View 1 Repliesso encore has the 'export to flash" feature. it seems like it might be a good way to go for me becasue it prodcces a flash player with all my chapter markers in place. i have a couple questions though
1. it is limited to 1280X720 - i would have to do custom flash development to overcome that?
2. how is the resulting videos that are called by the flashdvd.swf served? i mean if i have 1-2GB of video clips are they served one at a time when called by the player?
3. is there any way to get the flashdvd.swf to fallback on iOS and maintain all the funtionality ?

I work on a project with Adobe Flash CS4, consist of several sequences with animation, script, sound ect. Yesterday I try to Launch the movie and I got around to indicate a message saying: That I was unable to load all the sequences,'' then'' that my file had been damaged'' Following this I was worried and I was getting a check in my paper to see if my file was still there, and although it's not as if he estab delete it, it does not appear anywhere in my pc, put in my flash off is to remain open and on which I can still modify items so that is not blocked. View 2 RepliesAfter hitting next on this animation you can see there appears to be blank areas on the animation. If you mouse over them you will see buttons appear which is their "over state." When I publish the animation and preview it in Adobe Flash CS5.5 all the buttons are visible and work correctly. It is only in the brower (chrome, firefox, safari) with up to date Flash Player that is is not working. This is happening in a number of animations I created originally in CS4 last year, and am updating them as CS5.5 using AS3.

I watched some videos at Youtube , about "Open Screen Project" (that Adobe leads) . And Adrian Ludwig(at Flash team) was using HTC HD2 and showing the Flash 10.1 at phone. All was fine (i.e., videos played well; e-cards displayed well) up until a few days ago. Now, videos won't play (the screen remains black) and e-greeting cards won't open. I have re-installed FlashPlayer several times. Shockwave Flash Object is enabled.

I downloaded and installed the latest Skype software today and noticed immediate problems. Skype was not responding and the Flash Player plugins on both browsers began crashing. I uninstalled both Skype and the Flash Player plugins. I then restarted my computer and reinstalled the Flash plugins. Functionality was restored to the Flash plugins in my browsers. I then reinstalled Skype. It was immediately non-functional and my Flash plugins started crashing again.I am now at the point where I have reinstalled the Flash plugins again and functionality is restored. I know if I try to install Skype, the Flash plugins will crash again.
After I updated Adobe flash player I noticed that videos I streamed did not play correctly.A video will begin to play but part way through it will freeze. It will indicate that it is buffering but it never finishes buffering and never continues to play, even if I refresh it.This occurs for several sites such as youtube, megavideo, and wisevid. This occurs for every browser I have tried (Firefox, IE, and Opera.) I also realized today that now iTunes cannot not download video either. When I try it says that parts of the files seem to be corrupted. I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash several times but that has not helped. I have been trying to emulate a drag n drop program from flash and math site dragdroptour snap to location tutorial.It uses a placed variable set at the beginning of the script and updates it with a function used elsewhere. For some reason my version of the code will not update this variable could someone tell me where I've gone wrong? I've done this before in AS and think I used globalvars but I know you cannot do this in AS3 and I'm trying not to go down that route as I know it's bad practise.Its the paper1,2,3 vars that won't update with the release to drop functions.[code]
