ActionScript 1/2 :: Create A Facility For The Viewer To Upload 50pix X 50pix Size Images

In my website I need to create a facility for the viewer to upload 50pix X 50pix size images. Also after it's been uploaded, the uploaded image should appear on the stage.
I'm trying to create a custom order form(for a printing company) where the user can select their product, enter their credit card details and then upload the file. I've created the combo box & user input text fields. Now what I want is that when user clicks the submit button:
1. A mail is sent to the admin which contain all the details about the form that was filled by the user.
2. The file that is uploaded by the user should also be sent as attachment in the same mail. I'm not able to figure out how to add the feature of file upload in ActionScript.
3. This one is optional, but will add value to me if possible. The website is developed in Wordpress. Can we have a feature where a logged in user can save his order and come again later and retrieve his order form.
I was wondering if it's possible to create a php script that would upload swf files and not images. I found several examples that upload images but i want swf files to be uploaded through php in mysql database.
Is it possible to make a flash for a viewer to upload and display a photo temporarily, possibily automatically resize it if it is too small or large, while at the same time a few fixed lines of measurements appear on top of the photo that can be stretched or shrinked so the viewer can measure part of the photo?
I would like to create a mass of images which doesn't have the same size/ratio. The images cannot overlap, but they should be placed as close to each other as possible, so you get a big picture created by a lot of small ones.
I created a swf animation in Flash.The size is 1024x768.When playing the SWF file, if I change the size of the window, it doesn't keep the artwork size.As result when increasing or decreading window size, it shows what it is outside the 1024x768 and I don't want.Ex. The footer line that goes from left border to right border is now foating in the middle, not touching the border anymore.Is there a way to freeze it. So when I increasing or decreading window size, I see the artwork size only?
I want to create a set of buttons based on loaded images from xml that onClick turn red or grow in size, whatever, Clicking another turns that button red and the old one back to default. Alsoo it will attach a animated movieclip onclick to the button and when pressing another button, it swifts to that button.

But Now the problem is that when another button is clicked I have to add the listeners back on the button, but I cant get the button because they all have the same name. Same with addChild the animated movieclip. Can't remove it. The buttons have a variable name, and can be unlimited.
here is some code for a rotating crank that controls an image gallery. refer to the "image viewer stops?" thread in the flash mx forum (sorry don't know how to link to a forum yet!) for more info. attached is the fla. i want to be able to crank clockwise to scroll images forward and counterclockwise to scroll images backwards. If i keep cranking, i want the images to continue to change, if i stop cranking, i want it to stp on that image. it doesn't sem tooooo hard, i'm just numb from tryig to figure it out.
I'm making an image viewer which loads in the images and their info from XML. I'm wanting to have a list of the images titles, and clicking on a title brings up that image. I've parsed the XML into an array, and I'm using a FOR loop to go through the array and create a project_btn sprite, which contains a project_txt textfield within it to display it's name. As part of the FOR loop,I'm adding an event listener to listen for a ROLL_OVER event,which, for the moment just traces the project_btn's name. The problem I'm having is that it seems to only add the eventListener to the LAST project_btn... so the others are useless. [code]
Is there any way to program XML to call on ALL the images in a folder and have them work in a flash slide show. Rather than identifiying them by thier specific names can a system be used to identify what order they are to be presented regardless of how many you add or remove from the folder?
in other words is their a way to make an XML viewer that is adaptive and not restricted to "specified" images in a folder. It will just display the all the images that are currently in that folder.
have a swf file calling an xml file w/ several images. I want the first image to load in the swf, then the additional images in the xml file to load invisibly in the cache while the viewer looks at the first image.he point is to create a seamless flow through a gallery, rather than having each iamge preload.
I have taken a shot at creating a viewer like what can be found at [URL]in Flash, but mine is not working right. I am on Flash MX Pro 2004, so I'm not sure what version this lines up with? I can also send you the file I've been working on if that would help. I found some code online that I have tweaked, but it was for a different viewer, and I'm sure that's where my problems are coming from.
i am trying to create a simple panorama viewer. the direction is governed by two mouse over areas one on each side of the stage (both will be invisible), at present the left side animates the background panorama right by 10 and the right side animates the panorama left by -10.
This essentially means it multiplies its speed if i mouse over the same edge twice, this is a problem i wish to fix, i also notice that if i go from one edge of the screen to the other it animates and stops, if we look at this from a maths point of view.
-10 moves left ( if mouse moves too right mouse over edge) +10 this = 0 value or in other words stops animation, then i have to mouse over again to +10 to make value 10 eg move right. this mouse over twice thing is not what i want.
To fix both issues, i think it would be best to place a mouse over area between both left and right that zeros out the value. so the middle will always stop the animation. though id not know how to zero out the value.
I have a very big map (pixeldata, not vector) and i want to create a viewer in flash that allows to view the map. The map is stored (in some way, to be decided) on a server. Probably the map will be stored in different resolutions on the server. The viewer should download the currently needed parts in the proper resolution at the current zoomlevel from the server to display it - similarily to google maps for example. Now - i already have some ideas on how to do this - but maybe there is already a framework available for exactly this or some good article describing it (client as well as server-vise).
I'm trying to create an image viewer, with a next and previous button. The buttons work, but the problem is that when the button is clicked before the image runs its full course, it messes up the position of the image. eg. if the image is set to move 400px and the next button is clicked when the image is at 300px, it moves from the 300px mark and not the 400px mark causing part of the second image to show under the mask.
I need to somehow disable the button after it is clicked and then enable it once the image has moved the full course. Here is a snippet of my code
I need to make a button animate from its normal size to a larger size but in a fluid scaled motion. I'm using a png image I cant seem to get it to scale from small to big when animating, and I have inserted a motion tween.
I have created a form based on this tutorial by senocular: [URL]..The ide is to create input text fields on a site where a viewer can write his/her name and email address and then press "send". When the send button is pressed an email will be sent to my own email account.
My problem is that the email is supposed to contain only a name and an email address which the user wrote in the form.

I'm guessing it is because I use CSS to set the format on the input text fields. How can I solve this problem?
I am building an Adobe AIR app and integrated an FTP client for file transfers. But I found out that maximum file upload size is 100 MB. I need to transfer bigger files
I'm looking for recommendations for a spreadsheet-like input facility to sit in an ASP MVC environment.
The client currently has a large number of very complex interlinked shared spreadsheets (which they are effectively running 90% of their core business from) for collecting and processing information. They wish to move this to a web application and require ASP MVC. They realise that they will not be able to display as much information on screen as they do currently with their spreadsheets, so a 40 x 60 grid should suffice in most cases. Of this they'll be a limited number of cells for data entry that will immediately update other cells in the grid using various spreadsheet-like formula. The grid must be AJAX enabled.
The quality of the user-interface is of primary concern here. As inevitably there will be a certain amount of resistance to move to database/web (and this project is a pilot anyway) the system must be as slick as possible. Almost as important is ease of implementation - the final system will be quite large so the quicker it is possible to configure the grid the better.
Either Open Source or commercial would be fine. HTML/Javascript, Silverlight and Flex implementations can all be considered.I initially asked a similar question a year ago (it's taken that long for the client to agree the project) but I'm sure options have changed since then and our environment is now better defined.

http:[url]....Its great, but i wanted to know what changes should i do at the ActionScript so that only accepts image files, and if possible to limit the file size upload and show a message when one of these conditions are violated.
I am creating an upload tool for an image gallery. The swf uploads the files with filereference to a php files which resizes the images. But when the images are larger than 600kb it fails, php runs out of memory and I can't edit the php.ini file on the server.
So my solution is to resize the images before uploading them, this saves also bandwidth.
in my project i am making one line graph using createEmptyMovieclip() function, and i want to add facility of making multiple copy of that graph to user and for that copy facility i am using duplicateMovieclip() function but when i execute that only parent object(Graph_mc) is copied and the child object(Line_mc) which is created with help of 'createEmptyMovieclip()' function inside the graph , does not copy.If i create same object (Line_mc) on '_root' it will copied.

I found a code on the web that does what I need, but when I upload the image to the server, there open another window and I don't want it does that, I want simply upload the file to the server without opening another window.[code]...
