ActionScript 2.0 :: Sending User An Email Via Php After Clicking On Submit

I am using flash mx I have a form, with a confirmation page that comes up when the user clicks on the submit button.
I want the user to also receive an email confirmation.
I have a php file someone gave me to use for this...
my problem is, when the user clicks on the submit button, it calls the actual php file.... so I know I have coded it wrong in flash..
here is my flash script;

Creating a MULTIPLATFORM standalone CDROM,I'm desperately trying to, when user is connected to the web,let him send me an email by clicking on a button.This button uses the AS getURL("mailto...) and opens the default mail program.(a mail page with email address, subject...)BUT this AS ONLY works with swf nested in html page. (you can check it out!)In my case (standalone projection with exe and hqx), this script will not work.

I have used the kirupa tutorial on a flash email form and it works GREAT! The only thing is I want to have required fields that need to be entered in for the form to send. If the user doesn't enter anything, it will ask them to in order to send the email.how I can do this or adapt it to the kirupa tutorial code?

I have a question which I think should be fairly simple but my AS knowledge is rather poor so i'm wondering if someone could help me out or point me in a direction to find out how to do this...
I'm playing around with a game, (skinned it and slightly modded it) and at the end I want the player to be able to enter his email and hit a "submit" button and have his score emailed to me? Is this simple?

I created a email form and what I want to do is add a coupon after you submit your info.What I'm thinking is people fill out the form they hit the submit button info gets sent and then a page opens up with the coupon to download.

When submit is clicked. It just says waiting for server connection. The email is never sent. I think the problem is with the php.

I am comfortable with PHP, so have done the server side code in PHP. but I can't seem to get the button on my form to trigger my code. I've studied many tutorials about this, but none of them are close enough to my own situation for me to make this work.Here is the PHP code from my file called, 'contact_process.php':

I built a Flash email sender, its very simple, it just sends all the variables in the fields, no cross checks or nothing.Problem: here's what the end-user email looks like:

We have a sort of game, generated with Flash in AS3, on our website where the reader is invited to eliminate the California Budget Deficit. It's connected to a database where we keep track of the responses and print them in chart form and post the results on the website so everyone can see the most popular budget items the readers want to cut.

We've had many, many requests to have an option where the reader can get a copy of his/her choices that he/she can print out. I've thought about having a movieclip pop up that shows those choices (and that would be simple enough), but in addition to that, what I'd really like to do is have a way to download those choices to the reader's computer as a text file or maybe have a "Print" button on the movieclip showing the choices that would print just that movieclip. The database we have wouldn't really be suitable because it's set up to simply show which were chosen and which not, and the names of the submissions and choices are variables that don't really mean anything except to us when we put it all in an excel file.

I am basically having a problem in submiting the users score and name to the database table. When the user reaches the final score screen they are shown two dynamic text boxes that display there total result and a input text box where the user can enter their name. I have done everything and it still don't work. I know I can receive the data but I don't get why it doesn't submit it to my table.
The input text box has a instance name of "playername"
Score total dynamic text box 1 "correct_total"
Score total dynamic text box 2 "wrong_total"

I need to have a search box, and when the user types in a term and hits submit, I want it to go to a URL and add "srch=<whatever is typed in the box>" to the URL address. In other words, if you type in "Cattle dog" as your search term, I want the URL to read "http:[url]..... This should be so easy. I have a TextInput box called "search_txt" and a submit button called "submit_txt".

I am creating an online video for a client. I have it set to play the video in frame 1 and then go to frame 2 once the video has completed. What I'd like to do is have it automatically send me an email once the person has reached that 2nd frame. Is there a way to do this? It wouldn't need to have any kind of form or anything. Just a simple message saying "Fred has watched your presentation".

Has anyone been success in sending an email from within Flash MX? I am trying to launch the email client & being able to add a subject & body information. I have been trying all kinds of combinations with no luck
Also, I have an input box labeled recipient so when I launch the mail client I want the recipient email address to automatically appear in the To line.

I have followed the tutorial and created Flash file to send emails. But getting the error: "Message not sent". Is it becuase my web server doesn't support aspx or what?

I wish to post Variable Data from a Flash form to an email address. The whole Form is a loaded level 1 in the main SWF site in a HTML Page, so everything is flash, and all I want to do is send the Variables to an email address, I can do this fine via HTML but wish to send the Variables from a locked off Flash file. I have a separate html page that does this with a php script,reating that php file which is just a form that allows users to enter a passcode that I provide them which will then simply link them to an external html page. Since I don't know about php, I am thinking a possible work around would be to have a text input box which would allow a user to enter (passwordA) then click Submit to load (pageX.hmtl) or they could enter (passwordB) and Submit would load (pageY.html)

I have a game where at the end there is a "send to friend" feature. Normally I would collect the user's name, friends name, friends email, then make a call to a php script, pass the information and let the php handle the rest. But is there a way to handle this entirely in flash? Does AS3 have an emailing feature?

I have looked all over the Internet for help with this.I have tried numerous video tutorials and for some reason I can't get it to work. I have created a form in flash cs4 AS2. It is a contact information form where the user fills out their information and sends it.I have created a the form in a movie clip (I have also tried it not in a movie clip) with the form components inside that movie clip.I have given each component on the form an instance name.The form has:
Full name (with instance name=name)
Company (with IN =company)

I would like to take a "screenshot" of the stage within flash and send it as an image by email. I have tried AMFPHP and the method described here - [URL]. This is saving a jpg of a movie on the server, but no email function. I know how to setup a very simple php email file but without attachment. So my problem is I have no idea how to "connect" all those parts together and make it so that when you click the button in flash it'll send the jpg by email directly.
