ActionScript 3.0 :: Change Velocity Between Some Points?

I'm looking for the way to make a change of velocity between two o more points... I've an aircraft flying on the sky and it's following a bezier curve based on an array that contains several points (x,y)...So..i need to make a change in a from a determined point to the end, o just to another point ( think...that this Aircraft will be crash with another, so i need the params to avoid the collision.

In the flash CS4 transformation window (Ctrl+T opens this window) you can set the 3d rotation and 3d rotations points. Changing the 3d rotation in actionscript is simply..
this.rotationX=90;
this.rotationY=90;
this.rotationZ=90;
But I cannot find any way to change the 3d center point in action script. Have been trying things like centerZ=40; centerRotationZ=40; etc...

What Im looking for is a tutorial that basically, if you scroll over one thing, the cursor changes to one shape, then if you roll over something else, it changes to something else.I'd want it to be as simple as possible, only using one layer otherwise I get a bit confused!!

I am building a game right now. I have a variable, saying that Points are 0 and points can be collected throughout the game. And I want the level change to happen when the points are greater that some number. IE: 30 points. I thought I could write something like

I've been trying to solve this problem for a number of days now but I must be missing something.
Known Variables:
vi = Initial Velocity
t = Animation Duration
d = Distance.
end velocity should always be zero
The function I'm trying to create: D(0...t) = the current distance for a given time
Using this information I want to be able to create a smooth animation curve with varying velocity (ease-in/ease-out).
The animation must be able ease-in from an initial velocity.
The animation must be exactly t seconds and must be travel exactly d units.
The curve should lean towards the average velocity with acceleration occurring at the beginning and the end portions of the curve.
I'm open to extra configuration variables.
The best I've been able to come up with is something that doesn't factor in the initial velocity.

I'm having some problems when adding multiple instances of a movie clip then controlling their movement. I had it working fine when I was only adding one child. With the code I currently have 20 versions of the movieclip are added to the screen but don't more. I just want them to float up and once out of screen new ones added.

We got an object tweening from point A to point B, and we can learn a few things from it using the onUpdate function.The program can be constantly storing it's actual x/y position and compare it to the previous position, versus time elapsed.I've seen several approaches but none seemed very impressive.Also, perhaps there is an engine (or more) that can return the object's current speed via the unUpdate function.How would YOU retrieve the object's current speed/velocity (pixels per second or millisecond) during a tween ?

I have been tasked with trying to create a drawing tool that draws dotted lines as you drag the mouse across the stage. I can easily capture the points on MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE and store them in a vector and then draw the points as dots:
The problem is that I need to calculate evenly distributed points on an ever growing Vector of points so I can only draw the line between say every 5th point (say using modulus). I have been battling away with Bezier curve equations both Quadratic and Cubic but still can't quite figure out how to convert my Vector of points into an evenly distributed Vector of Points without sucking the life from the CPU.

I am trying to create a mindmap where the user can drag points about the screen. I have gotten as far as drawing the line via actionscript, and drag+drop the points (defined as movie clips on stage). This is the existing script - I don't know how to get the lines to follow the points. Something to do with ENTER_FRAME or updateAfterEvent?

I am following a good tutorial here:URl...And it uses the following example file to display an embedded FLV movie:URL...I am having a problem editing the cue points. If I open the compenent inspector for the FLVPlayback, and then open the cuePoints dialog, I should be able to add, remove, or modify cue points. However, I can't edit anything in the dialog at all. It seems locked.The tutorial clearly states you should be able to edit the points.

I am SUPER confused on how to make use of the cue point that I embedded in my FLV.It is called "END", is at time 00:00:46.114 and is Event type.How do I go about calling an action, say loader.loadMovie("info.swf), when the movie reaches that point?

I'm currently streaming a video with AS2 using netstream.I have already found out how to pause my video on certain cue points, however I do not know how to skip to certain cue points.Basically I have buttons, which will each skip to a certain part of the video.All my cue points are embedded in the FLV.To pause my video I have the following code:[code]Any help on how I can use the buttons to skip to say "SecondCue" and "ThirdCue"?

I have added an flv-playback instance to the stage in Flash CS4. The flv has some cuepoints named "01" - "10". The cue-points were set in AfterEffects CS4. There's some event- and some navigation-type cuepoints. I now attempted the simple task of getting a specific cuepoints' time using actionScript. I am using Flash CS3 and AS2 on a PC. I am making a CD in Flash, for a client. The CD has videos, images and text. What I need is be able to go to the next scene once an FLV has finished playing. Also if a new FLV can be loaded once the curent ends. The FLV is in the FLVPlayback component. I need to add Cue Points which I can use to navigate with. The client would prefer a minimum of buttons, and thus auto navigation once a point is reached.I would prefer to avoid the need for me to use third party software or add-ons unless absolutely necessary.

How do I go about having buttons display in an external flv file? I know I can establish event cue points with Adobe media encoder. I want the the buttons and graphics to appear and stay on the screen, even though the external flv loops.
