ActionScript 1/2 :: Image Open In Separate Window?

I am a bit of a beginner to Flash and found a template online to use for my website. One issue I am having is that an image with a link is opening in the main window and I want it to open in a separate window. I am going to attach the code as it is now. Can someone tell me what I need to add or change to make the url link open in a separate window? If you want to see the site and where the issue is, go to: http:[url]... and click on "main page" It is the "web" images that I am talking about. I really need them to open in a separate window when you click on the image. The action code is below:

I want to display some data in a separate browser window instead of using popupManager. How do i do that. Also i need to pass parameter to that window, based on that parameter, i ll call the service and get the required data and display that in the datagrid.

I am working in flash website. My client wants his project images to be displayed in new window as in html websites.
The problem is that i could not find any code to display it in seperate window.
I tried, but when i click on the button it showed-u r trying to connect with internet. Go for the settings.
I want 2 display a 1200px/1000px image in new window seperately.

Above is the AS2 code that is being used per a set of 9 images that load as the main page of my flash site. Each image uses the same script and is being referenced from an xml file which tells flash what image to load.
My problem here is that when I hover over the images when they are loaded, they are clickable, and when clicked on, open a new window displaying the full image.
I do not want that. I just want it to pull the images up and stay like that.

It shows the picture in full size with a close-able x in the corner. Is that possible? I'd do it in the flash movie, however some of the pictures are bigger than the movie itself (it's a style and it looks good) just that...

I have dynamic text in my movie that when clicked opens different image jpgs in _blank window. I would like to be able to have the blank window open at a set size so that when the link is clicked it doesn't open the image in a full window.Code:<a href='http://" + currAttribs.link + "' target='_blank'>Keep in mind that I'm not calling actual html pages but rather jpg files to open in _blank pages.

I work with 3d animation. Im have a problem with a personal website Im doing, I have a link in a button inside a flash movie to open a new window and play a youtube movie:

This works fine in Firefox but in IE it doesnt work, I then change the /v/ in the youtube link with /p.swf?video_id= and now I have the window open showing the small youtube thumbnail of my video but once a click play, nothing happens, I check it and is not loading anything.

I just started out using autoscript 3.0. What I want is that when I click a button (with an image inside) it opens a new window with an enlargement of that image. I've already done the following:
1. Create new button
2. Set it's instance nam to appinvent_btn
3. Created new action layer.
4. Set up the following script in actionscript 3.0

I have a flex 3 application that creates an Image from a canvas which the user draws on. I use the ImageSnapshot class to create the image

I want the user to be able to print or save the image. I can use the following code to print the image but flex does not provide good control over printing across multiple pages

printJob.addObject(myCanvas, FlexPrintJobScaleType.SHOW_ALL);
I would like to display the image in a browser window so that the user could print it using the built in browser functionality or right click on the image and save it. Can this be done without requesting server side code to do it?

I'm trying to get the link to open in the same window instead of a new window, it's currently set to _blank. I tried _top, _self, _parent. When it's set to anything other than _blank the link doesn't work.

In Flex Air app, how do you open a window behind an active one?
I tried following and i can't seem to get it to work

With this code, I would expect window1 to open behind the main app window and, in 3 seconds, window2 would open behind window1. But if you execute this, window1 will open on top of the main window and window2 will open on top of window1 and the main app will retain focus. This seems like a bug in the Flex. If so is there any workaround for this problem?

Ok the fourth page of the website is a portfolio page with 16 thumbnails (4 across 4 down) which opens a larger pic on the same page to the right.
I can't figure out what to change. The first and third thumb down seem to be linked and open the same image. Same with two and two down from that and so on. I want to separate them so each open their own image. If I edit it in PS both thumbs change...
I click several times and well thumb one and the third one down is:

This post has been edited to clarify, so that should explain the answer above.I am sure this topic has been covered a million times, but for the life of me, I have been searching the internet for hours trying to find a simple solution to this problem. I am using Flash Cs4 with actionscript 3 and flash player 10 for publish settings. I have a button that I want to open a new webpage. When the button is pressed, I want the window to open so the user can see the original webpage they were on before, and I dont want the original webpage to close. In other words, I want to open a new webpage without closing the original webpage, and allow the user to see both webpages, at the same time doing away with the back button. Is this possible? Here is the script I am using. It is placed on a seperate layer called actions. :

It does allow me to open the window seperately as long as I am testing the movie in Flash, but when I publish the movie and imbed in into a Dreamweaver Html document (Xhtml), you have to use the back button to go back to the original page. I know this might not be the best way to navigate but the person I am doing this page for wants it this way only.

My code doesn't work.I use flash 8 (AS 2.0). When I click a button, I want it to load another flash file but not into the same parent/web page. I need the file to load in it's own window.

i am creating a website for a band, with an mp3 player. i want to be able to make an mp3 player that pops up in a separate browser window. the mp3 player would have a "playlist" that can be dynamically changed from the main window, which gives a list of albums & tracks to choose from. the model for this is Rhapsody's web interface. so, how would i go about creating & dynamically changing the playlist (while music is playing) across multiple browser windows? the "playlist" would be an array of references to mp3s, i guess-- so is there a way to pass events & variables across the windows?
