ActionScript 2.0 :: Create A Sort Of Slide Show With Several SWFs And 1 Html Page?

Anyone know how I can go about doing this:
I want to create a sort of slide show with several SWFs and 1 html page. The SWF itself has FORWARD and BACK buttons (its a long story, but I can't just have FORWARD and BACK coded in the html), and upon hitting them, i would like the SWF to call another SWF to replace itself. (again another long story, but each SWF has a low size maximum, which is why I just cant make the entire thing one large SWF).
Annnnd, to make it all smooth and easy, I would like the forward and back buttons to be coded not with the specific SWF that they are calling, but rather with a function which will determine which SWF is currently displayed and then call the appropriate next or previous SWF from an array or list....
i created a slide show with buttons, when i test it in flash it works correctly but when i put it in a html page, it does not redirect you to the page when you click on it.

Currently it seems that the loader is not quite working with the first file and all files are loading in at once. I need the player to wait and load sequentially.

ok so im trying to create a sort of SMOOTH transition between swfs.
the problem im having is, targeting a specific label when i need it.
what i mean is, i can target it fine by tpecasting my external as a MC, but...it doesnt give me the desired effect.
for example, i want it so that when a button is pressed, go and play the "outro" frame inside the external swf, at the end of that same external swf, theres an " end" label, when that label is reached. something happens etc.
my problem is that when i hit the button, at the time of that event firing, the "end" is null or rather undefined because it hasnt reached there yet and i get an error or if i do a if/else statement, then i get the else part firing off since again, "end" isnt reached yet when the button is pressed.
i dont know how to make it fire when the "end" label is reached.
i tried while loops but...no good lol. thing froze flash for a bit until it did fire, by then it was a mess lol.

ive added a " here i get lost" comment to indicate the part im lost in/cant figure out how to write.
overall, what i hope to achieve is that when the "end" label is reached, something happens. else, just keep playing until it is reached.
I'm trying to create mono slide show, but I managed to be in some strange trouble. Namely mono slide show works nice, but something is wrong or missing in the code, because it puts the picture, that is pulled thru xml on top of everything. One solution is to do picture smaller, but i want to have buttons and info on the picture. It is not layer problem, because layer with picture container is on the last one. Heres the code:

I am making a slide show for the company I work for, and they want to have a slide that is seen frequently.My slide show is currently 9 slides, and they want a certian slide to show up every 2 slides.Is there a way to do that? I have to start with a slide show with dissolve transitions how do I make the change in my action script. I have a ten slide action script in which I have a loader class declared in the first frame alongwith the url which is distinct in every frame of the TL. I want to change the transitions from CUT to dissolve... Do I need to produce the action script here for every frame.
I'm trying create a simple image slide show using the MovieClipLoader and setInterval, and I can't get a reference back to my dynamic MC logo containers.
I have created a small image gallery for use in a CBT Program.What I am looking to do is, each image in the slide when clicked needs to go to a separate html page.I currently have it working as far as being able to execute a single External Call to go to a HTML Page, but it is working for the entire gallery not individual pictures.I am thinking of separating the way the MC are loading into the container, then tying External Calls Specific to the individual clips.

I am using currentSlide.gotoNextSlide to change between slides, however I can't make it stop playback on load of each slide.I have a motion tween with I need to NOT play automatically when the slide loads... but no matter how many iterations of stop(), gotoAndStop(), etc I use, nothing will stop the clip from playing when it is loaded!
I'm trying to post multiple .swf objects into one html page. The first .swf object plays fine, but the second one does not load. My page is [URL]
Dreamweaver tells me that swfobject.registerObject does not exist, or something like that, but I see this code being used elsewhere. I have swfobject.js in my main folder, too.
Looking for thoughts and ideas on establishing communication between isolated SWFs residing in a single HTML page. Need to place multiple SWFs in a single HTML page and was wondering if there was some way to send commands from one of the movies to the other wihtout reloading the page. (would prefer not to reload the page and all the components and have the page "blink" - go blank before loading new and cached data) Unfortunately cannot build this as a single flash object with multiple MCs.. must be multiple SWFs.
Have an idea or two on how to set this up with HTML framesets and loading subpages ( a cheat certainly and far less than elegant) but would prefer not to deal with the heartache that would entail - especially since areas of the page would still "blink" on loading.
I have a html page with a flash element. The flash element loads in an external swf. This works fine when I'm testing from the swf, but when I test from my HTML page the external swf doesn't seem to load into my main swf.
I have all my swf's in a folder called "swf". The HTML document is at the root level. In my main swf the actionscript for loading the external swf is:

Some how the path to the external swf gets lost. I've tried new URLRequest("soundComponent.swf"); as well. And like I said, this all works from the swf, just not when viewing from an HTML page.
I am aware that I can share simple Objects using LocalConnection, but this does not (in my limited testing) appear to work with NetConnection or NetStream.
In short, I wish to have a single SWF that acts as a NetConnection proxy for other SWF files in the HTML page. The client SWFs require direct access to NetStream objects on the proxys NetConnection.
Is this at all feasible, or will each client SWF require its own NetConnection?
I am aware that I could build the entire application in flash and utilize a single NetConnection internally, but this is NOT what I want to do.
I have two SWFs on an HTML page. One loads fine and the other (loaded externally) apparently fails.
I get this from the server:
Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2036: Load Never Completed.
I get this when testing it locally in Safari:
Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2035: URL Not Found.
I don't really understand where the hick-up is... because my paths are actually quite simple. All my flash files on the website are located in the same folder. The first one loads in fine, but the one being loaded into it does not. When viewing the SWF by itself, everything checks out as well.
In my asp.net application,I want to show the .ppt file using the slide show manner.
That's to say,user can upload .ppt file to my server side,then other people can browser these ppts in the page ..
Since I have googled "embed powerpoint in web page" ,it seems that there is not a good idea to implement this and support the cross browser,so I thought the flash.

I have a flash movie with a button to 'view items in new browser window.' These items are all dynamically generated in flash. So the html has to be dynamically generated as well. Can any sugest a way to do this? Do I need to use php or some server side script?

Normally,it show its contents(the questions),but someday,maybe a VIP come to visit the page,so we want to replace the whole page with a welcome screen.
Of course we can replace the [URL] (suppose it is the index page) with the welcome text(welcome xxx to our site...) in the server side.
However this is not convenient,and the text can not be full screened.
So I thought the flash,I can add a controller button at the page,when required,I click this button,and set the welcome words,then a flash will start to play with the sepcified words in a full screen model. It would be better if the flash can show the text with a Animation.
I have never did the flash development,so I want to know if this is possible?
BTW,can all the clients change to flash with juse one click?
I mean I click the controller button,then all the client who is visit this page should see the contents replaced by the flash at the same time.
i need to create a progress bar which will increment while the html page is loading in mobile web browser for flashlite 3.0. how can i create a progress bar which increments and disappears when the html page is loaded completely? i also need to add icons like reload , cancel etc in the go to address bar,where user enters URL. is there any source code available?
I have a project that I am working on the requires something simple but I can't find tutorials/examples of how to do this.
I need to create a slideshow so that when a user clicks an arrow - an image will slide off the screen and another image will move onto the screen (as if there is a long strip of images that move on and off the screen).
I have the images as a long continuous strip, and they should slide onto the screen with each click of the arrow. Then at the end of the strip of images I would like them to quickly bounce back to the beginning.
Something similar to what I want to do, only done in Flash[url]...
I am building a slide show in Flash 4. I have a series of slides that I want to automatically advance from slide to slide in order after 10 seconds. Is there a slide control in flash for this? Is there an actionscript for this?
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on why an xml slide show should speed up each time it is reloaded. I have downloaded an excellent slide show tutorialand being new to As3 I very basically attached and removed the downloaded slide show on and off the stage with a simple button which fired the code:addChild(); to make the slides appear and aremoveChild();to remove them. This worked fine until I quickly realised that each time the slide show was re added it had doubled in speed until after a few re loads it was wizzing through
I have a slide presentation that was created in Flash CS3 and I now need to get it into Quicktime format. I have been able to get the export to movie function to work but the resulting video is only the first slide no matter how long I set the "After time elapsed:" setting to in the QuickTime Export Settings dialogue box. This makes sense because the slide show requires the user to press the space bar to proceed to the next slide.
I have an iframe to a page where a Flash swf file is running; does anybody have an idea how to make it transparent so that my drop-down menu should be shown perfectly? Kindly be informed I can't edit the source page (add param = wmode, value = transparent to the Flash object), only if there is any chance to make it possible in iframe or some JavaScript on my page, I have already tried allowtransparency="true" and background-color="transparent".
It is possible to create a "virtual mouse" which will be click on links on the HTML page loaded into HTMLLoader? I tried to do this using the class senocular .url... but it does not work.[code]
