Feb 11, 2011I'm making a Flash animation in Flash CS4, using motion tweens to change positions and sizes of objects on stage. I frequently open the animation file and find a motion-tweened object has been moved to a new position from the one it was in when I last saved the file. All the frames in the tween seem to be affected. If I open the file again without saving, the object is still in the wrong position. I have had to redo or substantially correct a big tween several times. It's wasting time, and I can't rely on my work being in the state that I saved it last. I think the problem happens to the files when I open them after starting up Flash.

Dec 30, 2008We I have a preloader that plays behind my transparent movie clip and I want to change the stage to black
when I go to Full Screen. From what I have found most people use a black box but that won't scale in FS.

i have a movie where a user loads images into an image viewer (mc) i have craeted. If a user clicks on gallery 1, the loader appears, and load the jpg and then tells the viewer to show onceloaded. But, if a user clicks on gallery 1, then clicks on gallery 2, the movie finishes loading picture 1, before loading picture 2, is there any waqy i can force the loader to stop loading one,a dn load two immediately.

Aug 28, 2010I have been struggling with this with CS4 and CS5. I am working on an animation with a couple of characters comprised of several pngs I converted to symbols. When one characters symbols overlap another characters the swf file shows the stage color rather than the background image I have placed in the file. I can publish it as an html with the option of playing it windowless transparent and it will remove this problem. But I would like to just be able to play the swf file without this issue.

Sep 16, 2011I would like to have flash www page with dimentions 960x653 pixels. There will be 5 scenes navigated by buttons and each of the scene will have different background color. I would like to have fullscreen background also (filling the rest of the space), and to make it I used "Auto-Resizing and Centering Content", based on tutorial:

To make it working with my existing animation I made 960x653 UILoader instead the centerRectangle, and I loaded my swf animation there. Fullscreen background is working - when I scale window of the viewer the main scene keeps its dimentions and background fills the rest of the space, what is what I wanted to. My included animation is working perfectly.
But I still have one issue to solve. How to change my fullscreen background while switching scenes? Is it possible to change it from included swf animation?

Nov 26, 2010I made a 'movie' in Premiere and exported as FLV., Its suppose to be a banner on the top of a web page. The site was made with Dreamweaver. When played locally, the banner does great. When I put it on the server, thats a different story. I can tell thats something is there because it loads the background color of the flash file but it doesn't play the FLV.

BUT... as soon as one clicks a button to change the color, it stops moving (eveything else carries on moving though).
A good example of what happens is: picture a red car moving across the screen. A potencial buyer wants to see what the car will look like in yellow and as soon as they click the yellow button, the body work of the car becomes yellow and stops dead. The rest of the car carries on. Buyer not impressed and I loose the sale!

It seems like that the bevel takes all colors as the new color that I changed, not taking the one I specified

Jun 18, 2009So i'm working on this website and I want to be able to switch out the entire color scheme on the website everytime a button is pressed, I've stepped away from flash for awhile and actionscript 3 is new me. Plus I haven't quite found any truely useful stuff on forums yet.
What i can't figure out is when a button is pressed the HTML background color changes to one of 5 preselected colors (that alternate ever time the button is pressed). Then for each background change the text changes too as it is part of a entire new color scheme.
What I've managed so far is to change the color of the background thats within the Flash file. What i did was to make a movie clip that plays to a next frame and stop everytime the button is pressed. Now i just need to also get to change the HTML color and the font colors.
//"homeText" being the name of dynamic text field and "Button" the name of the button and "background" being the movie clip that is the background within the flash file.
