When tested my email window opens twice.
There is no target attribute used at all.
Also ?subject= don't work. Subject field blank in email popup box.
Using Flash 8.

this is probably a simple issue, but i'm new to actionscript and am pulling my hair out trying to get this email button working. I have a simple button in flash 8 which I have labeled "email_btn." I am using actionscript 3.0 and in the actions layer I have this code:

We have a Flash banner on the home page and each slide has a link to some other page. Everything works fine, exept in IE.
Basically what happens is that if you click on the banner the first time, the link will work fine and bring you to the new page. However, if you go back to the home page again, then the banner does not even present a link anymore (it will still work fine as far as the banner rotation is concerned - just no more links)..
So I have built a contact form out of AS2 and PHP. PHP 5 is enabled on my server, so that's not a problem. I think there is a slight error within my code somewhere. What happens is once online, you fill out the form and hit post, it goes to the "error sending email!". Below is my code so you can take a look at it. 1.) I'm trying to put an email hyperlink in part of my text, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I tried the code snippets, click to go to web page but instead of an URL I typed "mailto:email@adobe.com" but when I tested it, nothing happened.
2.) How do I link to the other pages from within the website that I'm working on? Again, I'm a total newbie and I'm only familar with Dreamweaver.
3.) Lastly, how do I bold the typeface??? The text tool properties do not show any bold, italic, or underline icons, and the hotkey to bold is the break apart command.
4.) When I test my movie, how come I can't scroll down and see the footer area of the SWF??

The ad on the bottom right of the screen (the one with lightning flashing) has an invisible button in its Flash file (CS5) linking to [URL]. This file is imported as SWF in Dreamweaver CS5.
The hyperlink works in Firefox, but not in Safari. Maybe it is just my computer.

I have a movieclip called Inquire.fla.In this movieclip i have a form and a button.The form is made up of 4 text fields.... name, email, phone, and message. Each has been given variable names. I converted the 4 text fields to a movieclip, and gave it the instance name "form".I back out to the main scene, click on the form movie clip and give it the actionscript:

The movie Inquire.swf is an external movieclip that is loaded into my main Index.swf. I upload the Inquire.swf, Inquire.html and email.php onto the 1and1.com server. When i view my webpage and fill it out.... absolutely nothing happens.
i tried following the duplicate mc tutorial, however the part on putting the code in a frame to get it to duplicate on load doesn't seem to work for me

Ive been trying to get an email validation working for my form. It works great locally within flash preview, but not locally via its html window, or live. Im not a coder & am self taught to the code will be pretty shabby! (trial & error type gal!)
