This PHP contact form works well and is very simple. I have one checkbox in the fla file. However, it keeps displaying 'No' in the email message field, whether the checkbox is selected or not. It should display 'Yes' if the checkbox is selected, and 'No' if the checkbox is unselected.Here is the PHP:

I have a movie clip which has onRelease, onRollOver and on onRollOut functions associated with it. Within that movieclip I also have a checkbox, but the checkbox does not check when I click on it. When i disable the "on" functions, the checkbox is then working as normal.
Is there a way I could have the "on" functions and the checkbox working simultaniously?
I would like to create multiple sprites with a checkbox to remove all items from that sprite without removing the sprite itself. I would rather not create a script for each individual sprite. I would prefer creating one function that creates all the sprites ... If you see below, I would like the function (CreateSprite(10,20)) to include one on the sprites I created in the first line i.e.: CreateSprite(10,20,s1); rather than create 3 CreateSprite functions. I would also like to avoid creating multiple boxClick functions for each sprite.

I am using datagrid and added 3 columns to it in flex project. Data is provided to each column by using itemrenderer. Itemrenderer is checkbox for each column. Name of columns are col1,col2,col3. I want to make the checkbox in col1 selected when i selects the checkbox in col2. But i am not able to do this.

The loadVariablesNum ("textfile.txt",0);it loads the textvariable1=3.14159&variable2=cowfrom the text file, and if I make 2 dynamic text boxes with the Var parameter as variable1 and variable2, they'd have "3.14159" and "cow" show up in them when I run the script. So I know that the textfile is being read and the variables are being loaded.But if I try newvar1=variable1;newvar2=variable2;in my code, and then put newvar1 and newvar2 in my textbbox Var, I get nothing in them. View 6 RepliesEverything works fine when I'm testing it locally and sending the variables to the live PHP file online, but as soon as I upload it, everything just kinda goes to hell and nothing gets sent through. I know Flash just changed its security settings to not allow loading from external sources, but I wouldn't think that would make a difference since everything (including the PHP file) is under the same domain. I've put the crossdomain.xml file in there, as well, but still to no avail. My code to send things is pretty simple:

I'm making a game and I need to load variables into my flash movie from a database. I'm using asp and I know it works fine because it outputs what I want. My problem is that when I try to load the data into flash, it won't let me use the variables. If I put a dynamic textfield on the stage with fname (one of my variables), the text field displays the correct data, but when I say trace (fname) with having the text field, "undefined" pops up.

View 1 RepliesI had the core of my site down for me, I believe in Flash 8 using AS2. I took over the site and attempted to learn everything that they did, so I could update it myself. The one thing that I can't figure out... is where they put the customized scrollbars they made for my site. There are some scrollPane components in the library, but I can't see where he put the custom scrollbars. The homepage link is here:The blue scrollbars are what I'm trying to find. When I add more content I want to be able to use the same scrollbars. If you need the FLA, I'll send it to you. I'm building a customized clock at the moment. For seconds i'm using 12 movieclips with bars inside (fig1) For every second a bar lights up. I can get the number of "group" to pick and the number of "bar" to light up but i can't actually make them light up because I'm not sure how to actually select the group of bars according to the time.
My movieclips are called "group0", "group1" etc. and inside I made different states depending on how many bars light up (fig2) fig1 fig2 Here's my code:

I want to create a data grid that has 4 columns: description, quantity, price, and line total. The line total will simply be the product of quantity & price. I want the last line of the grid to be the total of all line totals. How can I create this type of grid? I thought of using item renderers, but I can't figure out how to have the last row be for the line items total. If I must create a custom component,book recommendations on custom component creation.
