Sep 30, 2008I have a contact form and i have a little problem when it comes to send a mail. I have the string message saying that the message has been sent but the receiver just get an empty message, empty email address from the sender etc... in other words the mail get send but it is empty.

Dec 23, 2009I have made a contact form with PHP having 3 fields. (name,email,message)
When i upload it to my server it works just fine . Every mail i send with the contact form comes to my mail excellent.
But when i upload it to my client's server it doesn't work. The mail seems to the viewer that it was sent but the mail i get is blank of all fields.
The code that the send button of the contact is this :

Sep 16, 2011The contact form doesn't seem to sendI'm not sure where the problem is but i have tried to attach all the relevant files (i might of missed something). I don't even know where to start The email i'm trying to send to at the moment is redpandadesign@gmail.com but that will change to info@pedrovirgil.net once i have it working.

Jan 25, 2007I need to get a contact us form in a flash site to send an email to me when someone submits it. I bought a template ([URL}..and it has an area for contact us, but the form doesnt actually work. The template seemed easy enough to be able to get to that page, took some searching in there, so i just need to somehow add some action script that can send me the info.

May 26, 2006My contact form works just fine, however, I currently have the target set to "_blank" which is not what I want. Rather than opening the .php file open in a new window, I just want to go to a new frame (labeled "success" or "error")within my flash file (which currently works fine)So, my question is how do I send the form information to my php file WITHOUT having to open a new window outside of my flash
file since I'm sending the user to new frame instead.
FYI: I've already tried removing "_blank" but it still opens the php file in a new browser window.

May 22, 2009I have a form that allows users to submit an event.(So the form has text fields for name, event and date of event). The form works by sending its data to a php file, and then e-mailing that data to me. It works perfectly for me and many others, although it does not work when certain users submit their event - I just get a blank email. (So the form never works for 3 out of the 15 people using it). This is the script I am using to send the form's data to the php file:

Data Integration :: Load Data Into Form - Edit Then Save
Jan 14, 2008I have an Access Database (doesn't need to be Access, I can phpAdmin or mysql, whatever will work) that has a list of names. I want the user to open a Flash form and have the names load up into seperate input boxes for each name. The user can then change the names, move them, whatever, and then save the record. I want it to just overwrite the record. I donlt want create a new record. I cannot, for the life of me, figure this out. I have tried to find some tutorials but nothing makes sense. Is ASP a good way to go? I have been struggling with this for a week now.

Apr 9, 2009I had someone who had compiled my flash site as I have three forms integrated into my flash website [URL] on the left side you see a "Refinance", "Purchase", and "Loss Mitigation" but I had to do some edits on it and someone else had to work on it and the original person I can't get in contact with and I didn't have the original FLA file so something happens when someone fills out any of the forms to the left....no data is sent! I receive the email but it is blank! I have several flash forms I downloaded to see how I would get the script to go but I can't seem to figure it out!
The current script on my flash is super super long...(i'm sure a lot of nonsense coding in it)

It is a contact information form where the user fills out their information and sends it.I have created a the form in a movie clip (I have also tried it not in a movie clip) with the form components inside that movie clip.I have given each component on the form an instance name.The form has:

I was successfull in creating the page that can send the data to the DB but I'm not able to figure out a way to write the actionscript where the thanks message frame loads after we submit the data. As of now... when I submit it goes to the .asp page that I created to POST the data to the DB.

Data Integration :: Sending Form Information To Server?
Dec 20, 2006I am in the process of creating a flash site for friend of mine. He wants to be able to have a guest list for his events in DC. I have created form boxes and have given them all "instance names". But I have absoultely NO clue how to have the text entered by people trying to get on the guest list sent to my server so we can all read it.
I have a book on Flash but it really doest explain how to do it at all. I'm guessing I need to do some actionscript?

I can send the information via getURL but I want to send the data without opening a browser window so I am utilizing sendAndLoad. It works great locally but not through a browser (tested in IE and Firefox). I have verified that all the variables and urls are in the correct case, I have tried both Post and Get, I have tried network and local..

ActionScript 2.0 :: Php Contact Form - Unable To Receive The Contact Email
Sep 26, 2008the source files work perfectly when I upload them to my server - but when I insert the form into my flash website - I am unable to receive the contact email at all. The problem must be with the flash file becuase I have not altered the php (except to send to my email)
I am using Flash CS3 (but publishing for action script2) I have double checked all my input field sare named correctly with var_names that match the php code. The form fields have been created as a moviclip named "form" and the following action script attached:

Sep 24, 2009sent form data in Flash to a PHP script before and then read in a variable (say a user id) that gets passed back by the PHP. simple enough.but if the script passes back XML, how do i read that in?elow is the code i've used to send PHP a name and an email address and get back a userid, but i'm not sure how to go about writing the code if the script is passing flash a chunk of XML instead?
