Jun 15, 2009I am really in trouble with flash forms and need help please. Ive been trying to get a contact form working for a few weeks but have had no luck.Below is the code I am putting in to the flash form and php file.(this is the code I have put for the send Button)

ActionScript 2.0 :: Go To A Contact Page When Click On One Of The Venue Names
Feb 26, 2005im making a nightclub directory site in flash mx....and once the viewer searches on the search scene the results are listed from my mysql database using PHP, and the venue name is a hyperlink to another scene in flash that shows the rest of the information about the venue including movie clips and pictures too..also in the database. i got the 1st part but now im having trouble with the venue name , which is the hyperlink going to the contact scene in flash basically in a nut shell how can i do ex: [URL]
i got this part done now when u click on one of the venue names on this site it goes to a contact page....this is what i am trynna do...so all the info is coming from a database......and what do i change the urls of the listings in the database too... if u want i can email the flash scene to u....send email...

AS2 :: Professional - Tabindex Not Working In Contact Form?
Feb 17, 2011I have a contact form on my site for which the text inputs are created via AS2. This works fine but I cannot get the tabbing to work (or even have any effect) no matter what I do. I have a menu that sometimes displays at the top, sometimes on the left and sometimes at the bottom. If it's at the top or bottom then the form tabbing works fine, however if it's down the side then when i tab from contact_namefield it goes to the 8th menu option, then the 9th menu option, then contact_emailfield then contact_messagefield.Similarly if i tab from the top of the menu it's goes down sequentially to menu option 7, then to contact_namefield, then menu option 8, then menu option 9 then contact_emailfield then contact_messagefield.
I cannot for the life of me work out how to change this, I would rather avoid setting tabenabled=false for every other element on the page (as i'd still like these to be tabbed), but either way I don't think this will fix it as the tabindexes i've specified seem to be having no affect at all, no matter what values i put in (even if i reverse them) the tab order is always exactly the same. I am using the following code and would be so grateful if anyone could point out what i'm doing wrong as I can't for the life of me figure it out!

Feb 23, 2011I am loading swfs into a movie clip. However, the contact button is not a loaded swf any longer. It's in the main flash page. This is what I want to do. All the buttons load the external swfs except when I click on the contact button that is in the main flash page. I need to get the other buttons to load after I click the contact flash button. ActionScript 2.0 :: Php Contact Form - Unable To Receive The Contact Email
Sep 26, 2008the source files work perfectly when I upload them to my server - but when I insert the form into my flash website - I am unable to receive the contact email at all. The problem must be with the flash file becuase I have not altered the php (except to send to my email)
I am using Flash CS3 (but publishing for action script2) I have double checked all my input field sare named correctly with var_names that match the php code. The form fields have been created as a moviclip named "form" and the following action script attached:

ActionScript 1/2 :: External Image / Once The Site Loads If Go To The "Contact Us" Page The Content Doesn't Load Correctly
Jun 11, 2010[URL] Above is a link to view the project I'm working on. Once the site loads if you go to the "Contact Us" page the content doesn't load correctly. I'm using an extrnal .xml and .css files for the content. I'm also embedding the fonts dynamicly. If I test the file locally on my computer is works fine the image loads as it's supposed to and content looks correct. However when I post the files to the server (which work exactly the same way) I get the white box when you can see from the link above. I'm at a complete loss as to how to to fix this.

Flash :: Php - Banner Is Working If The Page Url Have Preceding "www" And Not Working If Not?
Dec 15, 2011I have a weird problem,Flash banner is working "clickable" if the page url have preceding "www" and not working if not,So the if the URL in the address bar was [url]... the banner will be clickable and will redirect you to the link embedded in it, if the URL was [url]... the flash banner will not be working.

Jan 26, 2009i'm trying to build a flash site and ran into a problem... i have a gallery page with a bunch of page numbers at the top. when you click on one, a movieclip loads of some images coming in.so the problem i'm having is that i made a little animation for when you roll the mouse over the page number (they scale up when the mouse is over, scale back when the cursor moves away)... what it's doing is when you roll over, it goes to a certain frame in the timeline and plays that animation.that's all working cool, but i need it to not do that once it's clicked on. so basically when you actually click on a page number, the over script should stop until you go to another page... here's the code i've written,

Mar 14, 2011I'm busy making a page scrollbar with the code below. All visable stuff is on stage. But when i render the movieclip the bar isnt working at all
- selecting the dragger doesnt seem to work (on click function doesnt work)
- cant drag the dragger down.
- thus no scrolling
the fla is 9 mb so i didnt add it. the size is due to local pics whom will be replaced with dynamic content when the scrolling is fixed.[code]

May 26, 2011I have a bizarre situation in IE where JS can't call up into flash using ExternalInterface after I hit "refresh". I know the movie is getting loaded and the code that does the ExternalInterface.addCallback() appears to be completing without any error Here's a rundown of the steps to reproduce:
Open IE and load up the movie for the first time, the ExternalInterface callback methods are available to JavaScript. If I hit refresh, the callback methods aren't available and I get the error Object doesn't support this property or method.If I clear my cache and refresh the page, they are available again.If I then hit refresh again without clearing my cache, they're unavailable.If I close the browser and reopen, they're available again.
I've run into this situation before and I'm pretty sure that the extra delay required to download and instantiate the swf is what's allowing ExternalInterface to get set up properly. The way I worked around this before was to add a random number to the end of the swf's url, so that it's never used from cache, but that's not a real solution.

Actionscript 2.0 :: Swf Embed Html Page Not Working From Cd For IE9?
Nov 27, 2011I have created a website which consists of pages created from flash and dreamweaver (with embedded swf navigation bar at top of webpage)Once the home page is loaded there is a button to visit the page created with DW (with embedded swf nav bar). This works fine if I run the web from my computer locally.But if I write these entire website on a CD and access all the files from CD and then try to open the same html page from the same button in IE9; it does not work. It just keep showing the progress nothing happens. Interestingly, everything works fine on google chrome browser from the CD and also works fine from the other computer with Xp and IE8. But does not work on Windows 7 with IE9 from a CD specifically.
I have also tried to use the option in DW (called "Convert active content") for that page.which added that .js file and script on the html code. even after that does not work.I have also turned on the option "run active content from the cd" internet option for IE9 and "activex filtering" is also off on the security tab of tools of IE9.

I have the frames labeled as such: home, services, about, and contact. (All are "Type:Name")
each button is named as such: home/ instance of "home", services/instance of "services", etc.
