I have an image that the width is like 2x bigger than the stage. I made an actionscript that the image mooves like my mouse moove. so, if i am mooving my mouse to right, the image mooves to right too.My problem is: i want to make the image stop when i reach her end in one of the sides.when i moove the mouse and the image mooves too, i want that, when the image reachs her total left or right to stop so i do not have the stage with no image in the background.Since the image has his ref point in the top left, i made something like this:

I have a slideshow of images which a user can cycle through with the next button, but I want it to stop on the last frame/image so they can then use the previous_btn to go back? this is my code,
I have an image panning to the left and right on mouse move. All this works fine but now I can't figure out how to stop the panning at the beginning and end of the image (it just goes on with the mouse move). Would be great if it would stop at the end and let the possibility to go back to the other end again. Here's my code:

I saw the snow tutorial on this website and i plan on using it for 20 seconds (500 frames) in my introduction. It works perfectly fine, but after that time, it doesn't stop. It keeps on going and going and going... how to make it stop or make it go into the background? used the code provided by the tutorial. I know this is sudden by can someone answer today because i have to put it together before thursday.
I am working on an Image manipulation application which will be developed using Flash/ C#.Net. Is this possible to save the image manipulations (not the image) saved from Adobe Lightroom for a specific image & then merge these change sets with an image to make a new image using C#.Net?
Also, the application for image manipulation will be developed in the Flash/ Action Script. Please share some links as to how we can save the image manipulations for an image (not the image) so that it can be merged with an image later on.
I'm trying to find out how to make a simple image gallery which changes image upon a mouse click on a button, when a button is pressed I want the image to slide in from the left into the viewable area and then when another image is selected I want the previous image that was viewed to remain in the screen and then the new image slide across over the top to replace the image.
I can get the images to slide across from the left upon a mouse click however I can't change the layer order so if image 6 is viewed and then I click to see image 1, the image will slide into place however it will be below image 6 so therefore not viewable.
I don't have an example of what I'm after but I hope my explanation was good enough, I've seen this been done in javascript but I have to use flash and am unable to replicate the effect I'm after

Is there a way to make the transparent area from an png image not to register when I add with a mouse event to that image? What is happening is the rectangle around the symbol is effected by the mouse event.
I have a movie file which has 600 frajmes on top of that I have a layer (Shape Layer Image) which is transparent like glass. This glass layer comes from right side of the stage and it should stop in the middle of the image. It is looping. My actionscript 3 code for stop simply disappears the image after a moment. Actually it should stay on stage without looping. How can I do that?
i currently have my animation looping but i want to set it up so that one of the layers/animations on my timeline do NOT loop (just fly in once)... i tried adding a stop(); but it seems to stop everything that is moving instead of just the target timeline.
I'm creating a navigation bar for a website, and the client wants a little car to roll back and forth as you mouse over the buttons. Ok, that's easy enough, I say to myself, but I've run into a hitch.
When the page loads, (before you mouse over anything) the little car is sitting half off the stage, that is, only half the car is visible. I fixed that by putting the car symbol's registration point along the left side, but then the car's left edge is whats following the mouse. I need the cars center to be whats following the mouse, but at the same time, not be able to slide off the screen.[code]...

Now I want to stop the panning on mouse click and allow the panning again when the user clicks again.I thought I can do it with an Event Listener but well it didn't work out the way I thought. I wish to stop my mask being dragged outside the bounds of the image. The current set up I have is as follows. I created a circle and added a blur; I then exported it for action script setting its class as a sprite with the class name "Circle". I also made my image i was going to mask a Movie clip with the isntance name "mc_bee". In the actionscript I added it to the stage, positioned it and cached it. I have created a video streaming system for a video chat website. I have two flashes. One for the model which streams and one for the user who plays the streaming. What is the solution for displaying an offline image in the user player when the model stops the streaming?
I am working on an interactive map. I want a thumbnail image to appear when someone hovers over the button. The thumbnail is a movie clip on the main timeline which moves into view with a stop action half way through. My intention was to write a MOUSE_OUT and direct the image off screen. When I mouse over the image comes into view as directed but instead of stoping at the stop action,it just dissappears. How can I tell the image to remain onscreen until the mouse is moved away.
