Professional :: Does ComboBox Component In Flash CS5 Support Arabic

I've heard that Adobe Flash CS5 now comes with native support for Arabic (and other right-to-left languages).I haven't confirmed this, but I have two questions:
1) Does Flash CS5 actually natively support Arabic without needing to use the text layout framework URL...
2) If so, does this native support extend to the ComboBox component?
I'm working on a form in Flash that uses the ComboBox component, and I need to verify whether this support is as holistic as I hope it is.
I have developed a video player using Flash 8 Professional and the FLVPlayback component. Recently I have been testing a few 720p .mov files converted to FLV by FFMPEG running on an encoding server. I am noticing that these files do not play back in my video player. It appears that they do not have any audio attached to them but when I play them in Adobe Media Player the audio is there.
Is this due to the FLVPlayback component in Flash 8 not supporting HD videos? When I test locally the video picture plays with no sound but when I run in a browser the video freezes and does not play. The progress bar appears to move as if the video is playing however.
I've created a "Poster Maker" in Flex. The text part of the poster is written inside a TLF-based RichEditableText component. Users can choose the font for the text using a ComboBox which lists all the device fonts on the computer.
All works well, until Chinese users try to apply a Chinese font and it doesn't work. Here's a screencast of the problem (just over 1 min long). In it you can see I can write Chinese in WordPad and apply the two different Chinese fonts I have on the PC without any problems. When I switch to the Flex app and try the same it doesn't work.I'm at a loss as to why this won't work. The change event of the font picker ComboBox looks like this:

Where selectedItem.font is the fontname of the font and is what you see as the label in the ComboBox.
I managed to do this on another project with a friend but it was in AS3. Now i'm trying to repeat the same trick in AS2 and..... it seems to be harder than expected. Basicaly, it's a dynamic text box with instance name crawl_txt in witch I managed to insert a horizontal scrolling effect. (layer actions, and layer crawl) Now the really tricky part:
I need: 1 to import them through a xml file ass a continuous RSS feed. It's a news crawler in essence. I edit manualy the xml file with the latest news. But I also need a combobox to be added, from the latest info I got, in witch it's important to have 2 categories: expired news and latest news. Latest news it's logically are loaded by default. But the second category it's important to contain all the news I had and are no longer active.
I have RSS reader it's work fine with english but the problem is arabic text don't display in RSS reader just english and about to display arabic text in ScrollPane component that component reader info from xml file and display it?
When I add a ComboBox component into a Sprite, the height of the container is larger than it should.Here's what I mean:

UPDATE:I've overwritten the configUI method in a ComboBox subclass, but the measurements are correct all the time. Why does the container height change to 100 ?
I know that CSS component support was disabled in CS3. Is this still true for CS4 (AS3)? I have a set of component skins that I bought real cheap, but I bought it knowing that it was designed for Flex (came with a .fla, .mxml, and .css) but I was hoping there was a simpler way to skin my components than sitting down and replacing each individual part of the component (plus the new skin graphics are named remotely close to their intended usage so I'm kind of clueless what goes where).
EDIT: I should have mentioned this is for the Flash CS4 IDE...
I have simple combobox component in flash cs4, I try to add and event listener like this

never get called even if I have the component in the stage manually or via AS, but if I add a listener to MouseOver it works, why the ADDED_TO_STAGE event don't work, also I have a problem with the textFormat style if I use
mycombo.setStyle("textFormat", tf);//suppose tf is a TextFormat object
doesn't work too, but if I put that line inside the MouseOver event it work's why??
What is the Adobe Contact Support Phone # for flash? I searched and tried this number. Flash isn't list as one of the options for help in the extentions.

I am looking how to escalate to Adobe Tech Support but paying 29 bux an hour for some recruited college Grad that knows to little doesnt suit me.
Bought an HP Quad and it had Win7 home so poorly installed, configured, overloaded with junk, would not backup, when it did backup and create a repair disk they wouldnt restore. HP's preloaded Win7 build both IE8 and Firefox were crashing with both BSOD and Browsers not responding and dying. Firefox never responds to anything, Microsoft indicates is an add on problem but I think it can be a flash issue although it occurs much more on Wiin7 (ANY Version) for 32 or 64 bit. I have been screwing with this for a month screaming at Microsoft and Mozilla but its a waste of time.
Microsoft forums are polluted for Win7 browser BSOD and Browser halting then crashing posts, there answer is disable add-ons. I cant surf the net without add ons so that is a stupid reponse of finger pointing, giving appearance that Msoft, Adobe and Mozilla dont communicate. No company will take ownership and drive the issue to find the root cause and where ever that cause is make them fix it, Msfot, Adobe of Firefox. so what do ya do?
The HP PC with horrible preload of win7 finally died and killed the build but Microsoft was equally useless in helping me repair that preloaded junk even though the OS is theres. I BOUGHT real disks because HP couldnt support the mess - HP couldnt support chewing food let alone the mess they place on PC's with 90% asian parts with old drivers. Eleven escaltions starting on DAY 1 of ownership of a Pavilion. Hundreds of crash dump error reports sent to Firefox has still gone unresponsed, as they employ the 5th ammendment ,method of silence without support and Msoft remove all add on is laughable but proves HP. Firefox and MicroSoft wont assume responsibilty.
This sucks as all three gloat and boast about a HIGH levels of support and awards won for support but it is all myth, and laughably a lie but I still want it repaired. 28 years in IT - retired I feel qualififed to make the observation.
I never attempted to contact Adobe but I get redirected after seeing the warning about 39 bucks an hour to answer a phone for a freeware add-on.
Does anyone know of have a escalation path to a real person at adobe or department beause tthis site redirects from the ASK Adobe Support link meaning I cant even mail a question to then, Already a BAD sign but the driver is free, but they wrote, and millions are having issue so where is there support - Why bother writing the addon if people cant even ask a question.
So does any know if they support the flash add-on without charging? a Glitch they might want to know about is flash 10.0.0.1 shows in Win7 Event logs as version 0.0.0.1 and I have logs showing that an addon report from the DEP (Data Execution Service) saw an add-on go to a non executalbe memory region whenthe only add-on I have is flash.
Google for IE8 Browser Crash 566,500, Win7 Browser crash 1,500,000, Firefox crashing 587,000, Firefox flash crash 1,420,000, Adobe flash crash 1,820,000, are 4,615,500 google posts found for one issue and I know there are more than that failing but Im sick of the whole thing so adobe is my last gasp. Please respond if you have a fix or path to escalate to adobe.

Why doesn't the Flex framework's mxml language support a constructor for components or accept constructor arguments for components? It's as far as I know not possible to declare an ActionScript object in mxml if it takes constructor arguments. I'm curious about the reason. Is it a design choice by Adobe or related to how declarative languages work? For example, why not allow:
I am working with classic (non-TLF) dynamic text in AS3. My problem is that there is spacing issues between the individual letters. Has anyone else ran into this? I'm using an embedded font with Arabic support
I have created a flash aplication and need to make a HTML version for people who dont have flash, I found this method on the internet [URL] but dont wish to use it as i dont want seperate pages and the delay caused by 2 loads and the time taken for the script to activate. I would rather detect the absence of flash anddisplay the HTML if and only if flash is absent If the flash was a JS i would just use the noscript taghow can this be done for flash?
I am wanting to use the ComboBox Component in a Mobile App. Thing is the scrollbar is way to small.Is there any way to change the width of the scrollbar on the ComboBox either in code or by skinning it? I tried just adding some width to the scrollbar component by clicking into the component and changing the width,but it did not work correctly.
I am using Flash 8.Say I have 3 datas in the ComboBox - "one, two and three". We find that in SWF "one" is seen in the ComboBox even though the user hasn't selected the data from the ComboBox. "one" has become the default selection in the CoomboBox.I want the ComboBox component to be empty when swf is run.But I don't want the empty thing also to be shown when the dropdown is clicked.

I have a simple ComboBox onstage, with 5 options in it. Each one has a textual label, and is assigned a numeral "data" in the Component Inspector (1,2,3,4,5). I am working on a quiz application for a client. I currently have an array that as the user goes from one question to another, it holds the question number if the user answers the question incorrectly. At the end I have the results of the array displayed on a dynamic text field.I was wondering if there is a way to display the contents of the array at the end on a comboBox or list component. And, is there a way to make the items on the comboBox or list component be clickable so that the user could navigate to a different place on the project (like the section that explains how to answer the question correctly).Right now i have the array being created at the beggining:var questionsArray:Array = new Array();I have acommand so that if the question is wrong, add the number of the quesiton to the array:questionsArray.push(" #1");and I display the results of the array at the end:
I've actaully got all of this working.All I need now is to make the comboBox text HTMLtext so that I can use the HTML tags to color the text different colors or bold them.It might be important to mention that I need to change only some of the things listed, not the entire list. So if my list on the comboBox is "item 1", "item 2", "item 3", "item 4", I only want "item 1" in bold and colored red.
