ActionScript 2.0 :: Generate An Image For Email?

way to generate an image or swf movie from what the user creates on the screen.
Example: The user drages a couple movieclips and a dynamic text box to the desrired location on the screen. What I need to do is when a button is clicked, I need the current arrangement of movieclips that the user created sent to an email address as an image/swf file. I know PHP is involved in this, but I've having major difficulties producing this.

Just wondering if anyone knows about the project I am trying to start, uploading images from flash using php is fine but wondering if anyone knows how to create dynamic xml from php and it takes all the image names from the same folder where those images have been uploaded. So we can load all the images in image gallery through xml into flash.

So I am using actionscript 3.0, not FLEX so I had to make my own drag and drop code. The only thing I now need is a way to create a copy of the datagrid row that follows the mouse when dragging. How would I make a 'semi-transparent image' of the row to drag along with the mouse when I drag? It would seem like there would be some way to render a row as an image, but as of now its unknown to me. I would use a MOUSE_MOVE event in combination with knowing that the drag is initiated, but how to I generate the image itself that will be dragged?

I'm using a compination of actionscript's getPixel and php's imagecreatetruecolor and imagesetpixel to generate a png image of an swf movie inside a browser. At the moment it will output a 72 dpi image at the same resolution as the swf movie, but I've been asked about the possibility of generating a 300 dpi image instead.

I have a small application where user can drag and drop images on the stage.
When they are finished I want the to save and email the result to me.
So I'm looking for the best and easiest way of doing this.
The application is already don some time ago in AS2.But I can think of redoing it in AS3 if it's a better choice.
I did google about it and found a lot of choices off course.

How can I add the image to the email body ?

I would like to take a "screenshot" of the stage within flash and send it as an image by email. I have tried AMFPHP and the method described here - [URL]. This is saving a jpg of a movie on the server, but no email function. I know how to setup a very simple php email file but without attachment. So my problem is I have no idea how to "connect" all those parts together and make it so that when you click the button in flash it'll send the jpg by email directly.

I've got two files A and B. A generates a random number in a dynamic text box and loads an image as the background:

I'm trying to avoid useing a button to send the number from A to B, and instead am trying to use an event listener that sends the number when A loads background.jpg; but the number never gets sent (I start with B open already, and then open A). I've gotten this to work with an onRelease event for a button , so i know the LocalConnection coding works, but as I said I want to avoid using a button to send the number. I'm sure it's right in front of me but i've got no clue why it isn't working, so I defer to wiser minds.

I don't know if this is too much to ask but could someone give me a quick overview on how to create an email form that actually sends the information to my email? I have the form created, and I'll post the .fla file (I allow a laugh at my elementary flash movie. This is just a final project for an intro to flash class), and I understand I'll need the .asp file from GoDaddy setup on my hosted space.

I have used the kirupa tutorial on a flash email form and it works GREAT! The only thing is I want to have required fields that need to be entered in for the form to send. If the user doesn't enter anything, it will ask them to in order to send the email.how I can do this or adapt it to the kirupa tutorial code?

I've created a form in flash to for customers to send email from the website. I'm using action script 3 - (mailto: ) There are two problems.
1) It doesn't send. A blank email form comes up that the user has to fill out - doesn't work with their email client.
2) How can I get it to validate?

I'll make it short: is it possible to get the user's facebook email adress (or a hashed email adress), so I can let's say compare his facebook email with his email in my database? I'm trying to get a FacebookUser and then use facebookUser.email_hash but that returns nothing.

I'm currently using Macromedia Flash 8. I'm doing up a website purely on Flash, in of the page it involves a "Contact Us" where there is a Form. I need these informations to be collated and send automatically as an email to my email account. I've tried to follow some scripts from this Forum. I'm trying to put an image, generated from some text, in a RichEditableText. Since it's a styled text, I thought about putting it another RichEditableText, style it, then print it to a Bitmap to use as source for InlineGraphicsElement.I use the following code to do that

In the past I have created a php file that generates the XML and then referenced it in place of the xml file and it has worked. I am trying this with a precompiled flash app and it is not working.
It works if I run the script, save it and then reference that file to the swf. I would rather not generate a file to the filesystem if possible. Anyone any solutions?
