I have made a colouring application. The mouse changes to a brush when the user enters a page, but I dont know how to change the brush back to a mouse when the mouse is outside the colouring canvas,so the user can click on the navigation buttons.

A slider recognises both mouse position and also the buttons (left and right and also the buttons at the bottom) and glides/sides to the correct position area on click of the button.

I have thumbs placed on the stage. I create an empty mc to load swf. But my thumbs disappear from the stage when I test the movie ( html or swf) if I settle the _ and _y position of the empty mc.why the emptymovieclip positions affect the positions of my thumbnails?

Ive been working on a script for a video player in which after a 7.5 second timeout and no movement from the mouse, the cursor would be hidden using Mouse.hide(). Also when the mouse was moved, the cursor would be shown using Mouse.show(). If needed I can show the script that did not work

I want to show/hide a symbol (movie clip) when i mouse over/out another symbol (button) and also want to move the movie clip as motion of mouse by attaching to the mouse... for this.. i think i have to use startDrag action but i am confused how.
if i use action on button like:

where "abc" is instance name of movie clip it will do the work but it doesnt give effect of appearing and dissapearing the movie clip when i mouse over the button.

In my flex application I am using a text area which shows fields name when the mandatory fields are not provided by users. My application has about 30 fields. I am showing the textarea on top. So its hard to see the text area when I scroll down the mouse. I need to show the TEXTAREA along when I scroll down the mouse (it should show in side nearear to scroll button)....

i have a text field within a movieclip and i would like the hand cursor to show when the mouse passes over it. but the hand won't show, i'm not sure if the text field is influencing the outcome.

I need to show the amount of times the counter has been moved along the board, ie how many turns the player has.
the dynamic text box is called 'moves' and the counter is a button which is pressed for each move. Therefore, it would need to be added to the onRelease function.

But when someone clicks on a section it then loads a swf file above the original movie so I then want the mouse cursor to show but i'm not sure what the code would be for this? I am aware that the follow will show a hand cursor:

When I do the above on a List component, the hand button is shown and the whole component loses it's interactivity (Hand cursor is shown even on scrollbars).
So how can I show the hand cursor only when rolling over the list items?
