I have purchased the HTML version of Flippingbook from the site below but have encountered various problems, in that it only supports Flash 9 +actionscript 2.0. Also the facility is problematic with zooming swf files. Great for flat brochures but not able to deploy flv video within swf files which is a shame.

I've looked at the other flip-book programs and editors out there, and none really give the customization that my company wants.I have something working, but the page scoping seems to be off. The pages will turn back and forward with a button click but they flip out of order. However, it all runs fine with no error when the user clicks on the pages themselves. Instead of loading images or SWF files as the pages, I need to load text (simple, unformatted text)instead from variables passed to the swf file.This way I can use it just to show text from a database.Ideally my project also needs to allow the user to modify/save the text displayed, too, but I won't worry about that until I get the basic display going.Is this possible with a flip book?

Using Flash CS3, AS3. Trying to create a popup book effect. Have made some progress. Now what I'd like to do is play regular Flash timeline animations from within the Papervision movie clips.For example, the popup book opens and vector animations play as regular flash timeline animations from within the Papervison movie clips. Is this possible to do? I've read until my eyeballs are falling out but can't figure out how to play a simple timeline animation from within a Papervision movie clip. I've made a simple keyframe animation in a Papervision movieclip that is used as a Plane.

I recently was sent the source to a set of Actionscript classes and libraries which allows flash devs to track faces in Flash by use of a computer's webcam. This is pre-written source that I am wanting to embed into a game I am designing so that when the person leans left or right, the character on screen will move left or right respectively.
Here's the problem, the face-tracking is working, but the video that is being pulled in from the webcam is reversed...it is not a true mirrored image. I'm assuming that there's a line of Actionscript in my code that needs to be modified so that the video is mirrored rather than be displayed reversed.I did some research and found a few solutions, but I haven't been able to successfully implement them...I don't know how. I've tried but I'm guessing I've inserted these lines of Actionscript into the wrong spot within my Main class. Here's the couple examples I've found:

I simply want to make an Interactive scrap book for the school children so that when they click a button(or even Text) on the Home page, that page turns and plays the corresponding video. Im not really sure on how to go about this. I dont want a application where you have to flip the pages or whatever i want it to be a static page but it just flips open like a book.
