I have created an app for the ios platform, it alll works ok when i test it on cs5. i have created the ipa file but once i try to import it into my ipod it says "could not install app" .

I get this message whenever I visit the Url above to install the flash player. I've used the utility to uninstall the application a dozen times with no luck. During the uninstallation process, I exited all applications and even restarted the computer before the attempting to reinstall.
There's a version out there that it is checking against either in registry or somewhere, where is it so I can remove it?
I'm using windows 7 home premium and internet explorer 8. I've just downloaded adobe flash and tried to install several times but it gets to 99% then asks me to close internet explorer. But internet explorer IS closed. It will not let me continue, just keeps insisting i close internet explorer.

View 3 RepliesRecently I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 32 bit on my HP laptop, and installed all the CS4 applications of Design Premium. The installation went fine, and almost all the updates (Photoshop 11.0.1, InDesign 6.0.4, etc..) installed with no problems. The only one It doesn't allow me to install is the Flash 10.0.2 update. It gives an error that "the installer detected a problem and cannot continue" and then shows some options to ignore the update.

I get "unable to make connection with server or unable to find flv on server" when I try to play the video. But the video and audio files are all in the same directory and the mp3 files play fine. View 4 RepliesI'm NOT on Snow Leopard. MacPro, Intel, 4 gigs RAM. I did have Fireworks CS4 on my Mac, but it's all uninstalled. When I try to install the entire CS3 suite, Flash will not install. When I try to install Flash all by itself, it keeps asking for the Fireworks install CD, over and over, even though FW has been uninstalled. Then, ultimately, Flash doesn't install.I tried to run the CS3 cleanup script, but the terminal won't take my password. So far I've tried changing the code in flash to say .html instead of .jpg and The lightbox keeps loading without ever finding the file.
