I am going to have 2 flv videos on an HTML page and a footer link at the bottom that will pop up the terms and conditions with a video in that (silly yes but bare with me). Is there a way to stop all SWF videos once that link is opened so that video is the only one playing?

We have a little app in use with a customer where html links are generated dynamically at run time. The link text and url are put together from a couple of txt files that the customer regularly goes in and edits. These links have recently stopped working.
Of course, you would think the immediate culprit is the customer who has made a mistake in the txt files. But the the same vars from the same files are used to generate a couple of buttons on the page that DO work. And everything works when I export it from flash. It stops working as soon as it gets to a web server.

Choose a category in any of the lists and then any of the subheaders that appear. Most have a link in them. It's in Swedish but I know you lot are smart enough to navigate a flash app without understanding what you're clicking on
I have a function that has a site pop up when the user clicks on a button. This works well except it goes until the frame that has the command stop(). Is there any way to have this function continue on, even when that frame says stop? Or is there a different command besides stop that allows this function to work up to and including that frame?
The stop() command is on frame 90.
I tried gotoAndPlay(88) and it gives the user the mouse hand, but nothing pops up.
i made a video player with the xml playlist , it's a video channel indeed, it's embed swf in html. but my boss would like me to put a link on the web, when user click the link, it would directly play the specific video inside the video channel. is it possible to do it without server side script but javascript?

I have a scenario that I get an string with html data, this is not just html data it's an email (outlook) saved as an html file and dropped in the string.Now this string needs to be formatted to an html document and should be a clickable link in a datagrid. So when I click on the link, the HTML document should pop-up and should gave me a nice HTML page that is readable for the normal users. View 1 RepliesI have a movice clip of a container "traveling" down a conveyor belt. I duplicate this movie 30 times (to simulate 30 items moving down the line). The code I'm trying is below.My problem. When the 2 duplicate clip item is created - I want to pause the duplication, (stopping items on the conveyor belt) play a movie clip (next to second item to explain what has happened), then continue duplication, stop duplication again at eighth item, (do similar to #2) play another movie clip - then continue all duplication until I hit 30. At which point they all start falling off the conveyor belt.

When clicked, the flash movie stops and another animation plays.Specifically Im making a flash movie about the evolution of geometry for my math class. Animations are going to be playing, and when my teacher clicks the Info button, a screen pops down with the related information about the scene playing.

I want to make an instructional video with various panning, cursor movements, and info box popups. I'm going to attempt to do this video in all actionscript and expect to use the Timer class and Tweener for all the tweening. What's the best way of approaching a project like this? Can Tweener be stopped in between its tween in order to pause?

How do I add an HTML link in the XML so that it displays properly in Flash? Does something need to be added to the ActionScript or is it all done in the XML?

I recently made a flash file with a fps of 24 with a motion tweened oobject which moves from below and stops when it's already on the upper part. the only code i added is the stop(); on the last frame. When I Shift+Enter it, the motion tween works flawlessly. The problem is, when I Ctrl+Enter it, the motion tweened object suddenly pauses three times in the middle part.
All images included have "Allow Smoothing" checked.
