Actionscript 3 :: Flash 10 3D Making Text Blur

I got a Sprite that I'm rotating with rotationX & rotationY. This converts the clip to 3d object. Which makes texts in it blurred.[code]...
BUT, when I'm adding another clip to this sprite, that has z=400 (or any z). The texts just won't get crisp, the other clips in my sprite that I have been rotated seems to still be 3d even if i set:this.transformation.matrix3D = null;
I've even tried to removeChild on the clip with z=400 when rotation is 0. And also tried setting matrix3D = null on that clip. how to "get rid" of the 3d of the clip with z=400? Or do I have to move that clip with z away from the clip I'm rotating (other things will mess up =)?

browsing the macromedia site of the day yesterday i noticed and effect i had not seen before, at least to my knowledge. notice the scrolling text in the bottom left. now grab the bar and move it manually. notice the blurring effect? any ideas on how this is done?

I am making some buttons that enlarge and then fall back to their original size when you mouse over them. The font used is a pixel font and this blurs when you do the mouse over. Is there anyway you can make them so they dont blur?

I'm working on a simple chat application in Flash / AS3. There's a Chat input box, a Send button, and a TextField where the contents of the chat input box appear after the message has been sent.By default, when you add text to a TextField, the text appears at the top, and works it's way down to the bottom. I would like to do (something close to) the opposite: Have new messages appear at the bottom of the TextField, and old messages move up to the top as new messages are added.

3)text is tilt or rotation (8)
4)arabic text starts from right to left(opps eng)

I'm working with actionscript 3 and have a trouble. I need to write player where users will see text on the front of the movie. The text is text field of type "Dynamic text". The problem is that I need to make this text object transparent for mouse move and clicks.
I tried:
.mouseEnabled=false;
.selectable=false;
when I click on it - it does not pass clicks through it.

how I can have my swf fill the entire browser (as in publish settings 100% w & h etc) but not stretch/distort the text and images in the swf.
There is a site [URL] that does this. It fills the whole screen yet when you resize, the objects do not become distorted.
I may have the wrong approach with publish settings width & height 100%??

My image is a 72 dpi png file with sharpen effect , when i use [Import to stage], the image imported in the library get blurred( eye-realizable), but the image on the stage keep original quality(not blurred).I have try change library item properties ( lossless png..etc),import again but no thing different.
How can i make the library item have same quality as the image on the stage?(when i drag library item to the stage it's still blur , except the image on the stage create by [import to stage], also tried with jpeg but nothing different)

Just finished exchanging email with one of the Adobe Support reps. It turns out that one of the most widely advertised features is bugged and is only halfway functional, namely the "Blur" filter, available from the Filter panel. Does anyone of You know how to effectively use the blur filter without crashing the whole application? Adobe admitted that the problem persists and there is no fix to it in CS3 in Windows XP/Vista. I get an impression that i paid the full price for an app only partially functional...

So i have several items on a page, each of which tweens out or in depending on a mouse event. So far i can do Easing on them when they are going out/in but how do i also set up a tween so that it blurs as the come in and out (motion blur) like the ones in the motion presets. I want to accomplish the same motion preset settings but with Actionscript.

Basically you click and drag a place on the map. The mask is a copy of the red line shape, and the blue part is a circle masked using the red line's copy. What I want to do is apply a blur filter to the blue portion so that it looks like a highlight on the line (I'll change the color to white then). The problem is when I apply a blur filter, instead of keeping solid edges on the line it blurs the mask... or something. I'm not totally sure what I'm missing here.
Here's the code for the mask at the moment:

I am very beginner in flash. I want to load an image, show a cursor over the image and on mousedown I want to blur that actual part of the image. When I try to create a tween for the blur, so it will blur into focus, the tween just wont work. I go to frame 130, keyframe, add blur filter, create clasic tween. But when i go to frame 131 it instantly pops into focus instead of going along the tween time span to blur in gradually(I have the next keyframe at 160).

i have a photo snapping app built in flash. I notice that any movement results in a lot of motion blur.. which makes the photos kind of turd. Is there a way to digital reduce the blur? potential camera setting in actionscript??

I am trying to animate a navigation menu so that when you roll over an item (say "Contact Us"), it moves up a bit, and the rest of the items blur.
I allllmost have it working but there is one piece of code that is no longer working (blurTween.onMotionChanged) since I put it into a for each loop in order to go through the array and apply the blur filter to each item.

I have designed a cylinder shape in flash. The edges of cylinders are coming out and also they are looking blur. But the interesting thing is when I see the cylinder on 300% it is clear and lines are not blurred.

I have a simple text field that is read only and it's very long, so I just want to use a scrollbar on the right-hand side. I dragged a UIScrollbar component to this text area, I lined it up, same height, and even named the text area as the scrollbar's target, but when I compile the swf, I get a blank scrollbar next to the text and 2 other scrollbars off the the right of the text!!! I also tried adding the scrollbar via code with the same results.
