code, does anyone see what could be the problem?

I am looking for libraries or solutions to convert a Microsoft PowerPoint file into a playable Flash file. The constraints are that I must be able to do this from Java, a webapp, that is running on a Linux-based server. I have been scouring Google and have only come up with two options: iSpring SDK -[URL] Option #1 is looking like it will be cost prohibitive based on initial conversations with the vendor (i.e. no price listed on web site). Option #2 seems non-ideal as it will require installing additional dependencies of OpenOffice and X11. This seems like too much overhead for what should be an inline solution.
Everything else I could find was either written only for Microsoft .NET or was just a PowerPoint plugin exporter. Any other solutions out there that are being buried by Google SEO? Can someone, maybe, convince me that the overhead of Option #2 really ain't that bad?
Update: I should clarify that I'm not opposed to reliance on a native library as long as it will compile on CentOS or, preferably, has a yum package available. I should, also, clarify, that I'm not opposed to a "for pay" option within realms of reasonable.
I have three conditions for three possible values for a variable. In the mxml code i would like to display a different datagrid for each instance.Is there a shorter way than writing three boolean functions for each possible value, and then using the boolean value returned by the method as a parameter for whether each datagrid will be loaded?

I found the following XML - Flash quiz template on the net and I was wondering how can I adapt the XML doc to pass CDATA instead of "Value". The code is currently sending the "answers" values into Flash as value, instead of values I will like to type the answers inside of CDATA tags. At the group node level, other than the gorup name I want to be able to show data in the rest of the cells ( calculated data ) and I am looking for some dataRowBound event or similar to be able to hook some data in it.

Here using function of focusOut, I am calling the web service by sending the data which comes from the datagrid through focusOut function. Now I want to call the web service when the user changes the column data and presses keyboard key 'Enter'. Here I can call function but the event does not carry datagrid's data to the function being called.
