I have some people making a site that uses PHP and mysql. You will be logging in first to the PHP site, but the Flash based component of it requires to use the same log in and password. Do they have to log in twice??????
View 1 Repliesi have made a site in flash. stage size 955x600 i have exported it as fullscreen with no scale. the problem is that if i browse the site with a resolution of 800x600 (760x420 if i'm not wrong), the browser dont' add scrolls and its impossible to see the complete site. View 1 Repliesthe flash4 published set of files, with a variety of skins tried, works well on the local drive, even when moved to a different folder structure. when index.html is opened on the remote web site, the browser (firefox3 and ie7) displays the player conrols and a rotating horizontal barber pole, green and black, but no flash video.some of the skins i've used are: SkinOverPlaySeekFullscreen.swf, nOverPlayStopSeekCaptionVol.swf and SkinUnderPlay.swf. all work locally but do not play the .flv file on the web site. no problem playing flv movies on the remote web site if the file set is created by dreamweaver.

This works great, except now I am seeing all my data that's returned being logged. Is there a way to disable this? I would still like to see the calls logged. I've tried info level, but that turns off request logging.

I know Flash well enough to make my site but know virtually nothing about HTML. I have published my HTML through Flash but the image is always aligned top left and not centred. I am trying to build my wife a photography web site.I have flash professional cs5 and photoshop elements 9. I have built the pages on photoshop and have made great progress on the site.The three things I am having difficult figuring out are:
- How to create photo gallaries. I need one on the home page that scrolls and some on the other pages that display thumbnails and a primary photo (click on the thumbnail to change primary photo).
- How to stream music. She wants selected MP3s to play non-stop on entry, but wants the names to display (small and at the bottom).
- Contact - I am having trouble getting my contact page to collect the info for me.
Basically I created a flash site and uploaded it onto the server provider the client chose using cute ftp. That's all fine but now they want to add a link enabling the viewer to download a PDF straight to their desktop. As I can't upload a PDF file to the Flash library, was wondering if anyone had any tips on creating this function?

However when I click on any outside link like on my contact page , it detects it as a pop up and doesn't open it.I know I can disable the pop up blocker but how can I make it not do this for the everyday ordinary non technical visitor?What I was trying to do (which may caused this) is when a link was clicked it would open in another tab instead of opening in the same window. Once there of course the shiny ball that is Flash seduced him. He is hell bent that he wants one of those fully Flash animated sites, where every click or hover of your mouse will produce some effect. I've worked with Flash intro's in the past and didn't foresee this being a problem. However right after unzipping the source files from TM I could see right away I am out of my element.When I opened it up I saw there was not only a "site" file but at "site_flash" file. Upon further inspection it looks like in the "site" file there's what the site would look like with no Fash animation. In the "site_flash" file I run the SWF file and it looks like the whole site done up in Flash. This is where I'm confused, is the "site" file just the non-Flash version of the site in case we want to run that instead or for non-Flash browsers? Or does it work like layers, you put the HTML non-Flash site down and all the Flash animation, in a sense, lays on top of it?I was thinking I'd just go in edit this template with my friends information and I'd be done in a week.
