I have flash file on right side of i make 4 link for example:
-state 1
-state 2
-state 3
Now i want to send some value to php file by clicking any one of these state if anyone click on state 1 value should be send 1 and onclick on state 2 value should be send 2 and so on.how can i do this in flash .

My native application has this such a scheme system set up, however, the app is going to have to be called from an air for ios (flash) application. My question to the stack is this, how would I call this url from actionscript, and (if this is not possible), is there anyway I can do this natively from inside the air for ios application?

I would like to make an input text field in flash as2. What I need is when the user write down an answer it will direct him to an html page I created. There are 3 answers and 3 pages, so they will write down one of the answer and when they will click "enter" they will be redirected. I have created a small application which takes it's information from an xml file and displayes it in a news ticker which is a flash Flash AS2 application. tell me the correct way to format the link tag in the xml if there is a standard when wanting to state a target for the link? The xml file currently looks like:

So what I want to do is to be able to open the link in a taget=_blank window however adding that to the end of the url does not currently work.I have added a comma and also tried using a space, space and encompassing in quotes but none are working.
I'm working through Dreamweaver fairly well, and I'm now wanted to import Flash buttons I've created myself into Dreamweaver for a website I'm currently building, and it's here that I'm finding the problem. I have been to the 'get URL Function', but it says something about needing to link to a web page? But my problem is how can I link Flash Buttons to a web page, when my site is still being developed and not published? Do I have to publish first?

View 3 RepliesI am testing a FLASH animation ad that has links to a website.When I click on the links, it opens firefox but it doesn't go to the link!I have added the links and the file names in the Adobe Flash Settings Manager, restarted several times, restarted in Safe Mode and it still does not work!I cannot find any information on this. My coworker also tried it and it does not work for him on IE on Windows.HOWEVER, If I have SAFARI open it works fine, and If I drag and drop the .swf file into either browser and then click on the links it goes to the web page.

View 1 Repliesso i got my page set up pretty much, to sumarize its mostly 3 divs. one with a flsh banner, one with a flash menu, and the other is the content div, with html in it. you click on a link in the flash menu and it loads one of six different pages. but i came to realize that every page has the same banner and menu in it. it would be nice not to have to reload them every time. is there a way to just load different html in the content div by clicking something in the menu?

Someone made me two image flash viewers. This one is an accordian style. When you rollover each image I want to make it to link to a album in this gallery. (The albums are selected in the quick selection on the left.)
Keep in mind I want these to be separated so I can throw the accordion into a regular html page then the full screen gallery into another separate html page.
Im not sure can this even be done without combining them completely?

View 13 RepliesI have to send some specific xml to a php script (from flash AS2) that then sends out sms message based on the xml. I have been given the xml by the sms sender and have tested it via their live demo and that works fine. The problem I am having is getting flash to send this XML.
The sms sender states that it needs to recieve the xml in the following format: The XML Document should be posted uriencoded, with a UTFâ8 character set as paramaeter 'xml'
