when i run a swf file from HTML/Outside(i mean to say from folder) and click on the button (button calling xml file which has link in it), i get a adobe flash popup error/msg. As shown below....my codes are as follows

I need to close the popup(adobe flex), non modal window if I click on the parent page of the popup. I have to do the out of focus check and then do some validation before close the popup. So what I was thinking that is there any inbuilt focus check event or do we need to create custom event for that?
View 1 RepliesI have an an array of objects. I populate the datagrid from the array. The nmber of columns in the datagrid is fix i.e.5 and the first column always shows serial number (0,1,2,3,4). I have a link button called 'CLEAR' in the last column of the datagrid.

I would also like to use the Tweener external class, or the flash tween class would work too.

I didn't know how to bring a link in the datagrid. So used the Text control to display the "View" label. Now If I click this item, "View" in the datagrid, I want the Pop up function, i.e.,defectCommentsPopUp() to be called.
I have a flex application mxml file with 3 tabs.the first tab having the link button to select the value in the 3rd tab. Suppose, i have a link button in first atab. And the 3rd tab contains the combobox with values:"basic", "advanced". by default the vaule is displaying "default". When i select the linkbutton on the first tab, the "advanced"should be displayed in the comboBox on the 3rd tab. and the problem is , when click on the first tab link button , at that time the 3rd tab is not initialized. View 4 RepliesI've installed the latest debug version of Flash player plugin for Mac OS X. Diagnostic page [URL]that the version of Flash plugin detected is debugger one. I'am also able to debug applications using Flash-builder debugging tools. But no runtime error pop-ups are shown during browsing.I've tried to uninstall the player using this application [URL] and reinstall Flash player again, but no luck.
UPD1: I've created additional user account and found out that error pop-ups are displayed successfully when switched to that account. So it's likely user-profile configuration issue.

im a digital artist (beginner) and i want to make some flash animations..i downloaded the flash cs3 (after seeing some comments that cs5 it not a big deall) from adobe but when i tried to install it i got an error so i download it from another site but i got the same error after extracting the files and tried to install English:: setup has detected an error and can not continue. I'm using after effects to render the video and every time I render it I delete the audio?
I came across the following javascript code that creates a fullscreen pop up window from a rollover button (html/javascript) that appears to be unaffected by popup blockers in IE (or at least on my computers it's unaffected). However, when I adapt the button code to actionscript for use with a flash button it starts to trigger the popup blocker. figure out the correct actionscript to make this work without being blocked?

When I open internet explorer I get a window that says adobe flash player installer/uninstaller 10.1 r82 has stopped working. It will not load the homepage or if it does it open it I am unable to navigate away from it. I have tried to deactivate flash but that didn't help either. View 1 RepliesI published an app to Air 2.5 (.air) from Adobe Flash CS 5 and afterwards also to Air Android (.apk) Since then I receive this error message if I try to publish as .air again:
Error creating files. Icon file is missing.
I tried to delete and recreate the folder and pathes but the error still appears.
Why do these numbers produce different results. Leading zero-trails shouldn't affect the result!!! GRRR!! :P

Just a minute ago my .fla file can be played. But after several minute when I added movie clips and animations. It just crashed down I guess, Adobe Flash CS3 stop working. I'm using Microsoft Vista operating system. I have an antivirus subscription which is McAfee with automatic update. I think it's a virus or what? I dunno what to do. I got a long way already with my animation on my file. When I will start from the very beginning it would be a mess and it will consumed a lot of time.Four to five attempts of testing the movie:

that is one of my problems,
and that i cant link a button to a eksternal website. i have 4 buttons that shuld be linked, but i cant write any codes on the button itself like they have showed me in tutorials.
