I created a funky mail form and i can't seem to send the info from the input boxes in my flash file... to the PHP script, stuff it into an email, and then send back a success or error response. I am attaching the FLA and PHP files as well as the external .as files that are needed for the FLA's effects to work. [URL]

View 3 RepliesI have used the kirupa tutorial on a flash email form and it works GREAT! The only thing is I want to have required fields that need to be entered in for the form to send. If the user doesn't enter anything, it will ask them to in order to send the email.how I can do this or adapt it to the kirupa tutorial code?
View 1 RepliesI've created a form in flash to for customers to send email from the website. I'm using action script 3 - (mailto: ) There are two problems.
1) It doesn't send. A blank email form comes up that the user has to fill out - doesn't work with their email client.
2) How can I get it to validate?
I have a working flash php mailing form but the only problem is that I put some code in there to check if the email is valid before it sends it off but it doesn't seem to work. I did a test by just putting in a as the email and that worked, sent off the email without giving an error.

For a company I made a website in flash. Everything seems to work fine except the mailform. Infact the mailform does his job but the message's I receive look like this:

I made a form in flash to send a mail to an emailaddress, when I export the .fla to .swf, then it works correctly. But when I insert that .swf in a .html-document and run this in a browser, it won't work! What could be the reason?

I have a contact form and i have a little problem when it comes to send a mail. I have the string message saying that the message has been sent but the receiver just get an empty message, empty email address from the sender etc... in other words the mail get send but it is empty.

I have 4 var names "firstname, lastname, phonenumber, email" and 5 check boxes.I've also have a dynamic text box called EmailStatus. I got pretty frustrated with my code and felt it was messy,how to implement the check boxes into my email'd form.

I am trying to send data filled out in a form in my flash movie to send mail using CFMAIL. In my form that is in Flash I have variables set. Then when the button is pressed loadVariables("sendMail.cfm", "POST");
Then on my CF page I have this:

I can't find a tutorial on this. Everything is PHP. And I don't want to use "Flash Forms in MX7"

I believe my problem lies within the email_data var. And I believe the problem is the "&" that has to be there. If I take it out I dont receive the information placed inside the corresponding input text fields.
I followed the contact form tutorial and created my own "join mailing list" form, but I want it to send you a confirmation when you press send on the form.
View 8 RepliesBasically I've created a simple flash form which is linked to a PHP processor to email to a client. I have both simple text input fields, and the ComboBox and DateSelector components from the flash CS3 menu.
Inputs from the text fields work fine and appear in the emailed form, I have set the var fields on these. However the ComboBox and DateSelector inputs don't appear, and i cant figure out how to set the var fields on these. How do you get the text/whatever is chosen from these components to actually appear in the emailed php form!?
what code do i need to put on a 'submit ' button to send the page's form to an email address??(if the page has got an input text box with the information in.)
