ActionScript 3.0 :: How To Implement FacebookConnect To Flash Site

I'm developing a full-screen flashsite (CS3, AS3) and I wish to implement Facebook Connect to the site. Simply because the page will contain a game in form of a Quiz - where you can collect points and compare high scores and challenge your friends to take the quiz. I wonder therefore how I should proceed. I've followed the guidelines from the Facebook Developers and made an application. How can I make the Facebook Connect and the application I've made to "work together"? How to drag out the information from the users who presses the Facebook Connect - button? So they can have a "profile" page on the flashsite?

I am trying to implement Deep Linking on a Flash site using AS2. I have done it many times but I don't know what happens this time. I tried everything but Back/Forward Browser buttons don't work. When I refresh the page [URL]everything works fine.
I put SWFAddress.setValue() on every button in my movie. The buttons are in another movie on the stage. This works fine too. The problem comes from the SWFAddress.onChange() function. I put it in the last frame of the movie. So the movie plays and then checks if the address has been changed. When clicked for the first time, the movie plays and then goes to the correct part of the site. When you click on another button and then use the Back Button the address changes but nothing happens with the movie.

I want to implement video chatting on my site. I understand that I need a table of users online with their ips and that there will be flash clients but I do not understand how the streams are handled. Do I need to have some sort of special stream process running somewhere? Can I just store the ips in a db and set them connections up in php like some sort of p2p service?

i have made a site in flash. stage size 955x600 i have exported it as fullscreen with no scale. the problem is that if i browse the site with a resolution of 800x600 (760x420 if i'm not wrong), the browser dont' add scrolls and its impossible to see the complete site. How can i fix this without resizing the site. i want the users to see with the proportions that i have now.. ijust want a scroll on the browser.

I have some people making a site that uses PHP and mysql. You will be logging in first to the PHP site, but the Flash based component of it requires to use the same log in and password. Do they have to log in twice??????

I want to limit my SWF file so that it cannot be stolen and hosted on another server. So if the domain serving the SWF file isn't on a list of approved domains, the SWF will not load normally but will instead display a message that links to one of the approved locations. What I'm unsure about is how to access the domain that is hosting the file (or get the fully qualified URL of the file). If You know how to get that information, I'm using Flash CS4 to compile the code targeting FP 9.

I am a c# asp.net developer and need to implement a number of flash website banners. Previously for static image banners I have implemented on_click code behind or javascript to log the banner has been clicked back to a database and process the re-direction. I don't have much knowledge of flash other than I know that a flash program can handle on-click events of the program. Therefore, can somebody suggest the best solution for capturing and processing on-click events of a flash object on a webpage.

I'm looking at this example: and for the life of me I don't see how to utilize this in Flash. I don't want to build a Flex app... I want to implement this object in my Flash code. But I'm not having any luck importing mx.controls or getting an instance of this component. It's not in my component's library, either.Is there some lib I'm missing? Or am I just attempting the impossible here?

We're thinking about purchasing the Flash Media Streaming Server Edition and we have some doubts after looking this edition comparision: [URL]..
1.- It says the streaming edition doesn't have server side play list. Does it mean this version doesn't come with a native application for making playlist on the server side? Could I write an AS application (As I've done with developer edition) to implement server side playlists??
2.- How about the clustering? Could we install an instance of FMS in several servers to make them work as a cluster?

I am going to create an application in that i have to implement an Undo and Redo feature. In the application there will be multiple objects located on stage and user can customize the position of the objects. But when user clicks on Undo the object go back to their default position and after clicking on redo object will move on the new position. So my question is how can I apply these feature in my application? Is there any library or any third party classes?

I am loading an video(flv) file and controlling the video using Play/Pause/Stop..everything is working fine. Now i want to implement streaming for this video. I am not using FLVPLAYBACK Component.

I'm looking into implementing the flash player detection kit onto our website. I found a good resource about this but had a question: [URL]. It looks like the flash player detection kit is focused on flash player 8. Are there any differences as to how to handle this situation for flash player 9 or 10, or will the kit work for all? I'm new to Flex/ActionScript (.NET/Java has been my main playground so far).I'm trying to build a Flex app that has a list that is meant to look and behave like an infinite list (of items - which can be any object). The idea is that the user should be able to scroll up or down and never reach the end of the list in either direction.
An example would be a list of numbers. Scrolling up will show negative numbers; scrolling down will show positive ones. Now, my list is a simple Flex Spark list (using Flex Hero).It is bound to a data provider that is an ArrayList.My initial idea was to listen to the scroll event and add/remove items as needed. However, in the current build of Flex Hero, there is a bug that doesn't raise scroll events for vertical scrollbars sometimes (http:url].....).So, I'm using the workaround suggested in the link above (i.e listening to the propertyChanged event of the list's scroller's viewport. The event though only gives me the current verticalScrollPosition. And it looks like the default spark list supports smooth scrolling and raises the event many times before the list scrolling comes to a standstill (it is a nice visual effect).Now, I need to :
Figure out whether it is scrolling up or down (how do I do that?)
Figure out which items are visible. I can get this from:
list.dataGroup.getItemIndicesInView()
Add/remove items as needed, so that the user can scroll up and down forever, never reaching the end of the list in either direction.

I would like to use the Wordnik API for my site but I am a bit confused as I am new to the world of API's and implementing them. I do not have server side access and from what I can tell to use Wordnik you must use a server side script but I see they have Actionscript. I know that is Flash but have no experience with it. Can I use AS3 SDK to implement the Wordnik API without having server side access? If that is possible can someone point me in the right direction for learning how Actionscript works so that I may be able to do this.
