I want to know about how to set pdf page settings to print properties dialog box?
For Example,
If my PDF page settings is Landscape then Layout automatically shows Landscape not Portrait. and If my PDF page settings is Protrait then Layout automatically shows Portrait.
When i use flexprintjob in Flex,it always popup a printing dialog which is printing driver.How can i skip this dialog and print directly?

View 6 RepliesI'm trying to make an online swf where the user can manipulate an image and in the end print it (for simplicity let's say I got a booth and people use my computer one after the other).
My problem is that the printer dialog that pops up when I wish to print really ruines the user experience. First of all I was wondering in it's possible to disable the print dialog box and make the app to print from the defualt printer (or some other way to choose the printer).
Secondly I thought about exporting the MovieClip I wish to print through dot net save the file and then print with javascript. The problem here is that beacause the file I save is not a vector type (I save as jpg or bmp) the print result really doesn't look good.
got a touch screen project that runs full screenwith scaling (so the same project can also be disributed on CD andweb without manually resizing everything). I have a 3d wall and I'm passing images and linking through xml. Now I have added the description, but it just displays in the middle. I don't know how to align it. On mouse over, the description of that photo should display there itself, but it is not displaying in the middle (for all the photos). Instead of displaying on the each photos when the mouseover, it displays in one place.

View 1 RepliesIn my web app, I would like to print a web page via a real, physical printer using Flash.I want to do this so that typical page headers added by the browser (eg. the URL and "Page x of y") do not get added to the printout.Perhaps I could generate a PDF and pass it to the SWF, or perhaps I could just send raw HTML ann CSS to the SWF, and then I could call some .print() method via Javascript against the SWF. So, 1) is this possible? and 2) is there a library (on GitHub perhaps) somewhere that would let me do this?

Ok, this is a function that used to work...so I didn't check it for a while...and I did not edit it from when it was working in any way...but now the print function does not produce a page from the printer...when I click "Print View" the print dialog box comes up, and I can choose my printer, and when I click ok, there is a tooltip near the windows clock that says document sent to printer, but the printer never does anything...I have tested this in several printers and several computers...I have also tried to output to a pdf...and it allows me to choose a file name to save to but it never creates the file...

I have movies loading into various levels (not my choice, but the head designer set it up this way) and the client decided they needed a print function. I am trying to avoid adding a print function to each swf since there are a lot of them.I have a function for printing, but it only allows me to define one level. And often we need to print multiple levels because elements are stacked on top of each other. Here is my action:

This is not working to place the mc correctly on the page. This is all the Adobe help provides. Also Googled and tried different variations but no success.
I have used printjob in my project for printing. I have a stage with images, shapes and text etc in printing group. While printing, it takes some two to three minutes to getting print a single page. The Print Spooler window shows that 60MB for each page.

It collects all the data fine but it does not print it out correctly, it prints out all the variables in the php in one link. For example: If i click the facebook icon, i will be taken to http:[url].... This also happens with the other icons (Youtube and Twitter).
I am having a problem with Flash.I get the message Movie not loaded if I right clich where the video should be.I may have set the hardware acceleration on/off by mistake, but I cannot get the Settings manager to open to check it.I am running Feroda rc14.If I go to http:[url].... and right click in to white area at the top, I get the message 'Movie not loaded' and the flash version - 10.2.159.1. This is where I should be able to open the settings window.Where does Flash store that info on my PC? How can I check it/change it without Settings manager?
