Jul 11, 2009I've got a nearly completed Flash site, but one of the buttons isn't working--sometimes.
It's hard to explain, so here's how you can see the problem. Run the .fla below, wait for the animation to stop, and click the "services" star. Two more stars appear: "design and production" and "editorial." If you click on "design and production" first, everything works fine. You can get to editorial and everywhere else. BUT if you click on "editorial" first (after clicking "services" but before clicking "design and production"), the "design and production" button doesn't work from there (the "editorial" label frames in the "inline_frame" movie clip).
I've got several Actions keyframes in the "inline_frame" movie clip--I don't know if that's kosher or not.

Feb 25, 2012i have made a site in flash. stage size 955x600 i have exported it as fullscreen with no scale. the problem is that if i browse the site with a resolution of 800x600 (760x420 if i'm not wrong), the browser dont' add scrolls and its impossible to see the complete site. How can i fix this without resizing the site. i want the users to see with the proportions that i have now.. ijust want a scroll on the browser.

Jan 29, 2010how do transitions from page to page and from frame to frame all in on site, and i'm lost in the codes this is an exemple that i did in attachment, i want to be able to click in the different buttons bur a lot of thinks do not work. In the portfolio section i create a move clip that works well alone, bur when i integrate it with the home intro it didn't work properly. Hope that someone will be able to help me on that one, cause i think that this will help me a lot to understnad the basic transitions with buttons (frame to frame and page to page).

Nov 4, 2009the flash4 published set of files, with a variety of skins tried, works well on the local drive, even when moved to a different folder structure. when index.html is opened on the remote web site, the browser (firefox3 and ie7) displays the player conrols and a rotating horizontal barber pole, green and black, but no flash video.some of the skins i've used are: SkinOverPlaySeekFullscreen.swf, nOverPlayStopSeekCaptionVol.swf and SkinUnderPlay.swf. all work locally but do not play the .flv file on the web site. no problem playing flv movies on the remote web site if the file set is created by dreamweaver.

Copy A Single Keyframe Without An Armature In Flash CS5 OR Convert To Frame-by-frame?
Nov 3, 2010I am trying to get just a single pose from an armature layer without copying the whole layer. I just want the exact arrangement of symbols from a specific frame of the armature layer alone; in one keyframe; without the armature; into a normal layer. I tried a few things, like breaking apart and copying the individual keyframe (ctrl+click on the frame I want and "copy pose"). I thought about converting an armature layer into a frame-by-frame animation so I can just copy the one frame like I want, but it's apparently not an option. When I tried the break apart option it just breaks down the first frame of the armature layer into one big vector graphic. I've even tried highlighting every frame except the one I want to use and pressing Shift+F5. Nothing I've tried so far works.
This is annoying because if I don't find a solution, I will have to take each separate symbol used in this frame of the armature layer and individually align them all in the exact same position in the normal layer

Feb 22, 2011I have a project that involves flash animation- almost movie like. I need some advice on how to do flash animation. I think I'll create the graphics in illustrator. Basically, the storyline is this:
- guy leaves house and walks to car
-starts engine, puts on shades and speeds off
-scenes of downtown chicago (nightlife)
-view license plate
What is the best way to do this? create graphics in illustrator for frame by frame? Should I use after effects? The client doesn't have a high budget so video is out of the question.

May 13, 2003I did the tutorial for "create a full flash site" under flash mx advance. I did everything right and it worked. Ok here is what i want to somebody to help me out.

because when i extracted the zip file it had only the different swf. files and the main file where they were going to be loaded. What i am saying is do all the swf. files have to have some connection to the main movie where i am loading the swf. files in order for it to work or it doesn't matter. so what am trying to say is i could have any swf. file and use that action to my main movie even if has nothing in come and it will play it.
