ActionScript 2.0 :: Scroll Gallery On Mouse Position?

I`ve been trying to make a scroll gallery depending on mouse movement, but I couldn't make it work.
Now, i found a script that works fine, but i have a problem at the beginning and at the end, because i can see a part of each image. If i put the mouse off stage, each one is shown enterily but when i tried to click them, i can see a small part of them.
I guess i should adjust the code, but i can't understand all the lines..
I wrote a short AS program to create a tileList and it functions fine, but I need to be able to scroll the list of pics according to the position of the mouse with out actually moving the scroll bar.... example of what I mean: the farther to the right mouseX is on stage, the faster my tileList scrolls to the right, if mouseX moves to the left of the stage, so does the scroll bar...Here`s my code so far:

I am looking for the a code to make my background image move horizontally both ways, when the mouse position is on the left or right of the screenDoes anyone know the Action Script 3 that is used?
I'm looking to a menu that scrolls vertically depending on the mouse position.I know that voetsjoeba has a cool scroller that does this, but loads XML and such. I'm just looking to scroll an MC up and down with easing depending on the mouse position.I like the way that the new XML thumbnail gallery that Kirupa put up scolls along the bottom, how about something like that?
I am building a gallery which scroll the thumbs according to mouse position. It all works but I try to tell the scrolling to stop with the last thumb on each side, and there I am stuck. I attach the scroll function. The inner if statement is meant to stop the scrolling at a certain point (the 800 is just a number I try, I need to make it more flexible). It works when the mouse move to the right but does not work when it moves to the left.
I have a ScrollPane and I want to get and set the scroll bars position (pixel position). For example, if the user changes the scroll bars position and then refreshes the page, we need to take the user at the same point where he was before refresh. For this I need to get the respective scroll bars positions before refresh and then set it to the saved position after load. I have got the positions by hPostion and vPosition but now when I try to save the values back to the same properties after refresh it doent work.
I know you can use the mouse wheel to scroll through text in the flash componenet scroll pane, but is there a way to set it up to work with the code I have posted below?

I am having endless trouble trying to get flash to scroll with a mouse scroll wheel on both PC and Mac. Pixel Breakers code "swfmacmousewheel" seems to be the way to go but despite everyone raving about how amazing it is and showing many version of it working very nicely, I cant get it to work. I've followed all the instructions I can find as carefully as possible but I get nothing. I just want something similar to this > [URL]
i want to change my scroll effect from a drag to a mouse scroll.i have an example of the drag scroll, anyone know what bits of the code I have to change?
I have just wrote a code for vertical scroll of image through mouse scrolling. It works... but It works only after click on the image or inner space of the window..

Basically the x position of the mouse should control the play position of a movie. Do I need something like an event handler (I'm not sure exactly what these do, but I've seen similar scripts that seem to use them).
I have an Input Text area that users can edit and then submit. I need to be able to show, on screen, the cursor's current position as they type. I don't need to know where the mouse is but all work-arounds I've found so far can only tell me the mouse position. The font for the text is 'courier' or 'courier new' and the Input Text area is scrollable.

The problem with this code is that it scales from the registration point (0,0). Due to the other transformations I'm doing to this image at various times, it isn't possible to move the registration point. The image is larger than the stage and the user is able to drag it around. I want the mouse wheel to zoom in on the place the mouse is hovering over (or at a minimum...the center of the "view" they have...aka the stage)I tried doing this:

Which, incidentally, I'm using that whole portion of code to zoom into the state they will be in when they use the mouse wheel.
i recently doing a custom scroll bar with mouse wheel,i succes to make it scroll and wheel in internet explorer, but when it come to firefox, it can't wheel but can scroll. I wonder how can i solve this problem.Here is the script ( it actually the tutorial from kirupa, i remember some people have post it before, but i wonder he/she can wheel in firefox.)

URL...Whenever a chat is added, I want it to completely show the last message. I'm using maxVerticalScrollPosition to set the scroll position on the list, but it is always wrong (see the example). It undershoots it by a row or so. I've tried this with a regular container and it does the same thing. If I do maxVerticalScrollPosition+1, it sort of works, but if the last message is particularly long, it will be cut off (only show the top). How can I get it to scroll to the actual bottom of the container??[code]
I have a scrollpane with the source set to ImageMovieClip. ImageMocieClip is long in length with 50 images stacked vertically. Because of the size of the scrollpane only 15 are visible at a time.I have a button, navBtn, that I want to jump the scrollpane's scroll position to half way down. Is it possible? i made a full flash site and ill be adding new stuff, so my plan is to make a button that sends you to a determined position, for example a menu; when you click in "About" section the whole page scrolls along with the scroller (vertical) to where "About" section is, i dont know if i can give an instance name to a movieclip or any object so when clicking the button the stage scrolls where the object or movieclip is, is this posible ?
I have a canvas with its verticalScrollPolicy = "auto" and whenever I reload data into the canvas I want to set the position of the scroll bar back to the top of the page.
I ve got a series of frames, each with its own instance of a scrollPane called actionText. When navigating from frame to frame I want the vertical scroll position of actionText to reset to 0.For some reason these separate instances of the component are inheriting scroll positions from one another,for example,if I scroll to 50% in one frame, jump to a new frame with a new instance of actionText, that new instance starts at 50%, not 0.
I should be able to set the scroll position by actionText.vPostion = 0 but I get Position is an undefined property of the object actionText .Roll over either the star one or star twotabs and select any action item, scroll the text down (actually a pdf converted to swf), then navigate to another action item and the new scrollPane does not default to 0. Only stars one and two are coded.[url]......
I have a custom <mx:DataGrid /> that is updated with data from a ColdFusion server every 60 seconds. I've noticed that every time the DataGrid updates and redraws the scroll position is reset to the top.
Is there a way I can preserve the scroll position for my DataGrid?
