I have 10 text fields set-up (not sure if these should be dynamic or component), below that I have 30 separate CheckBoxes setup. When a user clicks a CheckBox, it places the value of the selected CheckBox into the first TextField. The second CheckBox selected places that value in the second TextField, and so on.

This PHP contact form works well and is very simple. I have one checkbox in the fla file. However, it keeps displaying 'No' in the email message field, whether the checkbox is selected or not. It should display 'Yes' if the checkbox is selected, and 'No' if the checkbox is unselected.Here is the PHP:

I want to have each text identified as marketLocation1, marketLocation2, etc up to 150 and I wanted to use a 'for loop' to place the value of that XML node into each labeled textfieldHowever, the only issue is... each individual text field is buried inside a button so that the button displays on mouseover an associated XML fields data.Meaning, I mouse over a dot on a map (button) and it pulls up a statistics balloon about that location specific to our companies needs. So... : if I put codice0.text = ..., codice1.text = .... it's working, but when I am trying to do a this["codice"+contor].text = .... it's not working.... Is this because we are inside another this[] ... the one for the button and when I am referring to this["codice"+contor] the flash see that I want to do something at the button and not at the textfield...
I have the values load from a file, however the problem i am having is that it isnt selecting the values loaded from the file when i check on the settings. am i using the correct as2 code for it? i even tried using setValue, that is listed in the flash livedocs.

I have a Flex List which is databound to a Array. My problem is that when I reorder the List using the built in dragMoveEnabled, the values are reset to the original values.I assume I need to somehow do a two-way databinding but I am not sure how.

I am using datagrid and added 3 columns to it in flex project. Data is provided to each column by using itemrenderer. Itemrenderer is checkbox for each column. Name of columns are col1,col2,col3. I am trying to use the tutorial on this site to create a simple form submission to my database via ASP. I couldn't open the sample - I am on MX. But I followed the steps on the webpage.My variables are not being passed. All of the Response.Write statements in my ASP page are coming up blank.So I have the 3 input text fields. I specified each with the same variable name as used in the tutorial (fname, lname, email, message). I also used those same names as the instance names but that didn't help so I've deleted it. So currently there are no instance names, just variable names.And then there is a submit button with the code from the tutorial:

Thats all that is in the movie.The ASP page comes up, and the database submission completes, but all the variables and database fields are blank.
i'm trying to send out some input form variables top a php script via loadVariables() and it's working, but the only problem is that flash also sends out all the html font information along with the form data. so instead of getting something like "Name: Phil" the php script gets:[code]is there a way to keep this from happening in flash or do i need to start getting fancy with the php?

My objective is to pass in a bunch of variables from my XML file that I can use anywhere in the flash project.
I have a flash file that I am trying to debug. It loads a second flash file which it passes data to, and then that data is sent to a server. Unfortunately the data isnt coming out how it should.
I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to see what data is being passed to the embeded flash file from the original flash file. I need to make sure the data going to it is correct.
I'm trying to catch when a second is passed using getTimer. I don't want to use setInterval, because I'll need to pause, and unpause it. So.. here's my code:

View 2 RepliesBasically, I have an XML object which is pulling layout variables, and then those variables are being passed to another XML object which is sourcing some video thumbnails.And its actually working fine, but only after some tinkering. It seems that the passed variables have to be redifined in some fashion within the scope of the new function.It might be easier to explain with the code:
