I'm trying to make game like bubble spinner....I created a grid 2d array for this game... But got stuck at insertion of a new row/ column to the current matrix position.How to insert a row/ column to a matrix after its already created ie, if i have 2d array of size 4x4
I was going through the options the generic Vector class offers to delete and/or insert items from/to an array, and it seems to me that the only way is by using the Splice method. For me, this method does a lot of work I dont utilize in my code (like creating a new array as a result etc.), hence
is there an optimized way how to delete a certain item from a vector, instead of calling myVector.splice(idItemToRemove,1) ?
Has anyone here ever developed a function (or general library of relevant functions) that will allow one to find the inverse of a matrix? I've searched the forum archives, as well as the internet more generally, but haven't found anything. If anyone has some leads, I hope you'll pass them along.
If I don't hear anything within the next few days, I might try to develop something on my own, but I'd hate to do so if someone has already done the dirty work.
A solution to this problem would be very useful for 3-D work or anyone doing mathematical programming more generally.
I'm just trying to add the mc's from the array into a column but don't know how to gain any control over them since right now, they're just all overlayed on top of eachother .
Code: var myArray:Array=["mc1","mc2","mc3","mc4","mc5"]; for (var i = 0; i < myArray.length; i++) { var classRef:Class=getDefinitionByName(myArray[i]) as Class; addChild(new classRef()); }
I have an array that looks like:PHP Code:"comp01" 50.0010.0020.003"comp02"50.0040.0050.006"comp03"50.0070.0080.009How to split (rearrange) this array into three columns? (for example):
I use an AIR made program called sqliteadmin.I created a database called myDatabase.dbCreated a table like:CREATE TABLE cs (req TEXT, res TEXT);then trying to populate:INSERT INTO cs (req, res) VALUES('Hello', 'Hi'); // Error # 3115when executing this query
I'm making a simple XML viewer. It simply loads an XML file and displays it in a DataGrid component. However I wanted to add a column at the beginning displaying the row number. How can I do that easily? I was thinking of having a array with numbers [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. But I suspect it is possible to do something like for...myDataGrid.row[i].rowNumber = i;
I am making application which will dynamically create sprites via action script and copy the sprite's image to a bitmapdata object via .draw() function. I would like to store the location of the sprite's transformation point and insertion origin (which would be set within the flash editor when the sprite is created/imported.) Is there a way to access the location of the transformation point and the insertion origin via ActionScript? I just want to read it, I do not need to change it.
Is there a way to reset the insertion point of the caret to any position within an input textfield. I would like to reset it to position 0. The only thing I can find is caretIndex prop but that is read-only. I tried setSelection(0,1) but that didn't work either.
I have a Flex 4, mx:DataGrid with the following (pertinent) properties set:
width="100%"horizontalScrollPolicy="off"
I have the minWidth set on all of the DataGridColumns and the width set on one of them. If I simply maximize/minimize the display (in browser or stand-alone flash player) of the application, the columns scale up and down nicely. But if you grab the edge of the application and drag it to make it bigger, only one column grows really big. When you drag the size down again, the one column remains big, but all of the other columns get squished way down.
In Flex, using AdvancedDataGrid, I'm trying to achieve a drag and drop of one row's column data to another row's column or the same row but different column. Is this even possible? I've been googling for hours and all I can find are drag and drop whole columns just to rearrange their view order.
and i want to show these values on the Yaxis and months on Xaxis....
I have two Qns,
1) how can I pass this array to Bar chart or column chart.
2) how do I need to show months on Xaxis. beacuse I'm asking this regarding, I have kept a filters that even if we want to see some months or a particular months or perticalar span of months... there on Xaxis it need to change the months dynamically depending on the filters..... (for ex, on Xaxis the values should be (Jan, Apr, Jun,Oct) if i select the 3 months period filter....)
I have written a logic to collect the values of those particular months into an array, but not understading how to pass this array to Bar chart,, beacuse there I don't know what Xfield and Yfield to be given....
How to make a table in Flash and enable the column headers on the table to sort column on click?I have seen some tutorials with mySQL but I'd like to start with something basic. Is a sortable table possible using just Flash and AS 2.0?
I followed the tutorial for the Matrix Bitstream Effect here - [URL] utorials/Sp...ndex.shtml - like a slave, downloaded her code and compared, and I still can't see why my matrix will not become random. I put a bunch of copies of the movie clip of the "random" 0s and 1s on Scene 1, and they all slavishly turn to 1s and 0s at the same time, no randomness. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I'm really new to flash, with my background mainly in C++ and Java. But what I'm wanting to do is create a 5x5 button matrix to make a game.I've tried using the visual style of drawing the button and what not, but I really don't like it. I'd like to have like an array of button of object where I can track things like click count for each object. Is this possible with action script?
After reading over the Flash 10 file spec I want to play a bit with transformational matricies.If you have multiple MATRIX records in an SWF do the transforms compound each other?Or is the matrix a complete replacement of the previous matrix?Does flash operate similar to Postscript with gsave grestore like operators which allow the transformational matrics to be saved & restored?
I'm trying to use the MatrixTransform class to RotateAroundInternalPoint but it requires that the object I'm trying to rotate has matrix points defined. My question is, is there a way to add Matrix points to a non Shape object so I can rotate it, or is there another class that is used to rotate movie clips around internal points?
Most often, questions are asked about how to scale a DisplayObject, and the answer is usually to use a Matrix.
My question is, how to you GET the scale of a Matrix (scaleX and scaleY)?
There's a Matrix.scale method to set the scaleX and scaleY, but it doesn't return a value, and no other properties exist to read it back.
The reason I ask, I'm using object burried deep down into a Display list, and each may be transformed. So I use the child object's sprite.transform.concatenatedMatrix getter, but am stuck at this point on how to read the scale from it.
I have to use Flash CS3, so I can't use the properties rotationX, roationY and rotationZ.I have a movieclip, that looks like this. It is now flat, no 3D rotation or shearing But what I want is that this movieclip has a rotationX, or that it is a bit in perspective like this: As I said, I can't use rotationX, so I have been playing around with Matrix. But I can not get it right.Here is how I try to do it
myMC.transform.matrix = new Matrix(1,0.15,0.35, 1, 0, 0);
And this is the result get the matrix right, or is there another way?
