Does anyone know the actionscript to keep the main SWF (which is 800x600) center of the screen in Fullscreen mode, while two other Mc's inside the SWF sit in the bottom left and right corners, like in this site...?

I'm working in a xml videogallery and I'm using a video component... The problem is that when I go fullscreen the video object loads in the top-left corner of the stage (is a 800x600 movie) tough I publish my movie with 100% x 100% dimensions.

As you can see after the first fullscreen the stage remains in the Top Left corner. Is there any way to make the stage return to the center? I need to do it when I return from fullscreen to normal mode... or.. what can I do? I tried to put the gallery inside a MC and center it but still fails cos the video object loads in the registration point of the MC (like in the first example I've provided)...

First one to send back a working file gets the invite code.Ok long story short I purchased a fullscreen xml gallery from FlashDen that is supposed to resize. Here is the link to the demo...Well problem is it only resizes the images based on their width and not their height. (Panorama would show fine but a tall portrait would just go off the page) You will notice in that demo how the resizing is fixed to the side of the painting and not the bottom.
Well, to me this seams useless because I really need every user to be able to see the full pictures no matter what screen resolution they are at and no matter how they adjust their browser window.Believe me when I come posting on threads it means I have spend many many hours trying to figure it out myself...In this case I have spent 30 hours trying to solve this in the last two days....Now I am over the deadline I gave to my client/family member and am still at square one basically.Also note I have figured out how to make it so that it fixes to the bottom and thus shows the tall images in full but when I do this it is no longer centered in the page.
I am really tired and worn out but would love to work with someone's advice to make this a reality.Attached is everything you would need. However, I�d like there to be a Fullscreen button on the playback component, which will allow the user to toggle the video fullscreen.I cant, for the life of me, figure out how to do this with various settings�it should be easy! View 3 RepliesWhat I've done is created a "fullscreen SWF" by using ActionScript to stretch a movie clip (yellow rectangle) in the background to fill the whole browser frame. The navigation is positioned in the upper left using ActionScript also; when the user resizes the window, positions are adjusted so the nav always stays in the upper left. External SWFs are loaded from an XML file into a blank movie clip on a layer that is between the yellow background and the navigation (adapting the kirupa XML Photo Gallery). Here's my problem: I want to be able to create full screen backgrounds for these external SWFs so when they are loaded into the main SWF they cover up all the of yellow background of the main clip. Also if the user resizes the window, I hope like the main SWF, the background on the external SWF can also resize to match.
If you press next twice to get to item three for example, I want to be able to stretch that orange box to fill the entire background. You'll notice if you resize the window on the third item, the orangle rectangle will adjust, it's just not correct.
I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having.

I'm making a flash site, and i want it to load full browser with a "fullscreen"-button to go fullscreen. The problem, however, if i resize, the site will keep the same width-to-height ratio...But if i'm testing it using the flash debugger, everything resizes just correct...My html:

I now want to draw a rectangle around this drawing.
The dimensions width and height are correct but the loaded drawing is not at 0,0.
How can I get the actual relative location of the loaded shape?

I found the kirupa's tutorial Launching a Centered Pop-Up Window very suitable to what I want, but there is a problem. Only one link works. When I made the second link, an output error appear

I have been using code I recently found on Kirupa called Displaying a Centered Pop-Up Window.I have this feature attached to 6 buttons that pop up windows to different URL's. The window gets stuck on one size and completely ignores my attemps to change to a different size... like it's locked into my first code of 600 x 300. Once it moves to that point I would like zoom slider to zoom keeping that coordinate in the center of its zooming range. How do I import a .swf so that the entire thing--all 50 frames of it in the case of the animation I'm importing--is centered on the Flash Stage? (I am using CS5). When I import it now it's automatically positioned in the upper left corner of the stage. And when I try to select all frames and align it to the center in the properties manager it will only center one frame of the 50-frame .swf at a time.

However...when i tried to use the same code in my own personal site, the pop up just won't load. Currently, i have a main timeline that loads an external swf into a clip called "emptyMC". i am applying the button code and the timeline code to my external swf...not my main timline.

The code is in 10 different buttons, each loading a different content for the same popup window. In Safari, if I click on the parent window and then click on another button, the popup window will come back on top of all other pages automatically, but it does not work with Firefox. In Firefox, the popup window will stay behind the parent window. I'd like for the popup window to be always centered on any screen.
Why when I view my flash files in the flash player or by using Control+Enter or F12, are they never centered so that I can see the whole page at once? Toggling, by first zooming in and then fighting to push and pull it the right way, is not only a pain and frustrating, but it also decreases the quality of the image. I know what it looks like when it's clear, but if I need to send it to someone else who doesn't have the program and only the flash player, they are not going to be able to view the image at it's best. Does the problem have to do with how the image is centered on the stage when I save, the file size, what?
