Now i want to add to images underneed the player wich refer to a FLV. When i click on one of these images the video should start playing in the player. So no xml has to be used just 2 images and they need to load a external FLV when they get clicked. How can i add that to this video player
I have a Flash playerbutton that plays MP3:s. I have about ten of them on a page. How do I stop the other(s) from playing when I press a new playerbutton?
It seems that I have to number the Flash playerbuttons somehow and send out a stopAllSounds(); or similair.
My Flash presentation SWF is uploaded to the web, within an HTML page. Not always, but sometimes, when I log onto the page, I am noticing glitches. For example, the interactive buttons created and embedded within the Flash are not functioning at all. It's as if they are dead. - It took a few times of opening and closing the browser window and calling up the page again to then get it to work properly again. End-users will not do this. Also, when items within a SWF are non-functional like this, does it mean the player needs to be updated again? - My content is loading dynamically by the way.
I have applied the tutorial 3d Flip of gotoandlearn but I have added the reading of xml file which contains my videos paths, titles and description. This works, load ok and I reduce size of the videos. My pb is when I want to maximize video. I don't see the flv player's buttons.
So this is a bit of an unusual problem. I am building an XML based MP3 player. I'm fairly inexperienced with Actionscript, so I copied the code from a friends music player. The code works great - but the player I am making also has 'highlightable' buttons for each song. It is easy enough to get these buttons to highlight when clicked. However, when first opening the player, it opens a song randomly but obviously the song's button is not highlighted. Is there a way to have the player highlight the corresponding button when opening? The cop-out solution would be to just have it open the first song every time. But the random selection could really make returning to the site a new experience.
i need code for swf player.the player consists of play, pause ,stop, next and previous with seek bar and time control.i had try my code which not support my swf ......the code is
function swfLoadedHandler(e:Event):void { trace("swf loaded"); currentSWF=MovieClip(swfLoader.content);
I have few .swf files (presentation with narration) with timeline animation. Now, what i need is to load them into a player control with play/pause, seek bar, audo control and next / prev slide buttons. Is there any free players (components) are available?
I'm building a website for a client that includes testing videos which need to have a limit on how many times the test taker can click the play/pause/scrub buttons (with a counter to let them know how many clicks they have left).
To the best of my knowledge they don't have the original flash project of the current player they're using (which does have that feature, but needs to be redesigned), and I'd rather build it with AS3 anyway.
I'm hoping to just alter one of the existing player component skins like Minima and add a box to display the click count, but I honestly don't know how to alter the component itself to keep track of the clicks and disable the buttons when they reach a specified number.
my goal is to set up an MP3 player, yes I know there are plenty of tuts some may say, however I'm trying to get, what I would call "fancy", with the buttons.The object is for my play btn to toggle to the pause btn and back all with roll over animation.So far I successfully toggled between the play btn and pause btn.The play btn has roll over animation and the pause btn has animation as well. The problem is that when I click the play btn and toggle the pause btn the pause btn goes back to the play btn when I want it to stay on the pause btn, but the roll over animation seems to cancel the toggle so when I roll off of the pause it goes back to the play. Here is the script:
import flash.events.MouseEvent; function playbtnOver(event:MouseEvent):void {[code].....

This is a Free script that comes with Flash Media service
I need to add full screen capability to the video. I can send you all the flash files if you need, also I can pay like 50 USD if this going to take some significant time.
Since the file is bigger than 512 KB i had to upload it
THis is the Download URL: [URL]
import mx.video.*; msg_box.text = "Enter stream URL and click 'Go' to play."; var so:SharedObject = SharedObject.getLocal("FMS_LIVE_Client"); var counter = 0;
I'm creating a video player that is linked with XML. Everything seems to work fine with no errors in the compiler, but my foward_btn and back_btn don't seem to do anything. It shows the trace "foward button" and "back button" but does not move to the next or previous video.
I don't really use Flash anymore but have been approached by a client to work on a simple-function mp3 player with play, pause, prev, and next song buttons for their website. I'm using [URL] and wanted to learn how to create next and previous song buttons. Here is my code:
I'm struggling with a script to make a simple audio player. I'm loading the audio externally, using loadMovie. I have three buttons on stage ("Stop","Play", and "Pause"). First two work nicely, problem is the third one. here are the actions for the three buttons:
STOP button - Working
ActionScript Code: on (press) { audioContainer.unloadMovie(10); }
[code]....
BTW, the external movie clip contains an audio track inside a movie clip. Any ideas how to make the thrid button to "pause" the audio?
I will inlcude here to code i used and a zipped folder containing all the files of my mp3 player. What i would like to do, (i am not an actionscript expert and did this following a tutorial) is to include a download button for the track which is being listened, be able to insert the playlist 'track buttons' inside the scrollpane on the stage, and sort an annoying bug which makes the music form the player continue even when i leave the section of the site where its in, keeping the music in the background running and starting a new track ontop every time i renter the section where the player is placed.
everyone out there that is smarter than me. I have made this little prototype video player, and it isn't working. It'll eventually become a nice little player show videos from our summer camp for the last few years, but first I want to make it work in a basic stripped down version. There is a playback component with one of the skins right above the three buttons.
Here's the ActionScript: btn1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, vid1);btn2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, vid2);btn3.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, vid3);
function vid1(e:Event):void{vidPlayer.source = "Video1.flv"};function vid2(e:Event):void{vidPlayer.source = "Video2.flv"}; function vid3(e:Event):void{vidPlayer.source = "Video3.flv"};
It runs fine when I test in in flash and even the .swf file runs fine alone, but when I put it in a .html file via Dreamweaver and in the published .html it doesn't run. What up?
I'm developing a game, here is a screenshot:I have a function in my main loop called moveShip that moves the player's ship if some buttons are pressed. The trouble is, some commands began to break it recently, such as removeChild(debriefingScreen), and I have no idea why. Also, firing (spawning bullet movie clips) restores the moveShip functionality 0_
Is it possible to rotate through actionscript 180 through 360 degrees "buttons, graphics , video instances(flash video player) " opposed to just "movie clips"?
I have two mp4 video files on webserver, i wanted to play them in flash player(flv player) on my asp.net page, but i couldn't be able to play them, i also tried to play them in quick time player the same prob occured. but i waz giving the accurate path, there were no spaces in mp4 file names etc. Does it need to have mp4 player(or codec etc) installed on webserver?
I have also some wmv files on that server , and i am playing perfectly using silver light player, and media player object on my website.
I am trying to make the SIMPLEST POSSIBLE MP# player using the player component preinstalled in flash.It is very simple, the code is as follows:
Code: on (release) { player.contentPath ="Song.mp3" player.play() } ("player" is the mp3 component)
This works if I want a single track to be selected and played.Now, I need it to AUTOMATICALLY LOAD THE NEXT TRACK, which I will input in the code.I am thinking something like this:
I have a game that needs to send the number of points a player is awarding to another player to a MySQL database on the same server. This game is part of my psych MSc dissertation, and I've gotten a lot of help on this bit from my department techie who knows php and MySQL well. However, he has absolutely no experience with Flash or Actionscript. He's gotten the php bit working so that it does send data to the right table in the database when it's supposed to using dummy variables, but when we try to test it with the actual .swf thats supposed to be doing the sending, nothing happens. We're pretty sure this means theres something wrong with the actionscript, but we don't know where.
I have a slight problem when publishing to Flash Player 7 but works perfectly in Flash Player 6, below is the code:[code]In short this creates a list where the values are kept in SharedObject.I need to use a WebService so I require Flash Player 7, as I said this works as expected in Flash Player 6, so maybe someone may know a pitfall or two when migrating code form 6 to 7?
I am trying to put together a simple game and have been doing really well until I decided I am going to have to create a new class to handle enemies.What I have so far is a player walking around on random terrains and I am up to the point where I have placed x amount of enemies on stage at appropriate times. I have written their class which will hopefully eventually handle their behavior and it outputs simple trace("BOO!").
Where I face the problem is that I obviously would like to make these enemies follow the player to attack. But when I try to access the .x or .y attributes of the player, it throws an error: 'call to a possibly undefined property with static type Class'?I have tried accessing the .x using the following ways (where badger is my player instance and Main is my class definition within the properties of the FLA):
Main.badger.x Main(root).badger.x Stage.badger.x
I have also tried to access other vars and still nope..My class code is this:
I was re-using some old actionscript in a new fla. For some reason my scrollbar script didn't work correctly. After some debugging I found out the the maxscroll value was being returned as 2. Strange when there is only two lines of text in a 400px high textfield.
I published the same fla for flash player 7 in stead of 9 and the problem was gone??? Tried in 8 and there it was again. So something went wrong between Flash player 7 and 8, but what? Is this a known bug and are there any work arounds?
I want to dynamically load .swf file in a player(like FLV player of as3) in as3.When I shall click on an image the corresponding video will be played on the player on right side(like you tube). Is there something (like FLV player) for .swf files with play, pause, resume, scrubber options to play in web?
i think i might be missing some information here about how to manage classes and display objects. In the main .fla i have a mc called player; so I made a player.as class and put a linkage on player mc considering it would work as the mcs class. Well, its not working, the mclip is not noticing any of the vars and functions i added in the class. Anyone figures whats going on? How to make it work?
I can only find how to download the actual PLAYER for 10.1, but which library is used in conjunction with it?Will the latest release of the Flex SDK have the libraries for the multi-touch events etc?Or is the SDK for 10.1 only available to people who work for Adobe? will porting to iPhone supported formats only be available in Flash Professional, or will SDK users also have that option?
