I created a website with flash cs5 pro and AS3.0, but when I wanted to send the site to the server I needed to find the PHP for the mail form.(I never studied PHP) I downloaded the files and got the Flash file but not the PHP.

Jan 19, 2006I made a form in flash to send a mail to an emailaddress, when I export the .fla to .swf, then it works correctly. But when I insert that .swf in a .html-document and run this in a browser, it won't work! What could be the reason?

I have the following example file attached herewith.
It should check the target date column and if the target date is equal to current date then it should send an auto e-mail to the respective person using the E-Mail ID from the datagrid.
For example (as per attached list):
An email to be sent to Mr. Rangarajan on 15-APR-12 with subject "Submission of BCM Procedure draft" using his email id from the "E-Mail" column of the grid i.e. rrajan@demo.com

I'm trying to make a flash movie (in a larger project) that has some input text fields (but not necesarily only that), basically a form, and a button that uses a FileReference class for uploading a file from the users computer. In the end, this setup should send an email with the mesagge and the file attached to the mesagge to a determined email adress.
Now, the problem is that I'm absolutely lame when it comes to php, that meaning that I understand someone else's script but when it comes to writing myself well...huh I'm toast. I have found a beautifull tutorial here [URL](much credit to Jorge Solis) for the uploading part and a equally beatifull one here [URL] for sending a mail. Also I've found here [URL] and here all sorts of scripts for sending mail with attachement, from which, of course, I can't understand a damn thing.
Now, to wrap it up... I have functional movie that puts a file in a folder on the server. I have a flash movie that sends mail via a php-script. I need a God'damn shotgun wedding with these two.

Nov 24, 2005I am actually discovering Classes.I try to make a class that reads out an XML file and than converts it into arrays.the array is well created in the class file, but I can't send it back to the swf correctly: it only duplicates the first item of the array in an infinite loop, but when I trace it into the class the output displays it right..

Flash :: Set Up Mail In CS4?
May 18, 2011I want to set up mail in my Flash site. The only thing I can figure out is to have someone fill out a form and click button for it to open in their email browser with forms filled out.
I purchased my site name from GoDaddy and am using a free server to host. GoDaddy provided me with one email address. I would like to send the data to this email account with the click of the button instead of opening someones email browser. An even bigger "dream" would be the ability to attach a file to the email from my form.[code]...

Mar 12, 2009a week ago I bought the following monster template template:[URL]..my last changes to it were to the popup boxes that appear on the SERVICII page when you click those titles there. Right after those changes it compiled and published, everything ok, i did several other tasks in Photoshop then back to my flash and at the next recompile, Error - Send don't send Flash has to close. I reopened it and it keeps closing forced. I tried undoing my steps but nothing worked. I am desperate, the project is due completion on saturday and my source is messed up.
Can anyone tell me why I get that? Has anyone been in a similar situation.I am a flash newbie, I saw no errors in "Compiler Errors" or in "Output", just force closing the Flash CS3.

May 18, 2009I am just wondering if its at all possible to send e-mails in Flash without using PHP/ASP to achieve this as the application im using does not like loading external files.I have managed to do this but Flash requires the PC in question to have an e-mail client installed on the machine (used the getURL) is there anyways I can cut this out and get Flash to send the e-mail?
