And if I choose a Theme Flash Builder copy the SWC into a folder in my user dir(C:UserschristenlAppDataRoamingAdobeFlashuilderThemesmyGrand_theme)When I update my theme file. Flash builder does not copy the new SWC into the folder. So I have to import the theme again or copy the file to the location.Is there a way to point to the theme project instead so I dont have to manualy copy paste the file every time

Jul 4, 2011I would like to ask your opinions about sites that have multiple themes available and allow the user to change the theme while navigating the site. What do you think about this? Is it a cool or attractive option? Is it unprofessional? Is it worth the work of development? Have you implemented something like this? I have been thinking about developing a system for a site to allow support for multiple themes but I am not sure if that would be professional and worth it.

May 30, 2009Flash has become an international standard for video and sound-media in web-pages. Allmost everything that share web-pages have Flash on their pages, Not everybody in the world use Windows and not everybody in the world use Internet Explorer. I was very glad when Adobe say they will really start to support Linux with Flash 10 since the earlier version 8 and 9 was crap on Linux. But its still not good. Flash on Linux eat up almost all available memory og suck 90% CPU. If i diable Flash the i have no problems. This happens the same on different Linux distro and on different web-browsers. Are Adobe going to start to really support Linux or do Adobe just doesnt care? Even Microsoft have startet to support Silverlight on Linux, but it took several years for Adobe to think in these ways! Its better for us to know if Adobe want to support us or not. Then its easier for us to deside if we are going to support Adobe.

ActionScript 3.0 :: CSS Component Support Was Disabled?
Mar 28, 2011I know that CSS component support was disabled in CS3. Is this still true for CS4 (AS3)? I have a set of component skins that I bought real cheap, but I bought it knowing that it was designed for Flex (came with a .fla, .mxml, and .css) but I was hoping there was a simpler way to skin my components than sitting down and replacing each individual part of the component (plus the new skin graphics are named remotely close to their intended usage so I'm kind of clueless what goes where).
EDIT: I should have mentioned this is for the Flash CS4 IDE...

I can confirm this by publishing this code and clicking the "Test Video Support" button:

Is it something to do with the browser used by StageWebView? Air WebKit? Something to do with the IDE?

It arrives as null.I've tried giving it a type of both ArrayCollection and Dictionary, but that hasn't fixed it.Does anyone know if there's an inherent incomaptability between Java HashMap and Flex?If not, what might I be doing wrong here?
