I checked the fiddler and found that for the first request authorization header is present but for the subsequent requests which is requested to load the .js, css & images the authorization header is not added. This is the reason I am getting the auth dialog.
Is there a way to add authorization header to the subsequent requests as well?

Currently I have hardcoded api keys in the code it self but I want to use a properties file/config file where I can put such things and use anywhere I want in the application.

This result is obtained after the php files queries a database. The database contain other information too like (height, gender, education and address)Now i have a DataGrid (having two columns: NAME and AGE) and a Form below the DataGrid. I have displayed the above mentioned xml data in the DataGrid using the dataprovider="{userRequest.lastResult.User}" attribute.
I now want to use the itemclick=itemClickEvent(event) so that when a user click on a row of the DataGrid other information related to the clicked row like (height, gender, education etc) may appear in the form which is placed below the DataGrid in the GUI. For now my itemClickEvent, look like:

May 4, 2010I have three lists and a button. Depending up on the selected items in first two list and after clicking the button I have to display the items in details list.
-In first list I am displaying names of employees
-In second list displaying managers names
-Then if I select one employee name and one managers name then after clicking button corresponding employee and managers details should be displayed in the third list.
The problem is with initializing the details list and dynamically changing it.

1-loading a xml file (using HTTPService)
2-find the sound address in the xml (Using E4x)
3-load the sound

when i run it with adobe flash builder or generate a release version, it works fine. but when i use the flash file in my html file it's xml loading process doesn't work!
after some try , i realized that if the swf file be in the flash builder workspace directory, it work , else it doesn't work.
note that my OS is Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit
what is the different between the workspace directory and usual directories?

Nov 19, 2009We are writing log files to File.applicationDirectory and want to clean out old log files. The question is how do you delete files out of that directory? When I try and delete old log files out of this directory it gives a security exception. Is there anyway around this? I know you are not supposed to write to File.applicationDirectory, but we are writting are logs there anyways.

May 5, 2010Problem: An XML configuration file needs to be loaded at runtime and be ready when the application's createChildren() gets called. At the latest, because configuration values are needed to properly initialize child components. Preferably, I would like the configuration loading be complete before the application even gets created. In short, I want to do this: load configuration, then initialize the application using the loaded configuration.
I created a custom preloader to help solve this. But as it turns out, the application's createChildren() method already gets called during preloading, when the configuration is not yet guaranteed to be loaded. That is, before the custom preloader dispatches the COMPLETE event.
